Description of Work: When our subdivision was built 23 years ago, the developer removed the topsoil and sold it off leaving the homes in our neighborhood with poor quality dirt. After years of struggling to kill off weeds and get grass to grow in our front yard, we realized our yard needed a complete overhaul if we were to have any success. We hired Lambs to fix the problem. They removed the existing ground cover as well as a few inches of soil, put down several inches of topsoil and then sod. The cost was $4000 and the work was completed in one day. While we had some dead spots initially, those areas are disappearing as the grass grows. Our yard looks great. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: Edging of landscaped areas in front, side and back yard. Mulch for many areas of yard, including heavily landscaped wooded area. 3 employees worked most of day. Only problem was that a cable was sliced in two during the edging process. However, it was buried only about 3 inches below the surface. |We have used Lamb's before for another type of service and have been satisfied both times we have used them. Their employees were very professional, courteous and hard-working.

Description of Work: Basically, they did nothing. We built a new home and called Lamb's on a referral from our builder. They returned our first call, leaving a voice mail. They did not respond to our second call or email. They may be the best in the business, but we will never know.

 + 0 moreRJ and his crew were great to work with on my large-scale cleanup. They showed up when the said they would, did what they promised they would do, and were nice about doing it. They also do my snow removal. They are coming this week to help me with some early spring flower bed cleaning, and I plan to have them cut my grass again this summer.
Description of Work: Trimming, clearing, cleaning five years of overgrowth on our property. They also handled the regular maintenance of our lawn and are providing snow removal for us this winter.

 + -1 moreDave came and listened to what we were trying to achieve. We explained to him what we had seen and liked in landscaping at some new homes in the area. Dave worked with us and gave several suggestions. He then gave us drawings of the proposed design. We went to a local nursery and picked out several plants and trees we liked. Dave made several more suggestions, revised his drawings, and quoted a price. We added 17 trees and over 50 flowers, bushes and various plants. We are absolutely thrilled with the appearance. It has enhanced the curb appeal of our home tremeandously. We had several neighbors stop by to complement the appearance or ask who did the work. We are considering additional work in the spring and will be giving Dave a call. He did a great job understanding us and guiding us with suggestions. All in all, we couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: We just purchased an 8 year old home this summer. Lamb was called to quote trimming up the existing landscaping and to quote adding landscaping around the front sidewalk and back patio. We also wanted to add two lines of blue spruce and pines across the side yard for privacy and a couple of islands of spruce and pines for decoration beside the driveway and the corner of the lot.

 + -1 moreHe did the landscaping and almost everything he planted died. So I called him, and he said that he does not guarantee his work. I asked him if I bought the plants would he replant them, and he never called back.

 + -1 moreTHEY ARE OKAY. THEY ARE NOT THE CLEANEST SOMETIMES. THEY'LL SPRAY THE GRASS TOWARD THE WINDOWS. THEY SOMETIMES DON'T DO THE SIDEWALK. THEY LEAVE THE GATE OPEN, AND WE HAVE DOGS.
Description of Work: THE PRICE IS $25 PER WEEK. THEY CUT, TRIM AND PUT DOWN MULCH.

 + -1 moreI WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I THINK THEY ARE EXCELLENT. WHEN OUR HOUSE WAS BUILD WE HAD THE LANDSCAPING DONE BY OTHERS AND THE TREES THEY PLANTED DIED AND THEY NEVER CAME OUT EVEN WHEN EVERYTHING WAS UNDER WARRANTY. THIS COMPANY WE USE NOW IS VERY PUNCTUAL AND RESPONSIBLE.
