Shawn Keith and the Johnson crew were amazing to work with! Shawn took the time to explain my options and to ensure that I was comfortable with my decisions. He cared about my satisfaction and came to the house to answer questions and inspect the work. The crew provided excellent service ? they were punctual, efficient, and the work was done well. I couldn?t have been more impressed with Johnson?s professionalism, customer service, and the obvious care they take in the quality of their work. I would highly recommend their services!

They were right on time, everything went smoothly and we are cool now. Shawn filled out all the paperwork we needed for the rebates and those have been mailed in.

My air conditioner stopped working, I called Johnson and they were available to come out that morning. The technician (Shawn) called ahead and arrived promptly within the provided service time frame. After inspecting the systems was notified the compressor was shot on the air conditioner and the heat exchanger on the furnace was cracked - I was looking at a new entire system. He walked me through each of his findings ensuring I understood. We discussed options, he was very knowledgeable allowing me to make an informed decision, I choose to go with a mid-range system with digital programmable thermostat that connects to my Nexia system. We setup next day installation, he informed me who would be my installers and walked me through what would occur. The installers (Jon/Daniel) called prior to arrival and were right on time. They got quickly to work. They were quiet, efficient. courteous and clean. (All technicians wear booties in the house). When completed, they walked me through work that was completed and my new thermostat - I am now enjoying my cooled house.

I was totally impressed with the professional willingness to help resolve an air conditioner malfunction. I called on Saturday, July 4 when my air conditioner was not blowing cold air. I talked with Alan and while he was on the phone, he stepped me through some very simple steps I could do to resolve the issue. His suggestions worked! There was no fee. I was so impressed I called their company to have a person give me an estimate on getting a back-up sump pump. The person that arrived was Kevin. He was very knowledgable, helpful, and clear in his explanation of the options I could choose from. Both people I have worked with have been very professional, easy to talk with, patient, and helpful. I will definitely use them again.

I have used Johnson Heating and Cooling ever since we moved here to Indy. i have worked with at least 3 other technicians and each one was courteous, efficient, punctual and knowledgeable. All of the technicians are friendly and promote customer service. Darla is the person who schedules your service and makes sure the right technician is sent to your home according to your problem. She brightens up your day with her pleasant attitude. Great customer services from all angles.

The gentleman came in a timely manner. Before he entered, he covered his feet. He studied the situation. He then put a cover on the floor and went to work. He unclogged the drain using a snake. It didn't take him very long. Afterwards, he cleaned up the area. He was informative and professional.

I had it scheduled and when the repairman called to confirm he was coming out I ended up cancelling the deal because it may have affected my unit.

I have used Johnson for several years-they put a new furnace and heat pump in a few years ago as well. They always come when they say they will-work is always well done. All service men have been excellent at what they do.

Brandon, the technician, arrived on time, explained what needed to be done, and did it in a professional way. While finishing the job, he discovered a leak in the kitchen sink that he also repaired at no extra charge.

I had got several estimates and Johnson's was very reasonable. The sales man that came out for the initial estimate was Shawn and he was great. He answered all questions that I had and was very patient with me. They are very knowledgeable in their work and they were able to match the new system to the needs of my home. They sent two crews and worked for two days and got everything in and ready to go before Christmas. They did such a good job.

I called Johnson Heating & Cooling yesterday morning to have someone install our gas logs and they were able to come out that very afternoon! Brandon was very friendly and was sure that I felt comfortable using the logs, which was very appreciated. After seeing Brandon install everything, I'm so glad we called a professional since we were dealing with the gas line. It was more money than we thought it would be, but it was worth it to have the fire going last night (rather than still in the box!) Would definitely recommend Johnson Heating & Cooling in the future!

Extremely pleased. Shawn explained my options clearly (including retaining the existing 21 year old antique, but it was clearly time). The four year same as cash option on the higher efficiency unit seemed like the best bet along with the rebates from Vectren and JC REMC. The installation team needed virtually nothing from me - they probably got tired of my checking in every couple of hours. The garage and outside area where they were working were both spotless when they left. Am pleased as anything with having selected them.

Really happy with Johnson Heating, Cooling & Plumbing once again. I had them out last year and knew that I would be in the market for a new air conditioning unit this coming summer. I had them come out to make sure that my furnace was ready for the winter. A few small issues were found that they gave me a quote on to replace but asked me about replacing the furnace also. It was at that point where I could start throwing money at it for a year or two and then replace it or look to replace it now. The next day someone came out and gave me a quote for a new furnace and air conditioning unit. They gave me a quote on 2 different units depending on some different features I may be interested in. And with that it was done. There was no pressure at all to make a decision that day, that week or this winter. They gave me my option on repair and some options on replacing and gave me my space to think and research. I really like that about Johnson - I have never felt pressured to fix or buy something I didn't understand. I made the choice a day or two later to move forward with it and they scheduled people to be out the next week. The guys showed up to go ahead and replace my units and worked hard all day to get it done. They were polite and explained what they had done when they were done. Another thing I have liked about Johnson in the past year or two while using them is they say 9 AM or 2 PM and they call when they are on the way but they are always on time. They don't say between 10 AM and 2 PM. They say 10 AM and they come at 10AM (or very close!

I purchased a water heater from them in 2011 and it started leaking. Since the water heater was under warranty, I called them to replace the water heater. They were prompt in coming but the fee was extremely high to install the new water heater. In addition they told me the water softener was the cause of the heater going out and oh by the way they could install a new water heater for $1,450.00. On top of this, they wanted me to feel like I got a discount by not charging me the trip fee to come out. After contacting another plumber regarding the water softener, come to find out the water softener is fine, thus the water heater just could have been a lemon. I just feel their prices are high and do they really know what the issue is.

My story is one of failure to follow through with work that had been arranged. My home is heated by a steam boiler, and one of the pipes has developed a severe leak, rendering it impossible to run the boiler until the pipe is replaced. At approximately the end of August 2014, I contacted Johnson Heating and Cooling (a. k. a. Griesemer Plumbing and Mechanical Service) to see if someone could please come out and replace the faulty pipe, as evening temperatures are getting cooler as the year progresses, and I don't want to be without heat. I spoke with Mike, and an appointment was made for the following Monday. I raced home from work in order to be there on time, and then waited... and waited... and waited. Nobody ever showed up. When I called, the company was already closed and I had to try back the next day. I again spoke to Mike, who apologized and explained that he was on a job that had run long and hadn't been able to make it, but we scheduled another time for that Friday. I was somewhat annoyed that he hadn't called to tell me that instead of waiting for me to call to find it out, but I agreed to the Friday appointment. I had slightly re-arranged my work schedule in order to race home again, only to have a repeat of the same situation: another no-show. I called to ask if someone was still coming, and spoke to the operator at the office, who claimed to have no appointment other than the next Monday--a time I had never set up, and that no one had ever told me about. I couldn't do that, so a new appointment was set for Tuesday. This time, Buck showed up and was punctual and professional, and was able to tell me more about my boiler in ten minutes than I had learned in my entire previous experience of living with a boiler. He said someone would call back within a day or two to arrange the repair. Nobody ever called back, so I called the office, to ask what was going on. The lady I spoke to said she would have Mike call me back shortly. Nobody ever called me back. The next day, I again spoke to the lady, who again said that Mike would call me back shortly, and again the entire day passed with no one calling me back. I let another week elapse (with no contact), and then I called Buck (the service technician who had come out to the house), who apologized and told me that Mike would call me back within a day or two. It is now two weeks from that time, and still nobody has called me back. To summarize: I have no heat in my house even though the evening temperatures have been as low as the 40's. In a span of one month, this company has had two consecutive no-shows, and then absolutely no follow up. I have no idea if someone is intending to do work at my house or not, although at this point I've given up and contacted someone else. The sheer lack of communication is like nothing I've ever experienced.
