Arrived on time and called ahead as I requested. Very professionally identified the root cause of circuit breaker issue. Inspected several faulty electrical outlets and replaced as needed Identified a couple of situations that were not up to code and remediated. Repaired two great room fans that had been making noise for long time and which had not been remediated by two previous vendors. Worked diligently and professionally to make repairs at a fair price. Would definitely re-use. As a matter of fact, they will be providing me with estimates for two additional projects. Would recommend without reservation.

Called on a Monday and left message, call returned that evening. Given the small job, estimate was given over the phone. Service performed Wednesday morning as promised. I would definitely use again, very professional and price was more than fair.

Had a GFI in garage not working. Technician troubleshooted and said it was a cut in the outside lamp post wire. Found the cut, replaced wire and lamppost.

I called Mr. Ellison when a Comcast tech told me that there was a signal problem with my cable within my condo that was causing my phone to randomly cut off a call. I called Mr. Ellison on a Friday and he returned my call on Sunday, apologizing for not getting back to me right away. We scheduled his visit to give me an estimate for Tuesday. He was very accommodating to my work schedule and very punctual. I explained the issue and we went out to my garage to find the cable box. He went into my attic looking for it but found it behind some storage boxes in my garage. While he was in my attic, he noticed that my bathroom exhaust fans were not vented to the outside and proceeded to inform me. Mr. Ellison found my cable box and showed me that the main cable was folded at a 90 degree angle and that could hinder the movement of information to the smaller cables to my TVs, phones and computer. He also noticed that the electric and gas lines were not bonded and explained that the situation was unsafe and not compliant with current building codes. He proceeded toc all Comcast for me to see if they would provide a new cable splitter but, in the meantime, he e-mailed his estimate to me for the work we discussed. I accepted his estimate, scheduled the work, and was very impressed and appreciative of his follow through with Comcast. On the scheduled day, Mr. Ellison and Chris arrived at my home promptly at 7:30AM. Mr. Ellison showed Chris what was to be done, spoke to me about the exhaust fan situation that I was dealing with through my builder, and went on to another appointment. Chris was very cordial and completed the work. He was concerned that my TV worked, (I was having trouble getting a picture on one TV) but I got on the phone with Comcast when Chris was finished and they refreshed the signal. It seems that the Comcast tech fogot to attach my cable when he replaced the box on my TV, Mr Ellison called later to find out if I had solved my TV problem and to be sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Also, since the splitter cost less than Mr. Ellison originally estimated, Chris passed that savings on to me, which I appreciated; I admire such high principles! I have recommended Ellison Electric to the condo homeowners association to check all the homes for compliance with the coding for bonding of the gas line. I was very pleased with my experience with Mr. Ellison and Chris and will certainly call him again for any electrical issues.

My over all experience has been good. We have used Ellison Electric a few times before.

I was impressed with the responsiveness of Ellison. They called me back the night I initially called, and I was delayed getting back to them. When I did call, they had someone come out within 2 hours to take a look at the light. The rep wasn't able to find the wire on the initial visit, so he said they'd need to come back with a locator, and they were able to get me into the schedule at 7:30am on the next Monday (this was a Friday). They arrived right on time and fixed the wire within a couple of hours. The only thing I would recommend is being more transparent on costs - the rep told my husband that it would be $37 instead of something like $100, but we didn't realize that it was just for the parts - our invoice was much higher due to labor costs, etc. Just a disconnect in communication that could be resolved with more overt pricing.

As always, Mr. Ellison returned my call promptly, gave me an estimate quickly and scheduled the work in a short time frame. The work was done very professionally by members of his electrician crew and just as described in the estimate. The cost was what I was told it would be in the estimate. I am very pleased.

Showed up on time and the workers were very polite. I showed them what I wanted done and they hopped to it. A few hours later they were done. They communicated with me when necessary, but mostly quietly did their jobs. Which was nice as we both work from home.

Have used Ellison electric twice now. Very friendly and professional. Punctual and fixed everything I was having problems with. Would recommend them to anyone and will use them again for any electrical problems that we have.

Everything was very good. The job was bigger than I thought it was going to be but I really appreciated their effort in making sure everything was safe and secure. They also went out of their way to be helpful to me and this was truly appreciated.

My faith in good, honest tradesman has been restored. After recent, multiple bad experiences with companies regarding an ongoing HVAC problem, I was not looking forward to addressing an unrelated electical issue. I had 4 electrical outlets that weren't working; 2 of them stopped working 2 days ago, 1 of them 2 weeks ago, and I cannot verify the other one ever worked. I figured that the outlets got overloaded and needed to be "reset." Well, after some investigation, I couldn't find a GCFI reset that was tripped or a breaker that was tripped. So, after reading the reviews on Anglie's List, I called Ellison due to the good reviews and close proximity to my house. I left a message with somebody at the office about my problem around noon. The lady said that Mr. Ellison would call me tonight for further details between 8 and 9p. Mr. Ellison did call around 8:15. I explained my problem and he was certain that there was at least one GCFI outlet that needed to be reset. After telling him I tried resetting the ones I could find, he talked me to the ones I hadn't located (one in a little used bathroom another level and one in the garage behind some big storage units). I felt like an idiot but was very happy and impressed that Mr. Ellison was okay to solve my problem over the phone instead of scheduling a service call. He could have very easily set up an appointment (likely knowing it was going to be an easy fix) and I would have happily paid. I appreciate the help and the honesty. There is no doubt that I will call Ellison for any future electrical issues. I guess I should've asked if he did HVAC work!

Bill was fair, and responsive. The job had unforeseen issues, which caused it to take longer than anticipated. Bill completed the job as quoted. His team was respectful and efficient.

They are always on time, and they do the job right the first time.

I thought they were a bit pricey. They showed-up when they were suppose to, and did the work like they were suppose to do. It didn't take them long to install it.

He had an electrician on the north side and made arrangements for him to stop by my house. He came out and quickly fixed the problem. It was a minor repair. After the technician fixed the problem Mr. Ellison called to follow up making sure everything was alright. That was impressive. My fixtures are 40 years old. He said if it needs to be re-wired he knew someone that could fix it. He even offered to come out and take the fixture down if I needed free of charge. He said the other company could fix it cheaper than they could.

Mr Ellison has done work for us before and I would recommend him without hesitation. He and his crew are courteous, friendly and very competent. They make sensible suggestions and never try to "upsell".
