Description of Work: Replaced our aging HVAC system with a new Trane HVAC. We had quotes from four providers of which three quoted Trane and one quoted a competitors system. Masters was the lowest bid of the three Trane quotes for exactly the same Trane HVAC system. The other bid was $2000 higher. | |The only issue we has was getting the $100 referal for a friend that refered us to Masters. One call took care of it.

Description of Work: I was having issues with my furnace continuing to start to run then shut off so the house would never really heat up. I had Master's come out the next day with no problems at all and they took care of the problem. The service tech was great, very courteous and professional. The reason for the higher cost was that I opted to purchase a program they had running which would service my AC and my furnace. Excellent deal!!

Description of Work: I was very satisfied when Master's put in a geothermal furnace with the unit in my garage years ago. This spring I scraped the pipes from the installation and water came bursting out. I did not have a service contract with Master's but they had a repair man out within an hour of my telephone call. He did enough to let me turn my house water back on and also the furnace/air conditioning itself (but not the connection to my water heater.) They scheduled the final repair with new copper fittings for the next week; however, they fit me in two days after the initial repair because they had already procured the parts needed and the repair man had some time available. He took the time to give me very good advice on maintaining the system as well, advice which took him into my attic.

 + 0 moreIt was all excellent. I highly recommend them. They even vacuumed my attic, where they did some duct work. They were very professional and reasonably priced. We also called them, because we needed to replace our sump pump. We had their plumbing division replace the sump pump. That division was very professional and excellent, as well.
Description of Work: We had our entire HVAC system replaced, which included two furnaces, two heat pumps, a humidifier, two air cleaners, and a hot water heater.

 + -1 moreThey took 3 or 4 days to complete the install and there was a clog issue occur in plumbing lines during the process. They did take care of that but it created some damage to the geothermal unit. It ended up being a longer process than anticipated. When the gentleman gave us a quote he indicated there was a credit from the electric co-op but that didn't end up applying. I followed up with the electric co-op and they indicated that the HVAC company should have known and shared the difference between which service did and did not qualify. Ultimately they installed properly and cleaned up the problems as they arose, but it was timely.
Description of Work: We hired them to install geothermal in the house.

 + -1 moreEverything was good and it went well. I am pretty happy. They came out and quoted us a price and showed up quickly to do that. We called them back within a week and they came back to take the final measurements. We talked about an install date and they were able to come back just a few days later and get it installed. We called them back on a Monday and they came back Thursday, Friday and finished up on Saturday morning because they ran into some problems, but that was no big deal. I was really with the extra effort they went through to get the furnace in, especially because we were out of air conditioning.
Description of Work: Masters Heating & Cooling put n a new furnace. We put in a geothermal unit.

They did precisely what they said they would do for the price that they said they would. The price for all of the work seemed to be fair. I will certainly call them back in the future.

 + -1 moreIt went very well. The appointment was set exactly as the salesman (owner) said it would be. The customer service staff were pleasant and courteous. The technicians arrived on time. They were courteous, clean and knowledgeable about the work. I came home at noon to check on the progress and they were working not loafing. At the end of the day when the work was done they cleaned up without a trace left behind and they educated me on my new programmable thermostat. They set it to my needs while walking through the process. Very happy. I had interviewed 5 companies the year before for the job and Masters was not only the most reasonably priced but also matched my needs and did not try to oversell for my needs.
Description of Work: On 04/08 they installed a new energy efficient Trane furnace and air conditioner to replace my original 30+ yr old equipment.

 + -1 moreWorking with Master's was a wonderful experience. We had two different estimates done and the actual work took two and a half days. Each visit they were prompt and hardworking. The work was originally supposed to only take two days, but they came back on Saturday morning to finish up. They took time to explain each and every thing they were doing to make sure we were fully aware of everything that was going on. They cleaned up everything that had to be ripped out of the house and hauled it away. I would easily hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: We have a bi-yearly service contract with them. They come out and inspect both the heater and the stand alone air conditioner that heats and cools our 2100 square foot home. They replace the filters, clean the ducts, and ensure everything is running properly. Large part replacements cost extra.
