Two Men And A Truck

The movers were supposed to arrive between 11:30a and 1:30p. I received a call at 10am that they had finished their first job early and asked if they could come straight to my place, which was great. They arrived at 10:45am and walked through to see which items they would be taking and carefully wrapped everything to prevent damage. They moved 2 bedrooms, living room couch and love seat, basement sectional, washer and dryer, 2 entertainment centers, and two large flat panel TVs. They moved quickly, didn't take long breaks and had everything moved and in place at the new house by 12:45pm - 2 hours! Nothing was damaged, and everything went very smoothly.

Neal, Greg and Josh did an excellent job and all of our belongings made it without any damage. Everything was placed in our home exactly where we wanted things to go. In a few situations furniture pieces were moved when it was apparent the first location was not going to work.

Did a very good job. Arrived on time and were very efficient. All our furniture was padded and wrapped.

We had searched for movers that would be available on a weekend as it was the only time my husband and I could be available to move into our new home. We had two storage units and furniture at another location to all be picked up and delivered to our new house. The movers arrived in a timely manner and got to work right away. They were so quick and on top of things. They were good about pointing out scratches or other dings on our furniture prior to moving it to make sure that we were aware it was there. They sent 4 guys and 2 large trucks for the job- MORE than enough to get it done quick! Once we got to the house the guys planned out where furniture was going and got to it quick. They were running up and down the stairs and running out to their truck. They were so fast and on top of things. They listened well to me directing where things should go and even made sure all our furniture was where we wanted it before they left. I would very much recommend their services to anyone who needs to move. They made paying them feel very worthwhile. We had everything moved in 5hours. It was such a relief to have it done so fast!

I would give them A for everything. That was the second time we had used them. They came. They loaded things up. You direct them where to put things and they put them there. They were careful. They were polite and nice.

The office staff was good when I set up service but I called and left a message regarding problems with the move. I did not receive a call back to at least acknowledge my problems. When I called again, I was told that they will turn it over to the manager and have someone get back to me. I still have not heard back. As far as the movers, there was damage to 3 items that I have found before they left. I had to point them out even though I was standing there when they dropped one of the pieces and his reply was he would hammer it out. Multiple things that were listed on my sheet were not moved and pieces of items that were moved were still left at the other house. I had to hire someone the next day to help me move the remaining pieces that they were supposed to move.

we were given a 10:30 to 12:30 arrival window. The movers showed up right around 11 am. I can't say enough about how courteous and fast they were. We were originally quoted 6.5 hrs and $828 and there worked so quickly that is was cut down to 3.75 hrs and $576. They made sure to ask where everything was supposed to go, not just drop things anywhere. They wrapped all the furniture vary carefully and cheerfully moved things after bringing them when I decided I wanted to change its location. Our new house has a very tricky staircase with lots of angles and they were very careful and didn't damage a thing. They even managed to get my treadmill in the basement, which I though would be impossible. The ONLY damage that occurred was a lamp that I added last minute and was not in a box. The damage was so minor that I said I could juts fix it myself very easily. They made sure to point it out to me and let me know I could file a damage report.it was so minor i felt it was not needed. All in all I am extremely happy with the service I received and would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I would not have Two Men and a Truck pack for me again. The and quot;supervisorand quot; did an adequate job, but the two helper had not packed before. We were lucky that nothing was broken. But care was not taken with my china and Waterford glassware. I do have a lot of breakable dishes and glassware. Several boxes just had non breakable items dumped in, but items that could scratch each other. I questioned my husband's decision to have them pack and I was correct. The guys were friendly and courteous - just not experienced packers! At $121 an hour not a good value. As far as the move itself - they did well. We had 3 trucks and 7 people. It was a long 11 hour day and by the end of the move (8pm) boxes were not going to the correct part of the home. But again they were courteous, friendly and did a good job. For the price I would have them move us again. We saved over $2000 for a 15 minute drive to the new home.

Three guys in a truck moved the contents of a studio assisted living apartment to another facility 4 miles away. Pictures, photos, lamps and many personal items were removed before they got there. Off the bat they were disorganized, stuff was at elevators at both ends of the building. Mattresses to be left were removed and then returned, etc. Had they still been able to do the work (remember--three guys) within the estimated time and therefore within the estimated budget, then--oh well. But inefficiencies resulted in a bigger bill. On top of that they forgot to bring the dresser mirror and when I noticed it when he wanted to collect he said he'd charge me to go back and get it. I said I wasn't going to pay him more for his mistake. It was not a pleasant exchange. He walked out to call his office and then returned and said he'd go get it--no additional charge. In hindsight, I should have done my own walk around, but I was in a lobby area waiting for them. He announced he was done, asked me what kind of car I drove to follow me and headed for the elevator. I will say two things: they got there within their hour window and I did not notice damage.

Both times I used them they were fantastic. They are quick, professional and efficient. They moved my 2 couches out of my 3rd floor apartment with no issue or complaining. When charged by the hour, time is money. They are excellent on not wasting time, therefore racking up the price. Both time they were in and out in under 2 hours. Highly recommend!!

The move overall went well. The men who arrived were professional and very courteous, however it was evident from the beginning that one was an extremely hard worker and the 2nd person was not as much (in fact complained quite a bit). None of our furniture was damaged, however they had some difficulty getting our furniture to the basement and the walls were banged up a bit and our hardwood floor was scratched. They sent someone out within a week to fix the hardwood floor (they actually sent him out immediately, but I was not available for a week) and the floor looks as good as new! Very receptive to the fixes which needed to be done, would use them again-they were overall efficient and as I stated very courteous.

The men that did the actual move were great. They were pleasant and professional. They did a great job, no damage to any of my belongings or homes. However I was initially promised a 9 am arrival time and received a call the day before and told it would be 12 nn and eventually got a call the day of that they would be there at 4pm. They guys worked really hard and kept a good attitude even though they were working like a 15 hr day

Everything made it to Indianapolis intact and on time.

Everything seemed to be perfect except that when we went back to do final check of loft before turning it back to the owner, we realized they had forgotten an entire closet of clothes and had left several items in the elevator. They had been so great in every other way, that we didn't think we needed to do a final check and took their word that they were done. So, I'd recommend doing a final thorough. check before they leave. If it weren't for the forgotten items, I'd have given them straight A's.

Our daughter used this company on a move from Indy to Chicago years ago. As we were downsizing and needed to have help moving our furniture. Martin and Rob showed up within the arrival window. They treated our belongings respectfully and delivered them carefully and safely to our new place. They asked us to make sure everything was in the right place and adjusted inches one way or the other as we needed. Super job!

Please, look into the situation and get back from us to help with some resolution. It is the first service we used through Angie's List and due to the lousy service we are shy of using any other businesses. HELP.

Where very unprofessional on the phone .

They were FANTASTIC!! We couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Prompt, personable, professional and FAST! We ended up using four men and two trucks for the job and it was perfect. They were at times literally RUNNING with the boxes and items as they loaded and unloaded the trucks. They took care with our items, wrapping them and protecting them from damage. They finished the job ahead of the estimated time on our quote and made a stressful day much more pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move, can't say enough nice things!

I’ve been had by Two Men and a Truck. I contacted them for a quote because I had seen their moving truck moving others in my Carmel apartment complex and hear their radio ad on my favorite radio station. This was my first time using a mover, and I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with the cost and time spent for the move. However, I am appalled by the lack of customer service in receiving my feedback and the lack of effort to make things right. Lesson learned: Expect to pay double the quote (nearly $600 for a 600-square foot apartment!) and they didn’t even move everything I had to move. The movers arrived at 9:00am asked where to park the truck; I had parked my car in the front row spot closest to the entrance of my apartment building so they could quickly park the truck, although the movers didn’t get started moving until a few bathroom breaks, filling out the appropriate paperwork, and looking over the items I needed to move, a mere 30 minutes later I had been quoted that the entire move was estimated to take 2 and frac12; hours, including travel time to Broad Ripple. The movers took 3 hours just to load the truck for a 600-square foot apartment in Carmel. I asked what was taking so long and the mover told me that the paperwork indicated I lived on the 1st floor, not the 2nd floor and that’s what was taking so long. Prior to leaving, I asked if they needed directions (my new place was a straight shot down College Avenue), and they said no. I explained that parking might be a little tricky and they told me not to worry and they’d be able to figure it out (but never mentioned it would be at my own expense). I arrived at my new place within 20 minutes, no traffic issues, but the moving truck didn’t arrive until 20 minutes after that (took them 40 minutes to get to the new place). So now, I’m being billed for 70 minutes of no work (the 30 minutes from the morning plus the 40 minutes later). Once they do arrive, one of the movers specifically will not park the truck in my neighbor’s driveway because “the truck is too big.” I, the customer, am being punished because they sent a 16 foot truck to move a 600-square foot apartment? Seems fair…One of the movers argues with me to move cars that are parked directly in front of my house, which I am unable to do, because it is street parking. He proceeds to park the truck a block away from the house while claiming that he’s just looking out for me and the time. Once the truck is parked, only one of the movers is working to unload the truck, while the other mover stays on the truck to move things that were packed in the back of the truck to the front. To keep them on time, I started helping unloading the items I was able to carry. The point to hiring movers is so you don’t have to pitch in? He has me sign a revision statement for 4.5 hours but “typically the unloading goes by much faster, and should only take 45 minutes.” I guess I’m a sucker because it ended up taking them to the full time 4.5 hours, which they now argue with me is the time that I agreed to. I completed the evaluation/feedback survey, and I called the number to share feedback about my move (the # the e-mail instructs you to call if you have feedback to share regarding your move). I spoke with Cheryl only to be told that she would try to contact the local branch, but that I would need to contact the local branch first and I should ask to speak to the manager. I called the local office at 2:03pm on 11/1, and used the phone number Cheryl provided (317.489.5750). The call lasted 44 seconds because I left a voicemail message. One week goes by, no response or returned phone call. On 11/11, I called the corporate office again and spoke with Anna who offered to contact the local office for me. Conveniently, they apologize to her but tell her that they have no record of the message. At the conclusion of my move, I was informed that I paid for 4.75 hours, but upon speaking with customer care, their records noted that the move took 5 hours and they shaved off 0.5, as if they’ve already done me a favor? They also argued that the error in what floor I lived on had NOTHING to do with the amount of time (yet that’s not what the mover told me) but it was 1) where they had to park and 2) that I had more stuff than quoted. Disclaimer: I fully concede to the fact I had more boxes than I included on the inventory in the quote; however, did not have double the amount of stuff to warrant my cost of moving to be doubled. Had they been honest with me about the quote up front, I would have NEVER agreed to pay such an astronomical rate to move a 600-square foot apartment. I’ve since shared my horrible customer service experience with my coworkers and friends who have shared with me that I’m not the first person to have this opinion. Next time I need a mover, you better believe I will be doing my homework, but if you contact Two Men and a Truck, expect to pay double the quoted amount. And if you live in a 600-square foot apartment, you can expect to pay $600.

My experience was terrible. They were over an hour and a half late. The appearance of one of the individuals who led the group did not make me feel safe being a single female moving alone. Beyond that while on the clock the leader went to the and quot;bathroomand quot; for 30 minutes at each location while on the clock and the other team members worked on moving my stuff in. They broke a glass desk top and tried to bully me into not submitting an incident report by talking about how that money comes out of his pocket and he has 3 small children. They only two of 4 bolts back into assembling my bed and armour making it unsturdy and then did not provide me with the remaining bolts to complete the job. I can only assume they lost them. I provided them with food and drink -- the leader said not to just to pay them more in tips which was unprofessional. I called to claim my damaged table top and the damage control center never called me back after 3 messages one week apart. It was a very unprofessional job.

They came on time and they were courious, friendly, and very hardworking. I haven't found anything broken yet and I don't think that I will. They were just really nice and it was a hot day and they stayed with it. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Best service I have ever had. The movers came in on Thursday and packed up my stuff and loaded up the truck and on Friday morning brought all my stuff to me at my new address. The service wasexcellent. They have some great guys working for them. If anyone is looking for a mover I would highly recommend this moving company. What I also liked about this company is I was giving a written estimate right away and did not have to wait over a week to get one. Thanks Two Men and aTruck for making my move easy.

I had to leave a voice mail, but someone in their office promptly called me back.We scheduled a time for an on-site estimator to come look through our house to give us a more accurate moving quote (4 bedroom house). Unfortunately, our circumstances changed and I had to cancel the estimator appointment. BUT I was very pleased with how I was treated throughout my short experience dealing with Two Men and a Truck, and I would call them again without hesitation.

The movers showed up on time. Then the fun started. We were moving into a new house, so the walls, floors, etc were untouched. The movers put more marks on the walls and floors than me and a couple buddies would have. They had NO equipment to help with the move, only three young guys that I ended up working circles around. To finish the move off, they dropped my treadmill on one of the workers hands and then said it was and quot;unsafe to moveand quot;. I had to end up moving one of the only heavy items in our house by myself. Just not a good experience all around.
