Excellent workmanship. The stain matched perfectly. Tightened all hardware on the chair. Job was completed sooner than promised.

We were very happy with the job. Most of the items were damaged on top only. The finish was matched perfectly to the rest of the item. They did a beautiful job on items that were completely refinished.

The did a wonderful job from start to finish. We called them on during the week to get an estimate and they were able to pick up the pieces from us that Saturday. Once they had one of the chairs stripped and reglued they called us to come select a stain, finish and fabric for the chair seats. They told me I probably would cry when I see the final product. I held back tears while they were hear but in the end I did cry. Words can not describe how beautiful everything turned out. This set was a mix from my mom's side of the family and dad's side of the family. I have never seen these chairs in working order in my lifetime and the table and buffet was just plan worn out. Each of my siblings feels the same way and it was great to show it off for Christmas.

We are very very pleased, and they are currently working on another thing for us. They are nice, friendly, and they are great workers. They are phenomenal and we would refer anyone to them. What they have done looks excellent. They are very pleasant. Their estimate was given up front.

They were done on time and they had a very reasonable price. The finished product was very good. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

He looked at the chairs and gave me the cost, and he stuck to that. I called two days before the date he said they would be ready, just to check. He was already done! It was nice to find somebody who did good work!

We took a name brand, solid wood night stand to Village Strippersmith for repair. The nightstand had become wobbly and pieces had started to separate. The original manufacturer had used only staples to hold the nightstand together. Matt glued and nailed all the pieces together. He even cut out a new wooden back to use instead of the original cardboard piece. The night stand is completely sturdy now. Matt was extremely courteous and did a great job!

When I called Matt, he scheduled a pick up time for a few days later. He picked my table up on a Tuesday and returned it on Saturday. Other companies told me if would take 6 weeks. When Matt picked up the table, he looked around at my other furniture and asked if I would like the table darker. I was so happy he did because I really had not thought about it. I was thrilled! The table looked better than when I bought it and it matched the other pieces in my home. He did a fantastic job! I love it and I have had many compliments from people that remember what it looked like before.

My father recently passed away, and the top of his dresser was badly in need of refinishing. Due to his Parkinson's Disease he had become rather clumsy and had spilled many things on it. Matt Miller was willing to pick up the dresser from my father's assisted living apartment (even though it was out of his normal service area), refinish the top, and deliver to me at my home. He also cleaned up the entire piece even though we had not asked for that. There was no extra charge for this. He did a superb job and was very pleasant to deal with. I would recommended him highly.

Matt did a great job stripping and refinishing my dining room table and chairs. He was very friendly and finished the work as promised in time for Christmas. I would definitely recommend him to others.

He was prompt in returning my email but he wouldn't be available until mid January. I sent another email asking if we could get an estimate and he never emailed me back.

I took in a small hallway bench that had at some point been part of a corner table and chairs. The seat of the bench lifts for storage. The bench was painted white and was really not very well made. But I called and talked to Matt, and he said they would see what they could do. I took it in and he was honest in telling me what he thought they might be able to do for refinishing. I went ahead and left it, and they stripped it, sanded it, and stained it a cherry color. The color wasn't exactly what I wanted, but given the grain and the condition, it was pretty good. That was about a year ago, and I have received many compliments on the bench and how good it looks- people who saw it before the refinishing cannot believe it is the same piece. Although I could have bought a new piece for the area, I like the story of the "rescued" bench and it's transformation- and the finish still looks awesome. I appreciated that they took my project seriously, despite it being a small job.

Great experience. He's a young guy, tremendously experienced, fully committed to his business. We felt very comfortable letting him decide on the finish, the nails, and other choices. He hit his time commitment and the price, and the quality was EXQUISITE!

The owner was great. I brought in some unfinished finials that I had ordered via the Internet. They needed to be cut to match the size of the existing finials, then be refinished, and fit with dowels so that they would fit where the old ones had been. It only took him a week, and he called me when the job was done. They look fabulous on the bed. You'd never know they were replacements!

Made a ''sows ear'' look like a ''silk purse''. This table was from circa 1880's. It had been in my parents basement for over 20 years and had water damage that just looked bad. Four weeks later I had a table that looked brand new and I can proudly display it in our living room at home. Great workmanship!!

Work done was EXCELLENT. They refinished the top of my antique pecan dining room table. They threw in the sides for free. The estimate was $450. The work was done for the same. This was right in the middle of multiple estimates I got. They picked up and dropped of the table for free. They were right on time, and did great quality work. I would definitely recommend their work.

I had a very pleasant experience working with Matt on a split leg for a dining room chair. He glued it and put a screw in and hid that with a wood plug. The chair was painted to look 'distressed' so the work was easily hidden and it didn't require any restaining. The job was quick and painless for me and the price was perfect. I would recommend him to anyone!
