Just a bunch of great guys. Went far beyond what we hired them to do. We were having problems with some other jobs being done at the same time. He offered to help with the other workers flaws. Just wanted to help us. Our deck people were not pros, like the masonry guys. In fact, our deck will have to be done by someone else, not the ones that started it. Just didn't know what they were doing.(Student Painters). No guidance. Nice boys, but lacked training.

I was very satisfied with the work Ken did for me. He was punctual, stayed right with the job, and completed the work within a couple of days. His prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend Masoner and Son!

I called Ken a year ago to get a quote on bricking up a former exterior door that the previous owners had cut through the side of out 1880s brick house. He gave me a rough quote after looking at the scope of the work. A year later I was finally ready to have the work done. I called him and he was able to fit me in within a week or so. He toothed out the previous cut bricks so the new ones matched up to the pattern. He even had to cut down every third row of replacement bricks to match the old school style of super thin mortar joints. He then finished up by cutting out the bad bricks at toher places around the house and installing replacements. The cleanup was great and he honored the old quote price from a year ago. I highly recommend him!

I called Ken and made an appointment. He was very accommodating about my work schedule and was able to meet with me after work. He was on time and asked what work I need done. He looked at the chimney and told me that I also had quite a few bricks that were cracked and should be replaced. Ken was very detailed in explaining what was needed to get the chimney back to where I wanted it to be. He than asked if he could email me a quote. I was fine with that. I had a quote that night. The job was scheduled and Ken walked me through what was going to take place. The job was completed while I was at work. It took two days to complete. On the last day, Ken was just finishing up as I got home. We review the results together and I was really please at the out come. The chimney looked really good. Ken did have one concern about the weather and the sealer that was put on. With tropical storm Issac coming up, it was forecasted that our area are would get 2 to 3 inches of rain. Ken said that he would be back at the beginning of the next week to re seal the chimney. Well we didn't get very much rain, but Ken came out anyways and re sealed the chimney. I was very pleased with Ken and the work that his company did. I would recommend this company with out a doubt and would use them in the future.

I called them and another company for estimates on Monday morning, got both estimates Monday afternoon, Masoner was $150 lower, gave them the job Monday afternoon, emailed a work order to me, signed, and emailed back. They started work Tuesday morning and had to scramble to find replacement bricks that matched the odd bricking already on the chimney. They removed all the bad material and put up the new bricks. Wednesday, they replaced the upper flue and poured the cap. Thursday morning, they removed the cap forms and cleaned up. We paid them and it was done. Very painless and very professional. Looks good !!! I need to paint it to match the rest of the painted chimney as soon as it cures a bit. Very easy to work with and very personable.

Work was done in a professional manner with great cleanup. Will use them again.

Our fifty year old chimney needed to have a mortar cap replaced. After not receiving responses from several contractors we contacted I called this company to see if they would be interested in giving us a bid. Not only did Ken answer all my questions professionally, he was able to come that evening, look at the job and email me an estimate that evening. We were very pleased with his bid and due to a lull in his schedule he was able to fit our job in almost immediately. He and his crew were punctual, informative and very professional. They kept me informed and let me know that we would need some additional repairs to an exhaust boot. He told me exactly what he did, and what we would need to do in the future. When I could not contact my roofer to fix the vent in a timely manner, Ken returned and repaired it for me at a very reasonable cost. He showed me the defective boot and explained exactly what he did and charged me less than he had quoted because the job went quickly. I recommend him without question.

He did an excellent job of reviewing and defining the job to be done after examination of chimney. Followed up and did exactly as he proposed and completed sooner than expected due to delay of beginning of another job. Brickwork is becoming an extinct service so not many bricklayers left. Glad to see we still have a good one in Fort Wayne, IN..

He came out and gave me a bid which I accepted but has not performed the work yet. He was very straight forward and it was very convenient for me because he just e-mailed the bid. I was able to view him, pick him, compare him, and fax him back; I never got out of my chair.

I would recommend them for any masonry repair needed to be done. They charged me $450. They just did a great job for me. They are really nice people. If I need to, I would use them again in the future.

Great work, on time, fair price. Will use these guys again for sure when I rebuild my chimney.

The job went quite quickly. Scaffolding surrounded the chimney for several days as they did not work on it every day, but it was never an inconvenience. The lawn was left undamaged.

I called Ken Masoner and he came out to give me an estimate. He was very detailed and explained exactly what would be done and what that would cost. He emailed a proposal, showed up at the time he stated he would (even though his work is somewhat weather dependent) and charged exactly what he said he would. He did an excellent job and was very professional and easy going. I recommend Ken and his company without qualification.

Masoner & Sons was middle of road bid, started promptly at agreed upon time and finished earlier than I expected. Very professional with quality work. Neighbors have already asked for a bid after seeing finished results. I highly recommend and will use in the future if needed.

Father and son team who were very professional and courteous. When extra work was needed to do the job correctly, they did not try to jack up the price. Excellent work, friendly and prompt.
