Kim did a wonderful job working with the insurance company and making sure what we did was covered. They were easy to work with and did quality work.

They did a great job. Barry was very professional and thorough in developing the estimate and recommending options and alternatives. We were concerned with the tear-off process and possible damage to landscaping, etc. They were immaculate. The amount of debris that came off the roof and did not go directly into the dumpster was miniscule. We had no damage to landscaping and no need to do a follow-up to their cleanup at all. We did have a deadline and the weather set the schedule back a bit. However, they showed up on a weekend to finish the job in time. All-in-all, it was a very satisfying experience. We would definitely use them again.

We called on Saturday for a quote and was happy to hear that they would be able to come out before we left for our vacation that day (even though they were extremely busy with all the damage in the area from the previous day's storm). The company we used last time said they wouldn't come out until Monday. Anyways, Barry and another gentleman came out for the quote and looked at the roof. He quoted us a price and said they wouldn't be able to do the work that day, but would seal up the damaged spots and do the work during the first part of the next week. We had extra shingles, so they used those shingles to do the repair. When we got back from vacation on Wednesday, the work had been completed. The invoice was mailed the next week and we felt the cost was reasonable. They also let me take the Angie's List discount after the invoice was sent. We are happy with the work thus far and would recommend them.

They were good with their work, they did what they needed to do 100%.

They were knowledgeable and could do the repair that we wanted. They offered a very quote for the job. It did take them a little while to get out to our home, but I understand that because of weather and scheduling. I am considering using their services in the future.

The overall experience was excellent. The price and quality were excellent. I felt like I got good quality for the price I paid. They did a good job. They were busy but they worked around the weather, and got the job done. We had snow on the roof, and given what they had to work around I would have to give them a top notch grade for punctuality. They were professional. I would use this provider again.

They are very professional. They covered the driveway with wood so that the dumpster did not harm the driveway.

It was a very professional company to work with. I had several conversations with the owner prior to the start of the job. He came out to the house and inspected the job before giving a written estimate which he followed up with a phone call. The job was started within two weeks and finished in 2 days.

Called for an estimate on a tear-off and re-shingle of my roof. It was nearly two weeks before I got a response. When Mr. Williams showed up, he gave a very detailed and competitive estimate. He did a great job of explaining what he found and what his recommendations were. Other than the slow response, I enjoyed my experience with this contractor and will definitely consider him for future work.

In Sept. 2011, which was five and a half years after the original installation of the shingles, I noticed water stains on the ceiling after a hard rain. I checked the spot and found that it was wet to the touch. I called A&B Construction to report the problem. They sent two workers out the same day to check on it. They could not determine for sure what caused the leak, but made a minor repair (sealing around a nail) and told me to watch to see if that fixed the problem. (Roofing leaks can be very hard to trace.) The minor repair didn't work. The next rain resulted in the same spot getting wet again. I called A&B to let them know. This time, the owner, Barry, came out himself on the same day I called. He went up on the roof and found what he believed to be the problem - a leak around one of the two skylights in the roof. He sent his crew out to completely seal both skylights, even though only one was leaking. When we had the next hard rain it was apparent that the skylight had indeed been the source of the leak. There was no more leak - the ceiling remained dry. I don't believe the leak was in any way caused by improper work during the A&B's original shingle installation. By this time, the home was 23 years old and I think the skylight structure was showing signs of age. (I think skylights are a common source of roof leaks.) By completely resealing both skylights, A&B did more than just fix the leak - they did preventive maintenance to guard against future leaks around the aging skylights. I consider this going above and beyond their obligation under the terms of the warranty. A&B corrected this problem under warranty with no charge to me. I was very pleased with how quickly they responded, and I appreciated the fact that Barry himself got involved in determining the cause of the leak. I highly recommend this company, based on the quality of their original work in 2006, and just as importantly, for their service after the sale.

It was a positive experience. I had never done business with them before. I called and they said that they would send someone out even though there was nobody here. They sent somebody out who climbed up on our roof and fixed the leak, and then they sent me a bill. The roof hasn't leaked since.

They were prompt and took care of everything. The work seemed to be done fine. They were straightforward. They completed the job within an hour. They did not come up with anything new for me to do and stuck to the original job. They were good at answering all my questions. They were very responsive. They showed up when they said they would. The manager and supervisor came over and inspected the work that his workers were doing. It was pretty professionally done. I would use their services in the future also.

The price was very reasonable. They were very professional and they responded immediately. They gave us a very good quote as far as being detailed. We scheduled the work and they came out right away. We would absolutely use them again.

They were nice and seemed professional. They quoted $9800 for doing the full roof. They wanted the job and sounded like they have some of the top-notch quality people working for them. They talked about how they would clean up the site afterwards. They showed up on time for their appointment with me. The price was just out of my range and I found somebody who did it a lot cheaper. They were very quick to respond. I would consider them for a quote for another project in the future.

Called and was told by the owner (who is very nice) that someone would be by to give an estimate as soon as a spot opened up, but probably not until tomorrow. Service provider showed up almost immediately because he was in the area, and did the work on the spot. Very nice, courteous and helpful in advising me where there might be problem areas in the future. I was very happy and impressed! I will definitely use them again!

They gave me a quote, and when I called they came out the next day. Two crews came out to do the work, and I think it went well. The shingles were fixed within an hour, and the quote was accurate.

I contacted them. They set up a time that was convenient. I didn't have to be there. We happened to be out and got home when they were finishing. They sent us the bill. Everything seems to be fine from what I can tell. They did a really good job getting all the leaves out. We have a very wooded lot and all of the leaves were down. I'm not sure what they did with the leaves, but they weren't around the house. They cleaned up well around the house. Some of the leaves they may have put in the woods, but I told them that was ok. There price is probably average for the size of the house. They had to have tall ladders and go all the way around.

Everything went well. The repairman came out to my house right on time and spent quite a bit of time checking all areas of the roof for loose/damaged shingles. I visually checked the roof from the ground and it looked like he did a very thorough job. I have a very steep roof. There have been several very windy storms since then and the roof still looks good, all the shingles are lying flat in the areas he repaired.

I made one phone call. They quoted a price and sent someone the next day to make the repairs (without requiring me to be present) then sent me a bill for the quoted amount. The leak was fixed. What more could you ask for?

I wasn't here when they did the work, I left it totally up to them. Everything seemed to turn out alright, and my gutters were clean.

They were ok...did a pretty good job, but left a lot of nails around and one of their guys was arrested while the project was being done (spouse abuse?) They were friendly enough, though. overall.

I called for service and no one returned my call. I called again and they were sending someone to do a proposal which they emailed me and I agreed that they could do the work. Did not tell us when they would be there although I asked for them to let me know when it was scheduled to be done, just "beginning of next week, hopefully". (as a matter of fact, they supposedly came and fixed it and we did not know it). I assume it was fixed, it is high and we can't really tell. And I never got an explanation of what was done or a real bill, just the proposal. It just seemed to be handled sloppily and unprofessionally and I really don't know if they actually did the work (or did it correctly). It was for my mom's house and she said she saw a ladder outside her window (although no one and no truck) so I guess they worked on it. No one even knocked on her door and let know they were there, what they did or when they were leaving, although I asked them to.

Great. I am glad that they were able to get the job done when they did ... the weather would have prevented anyone from doing the job today.
