It went very well. We called Cox's Hardwood Flooring for a quote to refinish the hardwood floors in our living room, dining room, hallway and two bedrooms. Mark Eads, Sr. quoted us a very good price. When my wife told him she needed the work while we were gone, he made sure the work was done well before her deadline. The work was done when we returned. The quality of the work was top notch, and extra efforts were made to give it nice finishing touches for no extra cost. Mark was exceptionally easy to work with and we would recommend Cox's Hardwood Flooring without hesitation.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Patiently explained all my options and cost/benefits of each. On the day of the install, the crew came out and installed flooring in my family room in about 4 hours. They cleaned up the area when they were finished and were courteous. It took a while to get on their calendar, but it was worth it.

They were extremely professional. We were beyond pleased with the quality of the work and minimal dust.

Job went brilliant from start to finish. Mark discussed options on how we wanted the wood installed and answered all questions. He and his men were on on time each day and did very high quality work. Trim work he did around stairs and fireplace was outstanding. When finished they did a great job of cleaning up. Would highly recommend them for any hardwood floor install.

I can't speak highly enough for how wonderful these guys are. They are very knowledgeable and were able to install a new matchstick floor that looks just like the 87 year old hardwood floor it is adjacent to. They are not a bargain, but they do high quality work and in this case you definitely get what you pay for. Because they are so respected in the area, there is usually a lengthy wait when booking them to do your job, but again, I wouldn't have anyone else touch my floors regardless of how long the wait is. They do a beautiful job.

I feel there are a few spots that could have used more putty in the cracks between boards but the 2 spots they patched are mostly un-noticeable, you really have to look for them. If I didn't know where they were I would never be able to find them. They didn't include the door thresh holds in the original estimate. I brought it up and they did the front for a small additional fee, it looks very nice. Our back door thresh hold never got refinished and I kind of regret that now. We had the work performed while we were out of town, the workers were very trustworthy.

we did all the prep work, they showed up on-time (after a long drive to get to us) each day as planned and they executed all the work just fine. We definitely would use them again.

Have used Cox for over 28 years on my residence and rental properties. I don't need to call anyone else. The date provided is just a guess on the last time I have used them. The best!! Work performed at all the below locations. If the list is not there, they have worked on at least 30 units for me.

Mr. Eads was very professional. He was very knowledgeable about hardwood flooring and struck me as very much a craftsman. The estimate he gave was very reasonable. He does not move heavy furniture. I would have hired him, without hesitation, to install our maple floor, if not for the fact that we have several pieces of massive, heavy furniture that we are not able to move ourselves. I felt that the logistics of hiring someone else to come and move the furniture out of the way, then come and move it back after installation, made it worthwhile to hire someone who was also able to more the furniture. If in the future, I have hardwood installed in another room that does not involve moving heavy furniture, I will definitely consider Cox Flooring.

We had an excellent overall experience with this company and would highly recommend their services to others. Our floors look amazing! They arrived promptly at the appointed time to inspect the job and provided a clear written estimate via email. We agreed to the work and set up 3 consecutive days on which the work would be performed. We received follow up emails confirming the work schedule and their crew arrived each day on time and ready to work. The sanding process creates a great deal of dust and this company did an excellent job of minimizing the spread of dust throughout our home by very effective placement of plastic dust curtain barriers that limited and contained the dust. We found this company to be very professional and a pleasure to work with from start to finish!

Very pleased and would use them again. Had to wait months because they were all booked up, but in the end, we were very happy.

Cox Hardwood Flooring is a great company to deal with if you are going through the time frame of new or refinishing your hardwood flooring! From the time Mark came to measure and give us an estimate, and the actual start of our refinishing project was approximately 31/2 months -- solid bookings!! Mark is the owner of the company and for this reason we chose to wait until he was available to start the project -- his reputation was important -- so we knew he would do a good job! I was updated a few times by Teresa as to the time line agreed upon and the crew did indeed arrive bright and early in Nov. to begin. They were replacing hallway carpeting with Oak hardwood flooring which would align with the existing kitchen floor, also being refinished. My husband and I were amazed by the perfect match-up, and overall we are very pleased with the results!! Other than the inconvenience of the project in general - being the kitchen/hallway, some expected dust from sanding, and the odor from the sealer, the job was finished in 4 days! I would highly recommend Cox Flooring!

Mark provided quality service and the job was done perfectly. All the corners around door entrances, closet floors and edges of the floor were done well and the floors look like new. Also the repair blends in with the floor. The quality of this job exceeded my expectations.

The workers were great! The estimate process was awesome and they provided a few extra rooms in the estimate so we can budget for our next renovations. The 1960s oak floors had been covered by carpets for over 20 years, so they needed to be refinished. Cox flooring did an amazing job and was a great price. I would recommend them to anyone! The price input doesn't work on the new iOS9,but it was about $375.

Cox Hardwood Flooring first refinished hardwood floors for me in January, 2015. I got estimates from three providers and chose Cox because of their lower price on repair work I needed, their competitive price on refinishing, and especially because of their responsiveness and obvious dedication to their work. At that time they refinished the floors in my kitchen, family room, and master bedroom. The results were truly outstanding, so this month I had them come back and refinish the floors in the living room, a hallway, and another bedroom. Again, the results are beautiful. This time, Mark Eads, co-owner of the company with his wife, Teresa,also repaired three scraped places on my kitchen floor at no additional cost. The scrapes occurred when I had a painting crew work in April, 2015. Teresa Eads handles the office part of the business. She returns phone call promptly, answers questions knowledgeably, and follows up on estimates and appointments efficiently via e-mail. Teresa's father, Arvil Cox, started the company. They stick to their scheduled work dates and arrive promptly. Mark and his crew do not take breaks. They are professional craftsmen who take pride in doing excellent work. I would not consider any other company for work on my hardwood floors.

Wonderful experience! Free estimate was done promptly and that discussion led me to another provider of hardwood flooring (where I ended up buying - Prosource of Indianapolis - Cox does not do pick-up of flooring but I had a small enough job that I was able to work out an alternative.) It was my first time doing a flooring install and Mark & his wife Teresa were very responsive with all of my questions along the way. The gentleman who sold me the flooring said I had the best team in the state scheduled to take care of me. As mentioned, I handled all the tear-out and prep work, as I had a budget to stick to. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and got to work. I was at work so I'm not sure when they finished up but I came home to beautiful floors! I couldn't even tell they had been to my house as far as mess goes. They used a table saw on my front porch and it was all swept up. I couldn't have asked for a better first new flooring experience. I was lucky to have a small enough job that they could work me in earlier than Dec, which was another huge bonus for me.

Scheduling and on-site proposal were done promptly and courteously. The crew returned as planned and did a fine job. There was practically no dust in the house from the sanding. The final finish job is excellent. It was obvious that they really knew the trade. The price was right. It was a pleasure to have them here. I will have them back.

We have used Cox Hardwood Flooring before, so we knew the quality was excellent. However, equally important is the quality of customer service that you can count on. Mark and his crew are a joy to work with; they do high quality work and are very responsive to any questions you may have. They are prompt -- arriving when promised and clean up every day. They are such hard workers! Teresa (Mark's wife) schedules and invoices the jobs and responds quickly and efficiently to email questions. We would HIGHLY recommend Cox Hardwood Flooring for both quality and fair price!

The estimate was exactly what was charged. The estimator was timely. The employees showed up right when they said they would and did an excellent job on our floors. They were professional and trustworthy. Would use them again.
