Everything was good--service, courtesy. They were an "A". I would recommend them for anyone.

I needed to have the permit pulled to have gas line pressure tested for the gas company to have a meter set (re-installed). Our gas lines didn't hold pressure but for less than 5 minutes. Come to find out, we had more than 7 leaks in our lines! The cost for repairing was going to be more expensive than replacing all of it (since we didn't have much line in the first place). It did help that we live VERY close to their office, he left and got pipes, came back, installed, did pressure test and even left it there over weekend. Monday morning, city came out and did its check and we passed our inspection! Nipsco set the meter and we were ready! Rest of the story is that more than 3 years ago our gas bill was over $800 for one month. We couldn't afford to pay it. We were disconnected and we heated other ways for a couple years. Nipsco repo'd the meter and you have to pay big to get it turned back on and have a meter set. Over this record setting winter, with lots of snow, wind chills of -40 for several days... Our most expensive bill for this winter was still under $350!!! A huge thank-you and an excellent review is what I want to give to these excellent guys! I am in fact, I'm calling these guys again (right now) to come back out, fix my AC and run a new wire to my thermostat so I can run the new Honeywell Smart Learning WiFi unit!

They have been most professional and if I ever had a problem on a weekend, they were also available and punctual. I would highly recommend them.

My furnace stopped working on one of the coldest days this winter. I woke up to a cold house and needed help. I called several places looking to get a fast appointment. Which turns out is not going to happen when you start calling around 10AM. Rolf Griffin was one of the companies I called to get an appointment. They were going to take about 4-6 hours to get a technician out to me. I had called other places as well and they were going to be just as long or longer. So I scheduled the appt. with Rolf Griffin because of the high rating and the coupon on this site. It turns out that Rolf Griffin could work on my furnace but they discovered BEFORE they came out, that they do not stock the parts for Mobile Home Furnaces. Rather than waiting for the technician to come out, look at the furnace and charge me the service fee they instead gave me a call back and passed me a number for a technician that specializes in Mobile Homes. The company they recommended was able to fit me in 20 MINUTES later and had the call, part and installation done in less than an hour. I very much appreciate the customer service and information Rolf Griffin gave so I could get my heat working so fast. Turned out the problem was the ignition switch. The part was on the recommended contractors truck and cost 175 to replace. If they are on here I will review them separately.

I called Rolf Griffin (Labor Day) to report my A/C was not providing cool air. Within a very short time the on call service technician called to give me an approximate arrival time. The technician arrived within the time window he had given me. Within about 15 minuets the A/C was going again. The tech closed up the system, filled out his paperwork and verified the house temperature was coming down. I was very satisfied with the work performed. Since I am a Platinum Plus customer, there was no charge for the service or service call.

They went above and beyond the service call.

I have maintenance agreements on my furnace, air conditioner, air cleaner and humidifier. Service Experts come twice a year for routine maintenance. This time they found the original a/c capacitor needed replaced. I agreed and they installed it right then. I received a loyal customer discount and did not have to pay a trip charge since they were already there. I have been a customer with Service Experts for over 15 years and have received excellent service since day 1.

They were very polite and professional. They did an excellent job.

After finalizing the paperwork on a Friday, the servicemen installed the air conditioner the following Tuesday. The servicemen were prompt, professional and even covered the carpet.

The workers were very careful, courteous and worked very hard. They did everything they said they would. This winter the furnace stopped working on a cold day. I was disturbed that the furnace would stop working so soon, but was impressed they were able to come out at 3 in the morning to look at it . The technician had to order the part and he came back the next afternoon to get the part installed. The furnace continued to work throughout the winter.

they were WAY too expensive! did not use them

I have a service contract with these people that has found problems before they became major. It has been worth it. I was busy and did not watch the repair. He told me that some capacitors were shot and needed replacing. Told him to go ahead and do it. He also checked coolant levels and gave the unit the once over. To get him out there was $84, the remaining $148 was to install the caps. While that seems high for the parts, some high power capacitors can be quite pricey. Also have to take into account the half hour it took to install them. The fact they did not catch the failing caps earlier can be excused. They can go out just like a light bulb. Considering the original caps were 30 years old, I think I got my money's worth out of them All in all, I give them a A.

We had the most professional gentleman come to our home. He walked around the whole house with my husband and explained everything to him in terms we could understand.

The service has been okay. They came out late one night in the middle of the summer when our air conditioner went down, I thought that was great. The professionalism has always been great.

The service has been excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We have used them for over 20 years and they have always been excellent.

When they finally figured out what was wrong they fixed it. They did a good job. They stuck with it until they figured out what was wrong.

They and their service techs are competent.

It's been a few years ago when their service person came to fix the air conditioner. Wanted to do a lot to it but my bother appeared and found only a small fix was necessary. However, when my brother left, the service person unfortunately talked me into a service contract that was a big mistake. A lot of expense for nothing.

They did a great job, showed up on time, installation lasted less time than projected. Helped us with tax credit forms and rebates, very good experience overall and I would highly recommend them.

They have nice workers. I would use them again.

Tony was so thoughtful. Wore "boots" to protect my carpets. Moved some furniture and everything was put back exactly in the same spots when he was done. He never took a break and this all took over 6 hours. I have 14 floor vents. He removed return ducts up high; some were difficult to get off due to painting over them. But everything is now clean. Tony showed me what he got out of the house vents. Ugh! Glad I had this done. The reason I used Service Experts is because they go into the furnace to pull out the dust from the vents, they know how to handle the furnace. Other duct cleaners who do not work on furnaces could damage the furnace while doing this. Very pleased.

Overall it went well. I have no major complaints. I was surprised they were able to do everything in one day. They were done by the early afternoon. We were pretty happy with what they did.

They had not done here so well. We had to sign a contract. They called in to give a spring tune up but I was not there so I did not call them back but I did pay them for it. They sent me a letter to review the contract but since they owe me one, I did not sign it. They were good. They were a well-known company. They knew what they were going. They hired well-qualified people. They certainly had an active reminder program where they made sure that they took care of my system regularly. I thought their contracting was a little heavy handled but I guess it was their business model and it worked for them. I meant we had to pay for the whole year at one time at least and that was $180 at least and that seemed a lot, probably better to charge for each one. They liked to charge for the whole year at one time. They called me to come back in spring because I paid for that in the fall, I paid for the whole year. I was not there so I did not call them back. They did send me a letter to renew the contract. That was a good idea but if they only were affordable. I was not there to let them in, so I could not really take care of that. I did not know why they sent me another contract.

The coupon for $50.00 off any repair, apparently only counts against replacement parts.......? They did not take my coupon, since no parts were replaced.My only gripe, is with the duct cleaning estimate. With 22 openings, I was quoted over $800. That is double what others are charging.

They are very good. The overall experience was excellent. The price and quality were excellent. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. I would use this provider again.
