Two Men And A Truck

It went really well. They brought three guys and only charged me for two, which was really helpful. The older man who was a trainer was exceptional. They did a great job.

The worst experience I've ever had. They showed up late, tore the water meter box out of my front yard, left for two hours with no explanation, and damaged five pieces of my furniture. The company refuses to let me use my own furniture repair company on pieces of furniture that are irreplaceable and worth thousands of dollars. Several items had to go into storage, and despite my instructions -- which they verified in writing -- items were stacked on top of a $3,000 dining room table. I incurred more than $5,000 damage to my furniture. The company now refuses to work with me on repair of the furniture. They are rude and uncooperative. If you use them, you'll regret it.

The crew that moved us worked diligently to get things done as quickly as possible, took time to wrap not only my antiques, but almost all of the furniture, and they were great with our 2 preschoolers. I was very impressed and will highly recommend them to family and friends.

Have used this company multiple times in two states. First three went very well. Last two, not so much. In fourth move the uprights on both sides of entertainment center had a big dent in then the size of a doorknob. Impossible to miss while moving, but they failed to mention it. When I found it, the company did send a man out to try to patch and paint it, but it didnt work. I will say that they were good about repaying for the price of replacement. Last move, I found several months later that the washing machine that had been placed in the garage in a corner, had the hoses draped over it so that it was not visible that the part inside the machine where the hoses thread onto, was completely sheared off and yanked out. Once again, management did the right thing and paid for the repair, but I would not have been so upset about it had it been reported when it happened. Needless to say, while management has been good to me, will NOT be using their services again.

It went excellent! Not one item damaged. Very hard working crew.

I had more than I realized, after 34 years crap accumulates. The showed up exactly when they said the would. And for the next six hours they worked like Roman Galley slaves. We were late getting moved, because there was more there than originally planned. The price was higher for the same reason. The took care packing and loading. The lady I spoke to in their office, Jamie, was a delight. She explained things and didn't get grumpy when I asked a stupid question, or asked her to explain something. I am still unpacking, because I found it is a long process. No hidden breakage has been found. The only thin I got cranky about is that we forgot to mark the box with the coffee pot in it!!! Bought a new one and life goes on.

Much of the move went well. They movers were conscientious and tried to please. However, ANY time I ever spoke to the schedulers or the movers, I mentioned that one bedroom dresser was VERY large and EXTREMELY heavy. Plus, it had to make a 90 degree turn coming out of the bedroom and go down stairs from the second floor bedroom to the first floor. I warned them many times that when I purchased it, the guys (from another company) had a great deal of trouble with getting the cabinet up the stairs and making the turn. I said it over and over, to the schedulers and the guys moving it out. Two Men and a Truck sent 3 people to do the job. The guys made several attempts, but lost control of the large, heavy cabinet and it slid down the first level of stairs and slammed through the wall at the landing. It created many marks and a hole through the drywall larger than a basketball. They called for an additional guy and with 4...they were able to get it down the stairs and out. They marked 2 walls with many deep groves and then the large hole in the wall. When the guys arrived, they said they were bonded and insured and that any damage to the house or the moved items would be repaired. When they left, they filled out a damage report on the wall and said someone would be contacting me within 3 days and schedule a repair. No call came. I called them and the woman said she could do nothing about it. I would just have to wait longer. I grew increasingly irritated and she hung up on me. How professional!!! I called the office again on day 5 leaving a message for a call back and didn't get one. I called the number on the damage claim and a seemingly very helpful woman said she would email her boss because of the urgency of our upcoming closing on the house, as the house has been sold and the damage taken care of 10 days before close. She said I should hear something in another day or two. I did not! We are now up to day 6 and no one had called me. On day 9, I called the damage claim number and got a young man who said it would be done by Friday the 5th. It is July 4 and the large repair has not even been started....and I am familiar with the time it takes to fix drywall with multi layers of coating...AND they have to paint. My buyers are wanting to move in July 12th...just a holiday and 6working days away. The buyers are understandably upset and I am getting NO HELP FROM TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!!!! They keep saying that I just have to wait on their contractor. WHAT??? They can't have more influence on one of their contractors? I don't believe a word. I need help getting this resolved and right away before closing on the house! My buyer's realtor is threatening to pull money out of my equity until the drywall is fixed. Two Men and a Truck shows no sign of assisting or expediting the repairs. First it was 3 days, then 6, now....they won't even give me a date and both my realtor and my buyer's realtor are pressuring me to get it resolved BEFORE July 12th. At this point....it seems like the company just doesn't care.

my experience with Two Men and a Truck was wonderful from beginning to end. Not only did they return my call promptly, they communicated clearly what services they provided: a sizable truck, two movers, did we need wardrobe boxes (hadn't thought of that, but, yes!), which they rent you for the day at a nominal fee, and take back with them. The guys arrived right on time, were pleasant, polite, clean-cut, helpful, and never complained once about all that back-breaking work they were doing (and we didn't have to this time, thank heavens). They even packed up my daughter's clothes from her closet for us into the wardrobe boxes. They were careful with all her belongings, and careful not to scrape the walls while they moved things.At the end, they had my daughter check their truck to make sure everything go removed from it. My only regret is that we didn't do this with her previous moves, as we didn't realize it would be so affordable. And totally, but totally, worth it. Best, easiest, fastest move ever. We would most definitely use them again.

The movers showed up in the scheduled window of time, efficiently and carefully moved my belongings, and were friendly and polite. I used this company previously, and I'm always pleased with the experience.

the communication was average. On my second move there were suppose to send an extra person and did not. My Feb 1 move was a pretty good experience, my Mar 1 experience was horrible and my May 6 experience was a roller coaster from good experience to fair. I found out once boxes were opened that several items were broken and 2 boxes everything was completely broken on the box. All items were bubble wrapped. I called to tell them of my experience just to make sure they knew what was going on and I was not expecting anything to happen. I was told to file a claim in which I did reluctantly only to have my claim denied. After spending over $5000 I would not use them again

Two Men and a Truck showed up on time, very professional. Walked me through the process as I walked them through the house, showing them what needed to be moved. They did exactly what they said they would do, and under what they quoted me. Excellent service.

Received estimate to move office furniture for $1200, actual bill came to $1598. Had similar experience in a previous move with them as we'll. movers moved furniture and some boxes. While unpacking boxes noticed that large jar of change is missing. Called multiple times prior to receiving a response. After receiving a call back the company denied any responsibility.

The two movers arrived in the one hour window that they were expected. They were polite, professional and offered advice for my move. They handled all of my belongings (and there were a lot!) with care, making sure that everything was wrapped properly and positioned in the truck so as not to do any damage. They worked tirelessly for hours, only taking one short break. One of their supervisors dropped by to check on their progress, review their paperwork, and to make sure that I was satisfied with the work thus far. They positioned my furniture per my request at the destination and even offered suggestions for room arrangements when it looked like everything might not fit. I will hire this company again in a heat beat! They made the grueling job of moving much less painful and much more organized.

All went very well. Could not have asked for anything better.

Three hardworking gentlemen provided excellent and efficient moving services for us. They were incredibly careful with our furniture with no damage to anything. The actual cost of the move was half the estimate because they were so efficient. We have Phase 2 of our move still left to do and I will defintely have this company back for that move and anytime I need them after that. Highly recommend them to everyone!

Had a great experience last time, but this time the service level was lower. The crew tried to tell my mom they had to take down her basement door and casing moulding in order to remove a fridge from the basement. I'm grateful my brother was there and suggested removing the fridge door to get it through the opening. The overall feeling was the crew was trying to get out of moving the fridge out of the basement. Then a 30 minute trip took 90 minutes for them to complete. They unloaded with no issues, but I think it was because one of the guys on the crew knew my friend who was over helping me move. My bill came out almost $100 more than quoted. I'm disappointed in apparent decrease in service level. Last time the movers asked me for a tip and I happily obliged, there guys didn't ask, which was a good thing, because ther eis no way I would have tipped them.

Packed us at our previous residence and moved us to our new residence. They were outstanding. We used the company 5 years ago and they were good then but this crew (actually turned out to be 3 men and a truck!) was outstanding. Not only would we use this company again but would request the same crew. They took better care of our stuff than we would have!

Multiple trucks and crews were used to move stored furniture and furniture in use. They showed up right on time, worked hard and finished earlier than expected. The weather was miserable, but they worked through it without issue. There was slight damage to the doorway and a wall during the move, but considering the size and amount of furniture moved, it was trivial. Even in this, the company showed professionalism, not only admitting to having done the damage, but actually pointing it out to me. They repaired the damage in a timely fashion with the end result looking good as new. They did an outstanding job.

I was happy with the professionalism and care with which they performed the work. The work was completed within 15 minutes of the estimated time frame. They clearly communicated when they took a break and lunch break and that the time would not count against the total time. We are doing a double move because we are building a new house. We will use 2-men again for our second move. Hopefully we will get the same team.

The two men who showed up to do the work were very friendly and professional. They gave me a courtesy call on their way to my first location to let me know they were coming. Once they got there, they loaded the truck much faster than I had anticipated. I even asked them to move some extra things that I had not planned on them doing. Once they arrived at my new place, they were quick to unload the truck and very careful not to damage the wood laminate flooring that I had. I couldn't have asked for better service...these guys were great! They finished in well under the estimated time that I was given by the customer service rep.

I provided the company with both addresses and asked for an estimate to move an Armoir and TV from Indianapolis address to Atlanta, IN address. The estimate contained move time and driving time charges for a total of $229. They performed the move and did show up at the end of their estimated timing so that was acceptable; however, when they arrived at the desitination, the charges were $386. I had paid $100 down payment and had $129 cash to pay the remaining balance. However, she was not prepared to pay $286 in cash. They said they would follow her to the bank to get the money and at first refused to leave until they were paid. They finally left and I began trying to reach someone who could explain the difference in the charges. All that was said was that it took more time than estimated -- however according to the estimate, it was right in line. Finally, I was tired of the back and forth and lack of responsiveness and was going to give up and pay the balance and write a review - but the last individual I spoke with was able to explain everything to me. While I felt that the estimate was misleading and did not provide the information correctly, I was finally able to understand how the charges were reached. She then told me that the balance was $75. I told her that I was prepared to pay at least the estimated amount, she indicated that the balance was $75. I proceeded to give her my credit card information and asked for a receipt. I never received the receipt but found that they charged my card $257.50 and still have not provided a receipt. Not only is this fraudulent, I feel that it borders on theft as well as unethical business practices. I am concerned as to what else they may charge my account for and will see if I can block any further charges from their organization.

This was the third of a 3 part move for us. (We used another mover for parts 1 and 2, whom we were very happy with. They simply weren't available on the day we needed for the last move.) We were EXTREMELY disappointed by Two Men and a Truck. First, they showed up at an old address for us. (The office apparently took an old address from their computer file; NOT the one I gave them on the phone when I called to set it up.) Secondly, they were incredibly slow, and we have very recent experiences for comparison! Third, these guys did not seem at all trained in how to take apart or handle large furniture (and I described what we had when I called.) My husband and I ended up personally moving far more than we'd planned on because of the slowness of the move. I would NEVER hire this company again.

These guys were terrible. They damaged a expensive desk and a very expensive refrigerator, and tried to hide that they had done it. When I found the damage, the guys lied and said that they were already damaged and that they didn't do it. The front of the refrigerator is dented and the power cord was torn. They sent out a new power cord, but it was the wrong cord, so I had to order one myself. Now I am still without a refrigerator. Update: I ended up repairing the refrigerator and desk myself. I spent over $200 just to fix the refrigerator and Two Men and a Truck have refused to reimburse me. DO NOT USE TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!

This company did an outstanding job! They came out and gave us a detailed estimate, and fit us in their schedule. The movers were here on time. They went through a detailed walk through of the house first. They padded every piece of furniture as well as the front door and door frame. Upon delivery of the house, they asked were we wanted everything. It was over 102 degrees and they never complained or slowed down. They were done 15 minutes under the quoted time. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
