It went pretty good. Some of the siding in the back of the house did not meet together and there is a space showing. Also a small vent flap was missing on the front window. They were supposed to come out and install the vent flap when they had to replace 2 windows due to vandalism, but they did not .

I discovered Springer Construction at the Home and Garden Show in Fort Wayne. I was impressed with their presentation of services and follow up. They quoted the job and were very competitive with other companies. They did a terrific job on the roof and clean up. Hand delivered our warranty and went over the details. Also gave a thank you goodie basket. Very nice touch! Would recommend!!

Everything went very good. The windows look great and the vinyl stone was a nice touch to this home. They were very courtous and very professional. I felt their price was just right for this work.

The person didn't seem very knowledgeable about what he was doing and he never followed-up on the quote to see if I had questions or anything.

They did a great job. I wanted a complete tear-out of the old shower and tub units as I had fears of hidden water damage. Springer Construction was the only company we talked to at the Indy Patio and Garden show that wasn't trying to just sell us bath and shower inserts. Duane worked with us on the price to help us stay within what we had budgeted for the job. The replacement units are high quality and very well constructed (Diamond brand). His two craftsmen were courteous and worked hard to ensure our satisfaction, and to inconvenience us as little as possible. At the end of each day, we always had at least one bathroom usable. There was a one day delay in the start of the job as the new tub had a factory flaw that was discovered when the unit was unpacked at Springer Construction. They called us when the discovery was made (Saturday morning) and apologized that it would cause a delay as they couldn't get a replacement unit until Monday morning. They arrived on schedule Tuesday morning. The work performed was first class, and Duane's craftsmen were very professional and courteous at all times. They kept me informed of any difficulties that were encountered. The finished bathrooms look great and we are completely satisfied. Additionally, we have contracted again with Springer Construction for roofing replacement / repairs due to damage from a recent hail storm.

Received an estimate from Springer on several windows. Their price was competitive but slightly more than others. I felt more comfortable with another company. I would recommend Springer to others depending on their needs.

Owner installers did what they promised worked very hard. Respectful. Would highly recommend. Old fashioned work ethic.

Duane, owner of SCI, met with us to give us an esitmate. We had a leaking soffit and Duane told us the roof was the problem. I put in new and additional soffit vents before SCI installed the new roof. The crew SCI sub-contracted with showed up Monday, 6/18 on time and started to work. I realized the things Duane told me wasn't passed on to the subs (remove all old gutters and replace all or only bad sections of plywood as they felt necessary once both layers of shingles were removed). I explained the plywood replacement was up to their judgement. They thought it was a total replacement. We have a tri-level house and all new ABS plywood was put on the second story and only 8 sheets were replaced on the first story. The crew started clearing the shingles and when one section was cleared, they started shingling while other sections were being cleared. The crew worked like a well oiled team. Everyone knew their job and worked together to get the job done in one day. At one point there was nothing but the sound of 5 nail guns in action. Before the old roof was removed, Dan Rupp of Rainbow Spouting, Inc showed up to see what we had for gutters. He had been sub-contracted by SCI to handle the guttering part of the job. I told him some changes I wanted to the downspouts and we picked out colors to match the house. After the roof was finished, Dan showed up about a week later to put on new seamless gutters and the job turned out great and completed in about 3 hours. I took the day off to watch the roofing and reset a breaker. I was home when Dan started, but left for work before he finished. The total job was completed just before the big storm hit Fort Wayne on 6/28. That day as I drove across town from work, I noticed more and more roofs that had lost shingles and was hoping my new roof was still intact. I was quite relieved to see nothing out of the ordinary and in fact Duane's SCI sign was still stuck in the front yard. Also, no more soffit leaks.

They delivered everything they said they would and completed the project within the time frame they estimated. They custom built very high end, energy efficient windows with a 30 year warranty. Their personnel were all very courteous and professional.

Arrived lat without a phone call but owner told us it was his fault because of an errand they had to do for him. Worked consistently, wasted no time. Left a little mess but not bad. Didn't finish trim work around windows.

Called and meet person in charge and put down payment (half) and they showed up on time and finished the job in the same day. They did a good job and the strong wind in the area didn't';t damage it (90 mi/hr). Only thing is there was a lot of nails around the house although they picked most of them and the roof was close to 3800 sq ft.

Overall it could have went really well if I was given the deal that was agreed, however due to the wording of the contract I didn't get what I bargained for. I was quoted 13,000 for new windows throughout my house. When I asked him why he was so much higher than Windows Doors and More He explained his quality was so much better than theirs. When I agreed to buy the windows I told him I also needed doors installed and if he could help me out. He agreed to give me two of his guys at 47 dollars an hour. Unfortunately, what he meant was two guys at 47 dollars an hour EACH! This is not a deal at all actually and quite a rip off if you ask me. I had them install doors that home depot would have installed for free for 940 dollars! And because I didn't know at this point I was getting ripped off I had them back two more times working on odds and ends throughout my house racking up another 1880 when what I had them doing was light easy work thinking I was getting a deal! I also foolishly gave him a opportunity to put a hip roof on my front porch which he ripped me off on too. I told him I was quoted at 2000 and I buy materials. He calls me and says he can do it for 2200. I figure that's with materials. Then charges me 2200 and wants another 800 for materials which he never even offered to give me the receipt! AND has the audacity to tell me has not making ANY MONEY ON THE DEAL!!! Don't give any work to this scam artist or you will find your bill to be much higher than what you bargained for!

They arrived 3 hours late for which the owner apologized when he found out and said it was his fault, but I never received a call that they would be late. Windows were installed efficiently although I did have to sweep and vacuum after they left.

everything went as well as one could ask for. dan and dave were outstanding and they worked on a saturday which we appreciated.everyone we dealt with was TOP NOTCH

Dan and Dave worked well as a team. They arrived a 1/2 hr early. They made sure everything looked right. They were very knowledgeable about their trade. I'm glad we used springer const.

We had them give a quote on putting windows on our enclosed porch. They came out on time and provided us with information and an estimate. There was no pressure to purchase anything. We are the beginning phase of gettng estimates for several projects. We are not ready to make a decision until we get several quotes and explore our options. I think the gentleman's name was Duane who came out and he truly got where we were in the process. I felt comfortable talking to him. When I explained we were not in a postion to make a decision yet he understood and did not pressure us at all. He has made one follow up phone call but again no pressure. His approach is so sincere unlike Unique Windows who used so much pressure. Unique tried to guilt us in to buying windows and had no respect for our situation and need to research the options.

We contacted Universal Windows via the internet and they were very quick to responds to our inquiry. We explained the complete job that we wanted done (installation of a basement egress window where one did not currently exist requiring cutting of the concrete wall, digging the a hole for the exterior well, finishing of the interior drywall) and they set up a visit by their owner so he could provide us an estimate. We received a phone call the day before the planned visit confirming the appointment, which was 6:00 PM the following evening. The day of the appointment there were heavy storms in the area, but by that evening, the rain had stopped. 6:00 PM came and went and no contractor. I waited at home all evening but no one ever showed up or called. The next day I received a voice mail explaining that the company's owner could not make our appointment because of the storms, however I think that a phone call on the night of the scheduled appointment would have been reasonable. This company did attempt to reschedule out appointment a week later, but by that time we had selected a contractor for this job. I am disappointed that this company did not perform as expected, based on the favorable reviews on Angie's List and their prompt response up to the day of our appointment.

They install our windows in the middle of winter. It went very quick for they installed 9 windows.And before they left they made sure we properly knew how to use the security features .

The team arrived on schedule. All the workers were neatly dressed, courteous, and professional. They worked hard all day long, with no breaks - not even for lunch. They did not play loud music or litter my yard with cigarette butts as some other outfits have done. When the work was done, they performed all clean-up. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of their work, and plan to engage them for future renovation projects.

They made sure I got the color and type that I wanted they were so attenative to the little details. They replaced a back door and had to rebuild everything in the frame. They also installed a large window in the family room that looks amazing. They were professional and on time. The great thing was that everyone knew what they were doing. They went above and beyond any expectiation i could have had. I actually received other estimates that would have cost more and would not have done as much work.

They were great. They had a very competitive price. He did an excellent design job. He was very personable in terms of meeting our needs.
