Spike did a great job, came out when we needed him, did a great job, and the price was more than fair.

I had use them before and I was very satisfied with him. I didn't know he was on Angie's List and I was going through it then I found him on there. I've had him out on a couple of different cases with the leak in the basement and he was very responsive and came right out and fixed it. He's very professional.

He never was in contact with me regarding when he would be there. I always had to call him. And then he often would not show up. This went on for quite a time. After he left, he had neglected to tighten the water line in the tub and it dripped (read: poured) into my basement. Right now, the caulking is disintegrating, the trim he used is coming away from the wall and I am so sorry that I employed him.

Extending the outdoor faucet and replacing the seal in the other outdoor faucet were quick and easy jobs that went well. The basement wash tub relocation required rerouting copper pipes, which had to be soldered. We found that the joint leaked after he left. We called him on his cell phone and he returned and corrected the problem within a few hours. He also added a pvc valve to our water line feeding the sprinkler system. When we went to turn it on, we could not open it. He returned and forced it open. He explained that the pvc valves stick some of the time, but apparently did not check it after installing it. Overall I was disappointed that both of the large tasks he did needed to be redone, but was happy with his response in correcting them.

He was very thorough. I really appreciated him coming out and telling me exactly what needed to be done. We live in the country and work off of a well. Randall told me where to go and what to purchase. It required very little work and it was an easy fix. He was prompt and hung around for an extra 30 minutes until I got home from work to look at my vent.

I scheduled the appointment about 5 days a head of time. Appointment was scheduled for early afternoon, but Spike called mid morning and was available early, so he came over then. We had him evaluate a leak from our second floor bathroom into the ceiling of our family room. He was 95% sure that it was due to the cracks in the grout in the tile shower. I mentioned that we hoped to do major work on that bathroom and he said he would leave it until we did that work, or we could use clear caulk to cover cracked corners. We have opted to leave it and use our other shower for the time being. In the other full bath, he unclogged the tub, which is draining really well now. I also asked him to evaluate the grout in that bath and he recommended chipping out the grout in the corners and replacing with silicon caulk. I asked him to go ahead and do that. He did have to go out and get caulk and was gone about 20-30 minutes. Total project took 2 hours. Service call $50, labor $130, and parts $20. I was pleased with his work and would use Randall and Sons in the future.

Randall and Son performed several services on our home prior to our closing on the house. Once we moved in, I was a little concerned about the garbage disposal wires that appeared to be exposed. I was afraid little fingers would get in there and get hurt. I called them up and explained the situation. Someone came out that same day and fixed the wiring and made it safe for my family. He explained there was no danger, but the technician hadn't secured part it completely. It was fixed and he was the kindest man. There was no charge as they backed up their work. I really appreciated the quick attention. They will be my #1 plumbing company to call from now on.

It was a busy time of the year for Spike. We had to wait a week between his first visit and the actual service call. But it was well worth the wait. Our previously weak shower probably quadrupled its water pressure. The leaky kitchen faucet no longer leaks when I turn it off, so I expect big savings on our water bill. A great and very satisfying experience. Thanks to those who recommended Randall and Sons.

After calling Ace Plumbing, and after inspection, we were informed we needed a new thermo coupler, which he could not get locally, he claimed. He called the manufacturer, AO Smith, and ordered a thermo coupler, and another part for a total of $275, plus overnight shipping for $50. He could not guarantee when he could return, even with overnight delivery. We thought everything was excessive, so we got on Angie's List and found RANDALL & SONS PLUMBING with 5 stars in every category. When I called about 3PM and explained the problem, he said he'd be here in 20 minutes to take a look. He arrived right on time, looked at the water heater, and said he had the part in his truck, and he could be done in 20 minutes. He finished in 20 minutes, and we will have hot water in 45 minutes. What a great company!! We plan on using them from now on.

Contact, quote and performance went easily. The work was done on schedule and without a hitch. Mr.Randall left us with everything performing as we envisioned and feeling good about the experience.

The service experience was excellent.

After seeing the excellent rating on Angie's List, we called the day after Christmas and he took a look at our problems, gave us an estimate of $275,00 based on three hours, but he didn't think he'd need that long. He offered the option of replacing the pipe with two inch pipe for just $25.00 more which seemed like a good idea. We made an appointment for the day after New Years at 9:00 a.m. When he arrived it took about 2 1/2 hours, He removed the old pipe and cleaned up before he left. We are very happy!.

Spike came within 24 hours of when I first called. He completed all the work including a run to the hardware store in a very timely manner and left the space where he worked clean. He was very professional, and I will definitely be using him in the future if I have future plumbing issues.

We had a somewhat unusual problem. A pipe was leaking below the upper level floor, and above the lower level ceiling. Spike came out, analized the problem and assessed what he would need to fix it, went and picked up the materials and was back in a snap. He was cordial and courteous but not a bunch of yakety yak, which I was thankful for as I work from home and was very busy that day. Before I knew it Spike had completed the job! He was professional and did high quality work at a reasonable price. Everything is sealed tight and working just fine. Thanks to Randall and Son's and Angies List we have found our plumbing company for life!.

Great, Spike was very professional in dealing with my wife from the estimate through the completion of the job. His price was as good as anyone's, and he even took care of some small issues like there I nicked a pipe and caused a leak in a drain pipe during my basement remodel. Our timeline was not that tight, so the job stretched out much longer then most plumbers, but he is a small shop, and puts the urgent calls of his other customers as a higher priority over remodels that aren't on a tight schedule. I was also impressed with his choice of materials, still using copper pipe when most plumbers are pushing PEX to get their prices down. One last thing to mention, he only charged exactly what he quoted. And he did a great job cleaning up his mess after the job was complete. I'd recommend him to anyone if you can book him.

Plumber was very fast. I had called four plumbers previously for this same job before landing on Randall's number. I only had to wait a little over a hour as he finished another customers job. He showed up fixed in 15 minutes that which had me stumped. Great service will use again!

Our plumber was a bit late (an hour), but as soon as he came in he set straight to work and was done quickly. Our leaks are gone, the price was fair, and he was in and out. No chit-chatting, professional demeanor, and fair price. That's all you can ask for! :)

Mr. Randall was teriffic and I would have him again if I needed plumbing services.

Checked Angie's List and found Randall and Sons. Read all the comments on the company. Felt very comfortable contacting them. I emailed them and within an hour, we received a call from Spike. My husband talked to him and told him about our problem. He came out today and installed a new pump and check valve. We were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. In the future we will call him for all our plumbing needs.

We first contacted Randall and Sons by email through Angies List. It was after hours and I thought they might call me in a day or two. Less than fifteen minutes later the phone rings and it's Danny Randall, the owner. We were off to a really good start. We set a time for him to come and see what we wanted to do so he could give us an idea of what it would cost and if it made sense. That went well. We set a time a time for him to do the work. It took less than he estimated. It was a snowy day. He was careful to use the shoe protectors and not track a bunch of snow in from several trips back and forth to his truck. He was done and everything was cleaned up in half the time he had estimated. Great work from a really nice person with which to do business! If you need a plumber, this is your guy!

Randell was very punctual, pleasant and finished the job under his quote. I'll use him again.

The overall experience was excellent. I am going to be calling them back because I do have a little bit more plumbing work to do.
