He did an excellent job. The estimate was provided quickly. The work was done well and quickly and his billing was also done quickly and thoroughly.

Bill is very careful and thorough. His estimate included everything we talked about and was sent the following morning after his visit. His team arrived right on time and finished before planned. I was impressed that they measured not once but three or more times to make sure the cans were placed correctly. There were times we had to adjust the layout because of studs and stuff in the ceiling and he was careful not to make a mess of our ceiling as this was being figured out. He was knowledgeable and had helpful advice when we were stumped on what decisions to make. He is aware of current codes and regulations and completed our job correctly and safely. On his second visit to finish up he was able to schedule a time convenient to us even though he was given fairly short notice. His team was respectful, friendly and equally responsible.

I left a message late Friday afternoon to ask for service. Mr. Ellison called me back on Saturday, left a message for me and asked that I call him anytime over the week-end. He was able to schedule immediately with me. Gentleman was polite and very knowledgeable. He corrected our problems and gave us tips for what was needed to save more problems in future. Very good overall experience and will get them out again for future needs.

Called to set up service appt. My phone call was returned immediately. They were able to accommodate my request the next morning. The servicemen were punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. They performed the necessary work efficiently and remained professional and courteous the entire time.

Everything he said he would do was done when and how he said it would be. He was very patient and detailed when answering questions and explaining things to me. Excellent. I have used Ellison Electric for years. Everything is excellent about this group of people. I call them for every electric need I have. Bill came in advance and gave a quote, we talked about issues (wire pulls, where to add new light switches, ceiling repair afterwards, etc..). Bill also gave a recommendation for someone to come and repair the ceiling...this person did a great job, too!

I was having new fiber cement siding installed on my house on a weekend when the lights in my entryway went out. We realized that a nail had likely come in contact with a wire, but needed an electrician to locate the place of contact and repair the wire. I planned to call Bill Ellison on Monday morning, but when my doorbell ringer started buzzing, emitting a burning smell and felt warm to the touch at 9:00 pm on Sunday evening I got scared. I called Bill right then and was absolutely shocked when he answered his phone! He told me what to do and that my situation wasn't dangerous. He told me he could send his crew out the next day. Chris and Jason were professional and explained exactly what happened to me and the siding crew. This was service above and beyond any reasonable expectations. A+++

Very well. The workers were early (on a very snowy morning!) & completed all of this work & cleaned up after themselves & were finished by 12:30 that same day.

I contacted Bill, he was very responsive and returned my calls promptly. We coordinated a time and he actually beat me to the house. Bill is very polite and went right to work. The smoke alarms needed to be replaced and I was apprehensive about doing anything electrical myself, but Bill showed me how easy they are to replace. The only problem was that I had purchased battery powered alarms as replacements instead of hard-wired (felt really stupid). However, Bill had a hard-wired replacement on his truck, so the price above reflects the cost of the smoke alarm plus his service charges, including Angie's List member discount. I would recommend Bill for anyone looking for an Electrican and I will use him again for any future needs.

I have used Ellison Electric before and have always been very pleased with their workmanship and honesty. This latest job was no exception. I had them replace 10 recessed lights in my ceiling with lights that would permit contact with insulation. Chris from Ellison showed up on time, was very courteous, and did a great job, even though he had to crawl into some very tight areas in my attic. He was very efficient and finished the job faster than I expected. Because he was finished early, he was able to replace some additional recessed lights in closet ceilings that were not on the original estimate. He cleaned up the area when he was finished. I feel I got a great job at a decent price and would recommend Ellison to anyone.

Mr. Ellison arrived early for the job. He and his assistant did the job in an efficient manner and cleaned up the area before they left. I would definitely use him again.

Overall, I am very pleased with the time spent on the job and quality of the job performed. Bill returned my initial phone call very quickly. He made arrangements to come out for an estimate two days later. I could tell from the start that he knew what I was talking about and that he would have no problem doing it. After two days, I received an estimate. After calling him back to say that I wanted him to do the work, he contacted me and set up a time to come do the work about 1 week after the original conversation. He completed the work very quickly and to my satisfaction. There was some difficulty in getting the wire from the attic to the basement, resulting in a couple of holes in our walls, one of which did not get fixed (my only complaint). I would certainly use Ellison Electric again for any electrical work and would recommend them to others. The price quoted did not differ from the final cost, and the estimate was on par with another estimate I got for the same job

Responded quickly with estimate. Did work efficiently. Had a problem with light sensor for garage light and they adjusted it the next day.

We contacted Ellison Electric to give us an estimate for electrical work in our basement. Mr. Ellison came out the next day to look at the job and delivered the written itemized estimate to us that evening. We called him immediately and scheduled the job. His employee was on time, completed the job in a timely manner, and cleaned up everything before leaving. Mr. Ellison was courteous, called us back promptly, and did the job at the estimated price. The electrical work was neat and professionally done.
