Professional installation, the only point of contention was miscommunication on how the flashing was to be applied between the log home (movable object) and the screened porch (stationary object). Looks good, performs well and have had no apparent problems.

The initial work in 11/2011 went well however for the garage roof they had to undo the partially-completed work due to city zoning (roof limit 15' and we had it to 18' originally). This work lasted approx 3 weeks but I had a leakproof house and garage when they left at end of Oct. 2011. There were remaining unfinished tasks and there was some followup from my local rep but we planned to finish the work when weather turned in spring. Then nothing happened and my focus was on getting the solar garage functioning (a separate contractor involved here). The following October a Cornett worker came and evaluated what was needed to finish the job and he was supposed to send a reply with details. A month later nothing had come and a new customer rep contacted me from the company. A second specialist came and redid the eval for what work was remaining. From that point on it went smoothly and the company finished the gutters, fascia wrap, sun tunnel and attic fan insertions. Apparently there had been some personnel changes at the company and this complicated the status of my project. Being busy myself and having a functioning roof I did not press matters to get the job done ASAP. Anyway the April 2013 completion went well and I am satisfied with an excellent roof and gutter system with solar-electric generation on the garage roof.

We thought the warranty and product were going to be worth it. We placed the order and the materials showed up as did a team of inexperienced subcontractors. It took a long time and Cornett did not provide the team with the needed bending tools for the job (every time you get to a trough or edge it needs to be bent). We also had a leak partway through because of a storm that came through and the roof wasn’t covered. We haven’t had any problems since the installation has been completed.

They came out fairly quickly and it took one installer about a day to complete the work. The job went well. I had received 3 estimates and Cornett was in the middle; Cornett guarantees their work. They also provided an estimate on replacing the fiberglass roof above my deck. I would use them again and would recommend their service to others.

There was one issue with responsiveness on Cornett’s part due to running out of material for the roof and it took a couple weeks to get those few pieces installed and there also was one shingle that was not screwed in properly that came down. They sent a foreman out to fix this because they wanted to make sure it was done correctly. It took a few phone calls on my part to get them here as I wanted them here more more quickly. The crew that performed the installation were very hard workers and were very punctual. The team of subcontractors was very good and I found Cornett’s prices to be very competitive. I have received many compliments on the roof and it has been holding up well since. I would recommend their services to others.

He did everything he said he would do and then some. I trusted Chan Cornett and his crew and they were all very professional and worked hard. It took the team about 3 weeks to complete the work. The roof has been holding up well and I would highly recommend their services to others. I wouldn’t think of using anyone else.

It didn’t take a team of about five installers long to put the roof on. My husband liked the fact that we seemed to start a trend with our neighbors purchasing metal roofs but it seemed like ours was a higher quality metal. We have greatly enjoyed our roof and they installed a metal component that keeps the ice from sliding off in one big piece from the roof for safety purchase. What I liked about the installation is that it went on in sections instead of as one giant piece. The installation team did a great job cleaning up after themselves on a daily basis and I was comfortable having them on my property and have recommended their services to others.

I was tremendously impressed. They were very polite, the crew came to my door and introduced themselves before they started work. I was very impressed with the price and quality of work.

Ours was not an easy project. We found our dream home -a 100 year old American Four Square with a red clay tile roof in the Historic district of Newport, KY. As we are in a designated historic district, there are certain guidelines that must be adhered to. After interviewing 5 roofers, we found Cornett to be (1) the best price, (2) experts with significant experience with red clay tile, (3) the only roofer that we interviewed to be able to replicate the historic detail on our gutters AND (4) have the ability to replace the metal roof on our kitchen addition. Not only that, they worked closely with our GC and developed a metal roofing solution for the flooring on our newly designed rooftop deck. From Keith's detailed outline of the scope of work - we used his outline for our KY Heritage Council tax credit application - to Chan's (the owner's) personal attention and appearance on our job, we KNOW we could not have found a better company for this job. The roof and gutter repair was such a large component to the success of this renovation. We could not have done it without Cornett. My wife asked, why are you bothering to contact a roofer from Indiana to do a standing seam metal roof in Eastern Ohio. I told her because this was the only company that I could find that made the roof to order on site. All others came pre-cut and had the potential to be problematic on a very old house. The salesman came on time, told us we were absolutely at the eastern-most end of what he considered his territory, and what made sense travel-wise for his company. He made a very strong case about their workmanship and the quality of their product. After talking with several others who were "installers" we decided to go with Coronet. They showed up on the appointed date with 4 workers, and their machine to make the roofing panels on a large trailer. Our roof needed some structural adjustment in order to to be flat, and they were prepared to make those repairs. Indeed, they felt they had to do this in order to be able to install their roof. They made the neccessary structural changes. They put on the roof as planned. They needed to remake some edge pieces that they brought pre-made. They tried to rent a metal bender, but those available at tool rental places were inadequate to do the job. They found a metal shop in a nearby city that was able to properly bend the pieces that were needed. They installed a beautiful standing seam metal roof on our 1830s house. It took them two days. They used a magnet to pick up every minute piece of metal in our grass around the house. The roof is beautiful. They did an outstanding job. We could not have chosen a better company. They solved every problem they encountered. The workmen were knowledgeable and professional. The roof has been in place for one and a half year and it looks as if it had just been installed yesterday. The material used was thicker than most metal roofs. The coating is guaranteed not to fade. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this company based upon the work that they did at our home.

Knowing what I know now, I would have preferred that the salesman/estimater/contractor would have recommended that the slats be removed and plywood decking put down before the roofing was installed. I would have gladly paid the extra for the decking material and installation. They did not give that as an option when the project was estimated or initiated. As a result, the installed metal roofing has slight wrinkles that can be seen when looking along the face of the roofing. I was told that the wrinkles would work themselves out over time due to expansion/contraction. That has not happened to date. Also, I had a one-piece gutter system in place. There are several places where the guttering coating was scratched before I asked the contractor to use padding on their ladders when accessing the roof. The guttering was also slightly dented at least one place where a contractor employee fell off the roofing. In addition, I had three existing sky lights. The sky lights had good flashing around each sky light. When the contractor removed the cedar shakes, care was not taken in the area of the flashing, and as a result, the flashing was damaged in several locations. Also, the flashing that the contractor fashioned at the sky lights was not correctly fabricated and sealed, and had to have the contractor back to repair the defective areas. The defective fabrication and sealing was not obvious from the ground and was discovered when a leak occurred at one of the sky lights. Another issue that I have was the manufacturer (Cornett/Metal Pro Roofing) did not have a representative on site for any time at any time during the work, other than at the very start of the project, and then at the end when all work was complete by their contractor. It took a little over two weeks from start to finish for the project. I would recommend that photographs be taken before work begins, and during removal of the existing roof and installation of the new roof. I did do photography. Also had to make a trip to their corporate office to get warranty information verified and provided, and final warranty papers signed. I was able to get an insurance rate credit for the metal roofing, but had a difficult time obtaining sufficient roof rating documentation from the company to provide to my insurance provided. I must give the contractor credit in that I had landscaping around the house and they did a pretty good job protecting the plants from debris as the cedar shake roofing was removed.

Before they could start the work I had to cancel the job because I became ill and could not afford the work. They will not return my money to me even though they said I just need to send them a letter which I did.

This year was very busy for roofers. They were a little slower getting here than they originally said. There were more problems with the structure of the roof than we realized, but they took care of everything . Everyone was clean and well mannered.

They have just started the work today. I think that they would take two days for taking the old roof out and putting in a new one. I was impressed with their technology and their manufacturing facility. They were very punctual as they said that they were going to be here today and they were here.

I dealt with Martin and he was wonderful. I was very impressed with how he worked with me and how he answered all of my questions. We went back and forth for a couple of weeks and he sent me pictures. I was very impressed with him and the company. The price was higher than I anticipated. I think I would use them on my own home, but I don't plan on using them on the rental home that they were bidding on.

One Sales person sold me the roof Dec. 2010. He is no longer there. Paid 1/2 amount of cost of metal shingles and they delivered them late at night in Jan/Feb time frame. They picked them up in April. Delivered them again in June 2011, Attempted to put them on by their installer who said it couldn't be done over my roof (the way it was sold.) They took the shingles back, left my roof with paper, boards, nail and screw holes and broken lightning rods and no gutter guards. Now the pres., Chan Cornett, won't refund my payment. Says he's keeping the money for the services he provided (ruining my present roof.) Cornett/Metal Pro associates who told me I'd get a full refund are no longer there or are saying they didn't tell me that (most likely to stay in good graces with Chan.) I wouldn't have their product now under any circumstances. I can imagine actually having the roof installed and having a problem, they would be just as unprofessional (they never return calls unless things get hot.)

Cornett Roofing Cornett Roofing, did a fantastic job ! I would recommend them to the world. They were clean, neat, and courteous. Came with all their equipment, then took all their stuff away, disposed of all the waste. I couldn't ask for anything better. When they got to our place, they said they didn't bring the right seam for the edging. So. they went out and rented a machine so they could make it fit my roof. They made it fit, and it was wonderful. They also straighten out a part, so now the roof slopes down perfectly straight. Their price was lower than 3 other companies, and they even came from Indiana to Ohio to do the job. Used quality products.

They were terrific. Very professional, very very clean, nothing laying around even while they were working. Our young grandchildren were visiting us the entire time the workers were at the house----the workers were very nice, friendly to the grandchildren they arrived to work at the time they told us they would be there------couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Cornett Roofing came out and actually went into the attic space and found where the water was coming in. They fixed the 2 areas the same day . Excellent company to work with.

I scheduled a roofing estimate with Cornett. The salesman showed up and took over 2 hours of my time and then informed me at the end of the visit that he would need to return yet another day to give me an actual estimate. I actually took time off from my consulting job and lost money on this. He never followed up and I never received a bid. Appromximately THREE weeks later, I received another call from Alicia (who was very pleasant) to schedule another sales meeting. I informed her of my unsatisfactory experience and she vowed to have someone contact me right away with a bid. I did receive a call from a gentleman who promised to come out on a specific date and he never showed. Several WEEKS later I received another call from Alicia to set up yet another appointment. I had to remind her that I'd been through this a couple of times already and no one ever shows, and my experience had been very poor. She apologized again and promised someone would show up. A THIRD no-show took place. My experience with this company has been awful. I would never use them for fear that if they can't even show up to give me a bid, they'd never show up to do the work.

At first the salesman, who is no longer their, gave me an estimate but did not be specific about the work to be done. I had to clarify that with the home office. They were willing to work with me on having someone else do the battens, but that fell through and they ended up doing the whole thing. They were very professional and respective of me while they worked and completed the job then cleaned up all the little metal pieces which were on the ground etc. The product is thicker and stronger than all the other metal roofs. They came with a machine and extruded each metal chanel and they locked together and did not have any roofing nails in the channel which over time would have caused leakes. They roof has a very long guarantee against material for any leaks.

I just had my new all metal Cornett Roof/All Metal Pro Roof installed. I would like to let you know how very pleased and 100% satisfied I am with the system and workmanship. The Cornett roof company came to my house with the only portable roof extruder in Indiana and made all the necessary panels for the workman to install. Just like the ?seamless? guttering system the panels are one continuous sheet and there is absolutely no way any water will ever be able to enter through the system. The Cornett roof was installed on top of my older metal roof which was leaking from nails creeping up. There was no need for a tear down of the told roof. In fact, Cornett gave me some extra support on my trusses at my request even though they didn't need it. Cornett roofing company was prompt, efficient, and thorough in their installation. I watched their work and they were attentive to every detail and if there were any questions they didn't hesitate to ask me for advice. After they completed their work they cleaned up ALL the little pieces of metal and all their trash as well as the extra trash from taking down my old gutters. I had another company give me an estimate to do the same job and and they said they could not even come close to what Cornett was charging by several thousands of dollars simply because Cornett has their own extruder machine and that eliminates the manufacturers cost. I will recommend Cornett Roofing to anyone who needs a roof and I plan on using this company in the future for other houses. -Cornet replaced the underlayment and fascia boards as necessary to correct any rotted woods at edging and the leak point (attic access to underside of roof for inspection). -Installed Synthetic Underlayment over entire roof along with roof-to-wall flashing, chimney flashing, and valley metal. Cut and installed FULL ridge vent on both peaks of our house. - Ran 2x2's as mounting grid for entire house. - Also installed gutter guards around entire house. We are very happy with the work that was performed. Roof went up VERY quickly and most of the work was done within a few days.
