I think the price was outrageous. They were here for 15 minutes. The original price was $118.00 before I sent in a coupon from Angie's List and they took $20.00 off. They were on time and polite but I don't think I will use them again.

We suffered a power outage and several blown fuses while changing a light fixture and could not determine the cause. We called Ellison's and left a message regarding our incident. Bill Ellison called us back immediately and advised us how to correct the problem over the phone and at no cost. He also called us back a couple of hours later to make sure the problem was resolved, which it was. We are grateful for his prompt response and follow up call since we had a freezer full of food that would have been lost without his efforts. Ellison's has done electrical work for us on a previous occasion and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

Ellison came out and gave an promptly gave an estimate. Performed the work in a timely way, under the estimate. We have recommended them before and would again.

I called the first of the week and work was completed on Friday. The electrician was on time and very professional. He installed the dimmer switches and did some trouble shooting on my utility light fixture. He determined I needed to replace the ballasts. He recommended an updated ballast instead of using the same kind that needed to be replaced. They were the same price, but the updated ballast would be more energy efficient, would use different tube light bulbs than what I had, but would provide much brighter lighting in the laundry room. It is amazing what a difference they make and I appreciated his recommendation to upgrade.

Bill started work about 7:30 am and was done around 11:00. He took out the old fuse box, a helper showed up around 8:30 and they both worked hard and did a great thorough job.

He was great and I was very pleased with him. He went above and beyond. If I had any questions he would answer them. He was professional and knowledgeable.

I thought that they did good work. He was very helpful in explaining everything to us, especially with the patio outlet. I really liked his work.

Mr. Ellison came out and gave us an estimate for a standby generator. After looking at the wiring of our house, he felt like it was a job that he would not be able to complete satisfactorily and referred us to another company.

He came out. He was very good. He submitted a bid. My buyer was impressed with him. The seller ended up going with her regular guy but she was impressed with him. He was very thorough and very good. I was there for the experience myself and I do intend to use him when I need electrical work done.

He called me back that day and tried to troubleshoot the issue over the phone also recommended for us to contact the electric company. He then called back later that night to make sure everything worked out and he also suggested another company to call to dig a tunnel to install a new electrical line. This company would end up saving us money compared to the electric company. I thought he was very helpful, honest, honorable, and he was knowledgeable over the phone. I will use his service again in the future.

I have been using their services for about a year now. They gave me the best estimate and did not try to do work that did not need to be done. They were timely and professional, cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant to work with.

I was very pleased with the job performance; especially since the cost was less than the estimate. Also appreciated the $20.00 coupon in Angie's List magazine. Mr. Ellison called later to see if everything had gone to my satisfaction.

They were very responsive and very professional. They showed on time. They it explained everything they were doing and explained very clearly. They also cleaned up very well after themselves.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work. While it took the better part of a day to get everything done, I am 100% confident in the strength of the ceiling fans' installation, and I love the dimmer box functions. The electric stove circuit had been useless to me since I got a gas stove, which had a simple plug for the display - now I have it plugged in immediately behind the range, and don't have to plug it in across the counter top. My favorite part is the outside outlet - they installed a larger outlet that has a cover, so that it's protected from the elements even when I have something plugged in. I would not have thought to request it, and was very happy to follow their recommendation.

They were really good. Getting the job done quickly and efficiently. The pricing was reasonable and all in all we were pleased. We would definitely use them again.

They are very knowledgeable, professional and they give free estimates. They always clean up after themselves. They're not the cheapest but they know their stuff when it comes to electrical issues.

They are reliable and show up on time. We've even had Mr. Ellison, himself come out himself to fix a problem for us.

When quoting, "shoes are covered and great care is taken to treat customer's home with care". "Crew" arrived and no such care was taken. I suppose it's "my fault" for not telling the crew to cover all the newly remodeled surfaces before piling tools and debris onto the Swanstone tops. No problem, with a few hours of effort, we were able to remove nearly all the marks. Also, we decided just the night before the work to eliminate part of the job and keep existing items we thought we'd miss. We later received a scolding from Ellison for shorting him and leaving his crew with down time during that day (be sure you let them go ahead and cut up your home, even if you don't really want them to). This has never happened before with any other contractor we've hired! As a consultant and contractor myself, I understand the so-called problem, but I've never given the customer a hard time. Often, a customer will call again either for the same reason or something else, if their experience was a pleasant one. *** Having said all that, with the exception of one sconce that didn't work, everything else was okay. I repaired the problem with the non-working sconce with only 20 to 30 minutes involved. "Okay" is the important word here. Nothing struck me as Grade A work, just typical. I did advise Bill Ellison of the nature of the work provided. He was in Florida and said he'd look into it when he returned. I have not heard from him since and don't expect to as the work has been paid in full.*** If hiring Ellison, be sure to clearly state everything you want and specify your property is to be protected, but no matter who you hire: don't let them do anything to your home that you don't really want. It's your house and your money! I welcome any member to contact me directly regarding this experience.

The light was out in the exhaust fan but the fan was working. I thought that they would have to replace the whole unit, but the technician that came out said that we probably wouldn't and called his boss that came out and said they could order a part to repair the exhaust fan. I told them that they wouldn't be able to come out until a month because I went on vacation and they said that would be fine and they would hold the part until then. When I came back from my vacation they came out and repaired the exhaust fan and didn't charge me extra for the visits and service calls. He was very personable and saved me money.

The electrician was very prompt in returning my call, on time and very polite. We were pleased with his work and reasonably priced. We would use them again.
