Description of Work: Many items not wrapped. I have damaged case goods. I ordered three people specifically because of the nature of my move. The leader of the team arrived mad because I was moving out of a high ride. These people never functioned as a team' they were dysfunctional together. Late because they had to get gas. Then I beat them to the new location by 55 minutes... Had to refill on gas. They locked themselves out of the building, just stood outside locked out. What a sad excuse for movers.

Description of Work: I had scheduled them for a move and had to cancel. They were very accommodating. I canceled too late to get my refund back but said I could use it a later date. The gentlemen I spoke to on the phone was very professional and understanding.

Description of Work: Moving to storage and all went very well. The crew handled furniture very carefully to the truck and off into storage space. I would hire them again for sure!

Description of Work: They were able to move me from my 2 story condo down the street to a one story one and did so quickly yet carefully. Two of the pluses included having no minimum time limit and the inclusion of their truck in with the fee unlike other companies.

Description of Work: I left a review for John Mitchell Moving 2 Men and a Truck. They came out and gave me an estimate of $1100.00. They moved me and the same exact stuff in September of 2014, and I paid $1100 then. I was shocked to get the bill at the end this time for over $1400.00. They were late arriving by at least 30 minutes, and it took them much longer this time into the evening. They moved much slower than the last crew they finished after 7 PM. Both moves were ranch homes and were about the same distance, the previous one also included a stop at a storage unit, and they were done about 4 PM!

Description of Work: Packed their truck with our household belongings and moved us about 20 miles away. They were professional, efficient and made the usually horrible moving experience almost enjoyable. Would definately use them again and will recommend them to everyone we know. Our movers, Anthony and Demarius were awesome!

Description of Work: I don't think it could have gone any better. 2 stop pickup on Friday, 2 stop delivery on Saturday out of state. Smooth smooth. Both pickups and deliveries were fairly complicated and not easily accomplished. We used 2 trucks and the crew of 4 men were excellent. Very efficient and careful with our belongings. After reading the online nightmare-ish stories & reviews about most every carrier, we were apprehensive. But 2MAAT were every bit as good as their rating: they exceeded our expectations. We had minimal damage to a couple pieces of furniture. I've done worse myself carefully moving a piece from one room to another. We highly recommend them to anyone. The staff at the high-rise we moved into were really impressed and they see movers at work all of the time. These guys rock.

Description of Work: They moved me from a two story townhouse into a one story apartment on the first floor in less than 2 hours. Showed up on time, immediately started wrapping and moving furniture. There were three guys, one a trainee, and I must say they were all very friendly and professional. I would certainly use their company again. Excellent.

Description of Work: When I contacted the Westside 2 Men and a Truck via web site to help me move a professional Arc-Trainer from the National Institute of Fitness and Sport to my house, they were so diligent that they noticed I had said it was professional and that it was very heavy. They contacted me and explained that while they would love to have my business, I really should check with Bob Block Fitness or BGI. I contacted BGI first, and then Bob Block. Joshua from Bob Block asked me enough questions about the equipment to help me realize that it might not fit in my house, because the equipment was welded and could not be taken apart. I measured the trainer, and measured the room where I planned to place it and the doorway was 1.5 inches too small. It could have been a disaster, if I had simply been scheduled for a move - and then would have found out once they got there that it wouldn't fit. Instead, NIFS refunded my money and all is well. Thank you, thank you, thank you 2 Men and a Truck.

Description of Work: I have used this company several times for moving. They have moved little things for me and a whole house as well.

Description of Work: They dropped the weights to my Grandfather clock and made big scatches in the handles of my brand new refrigerater. The three men who came to move us appeared not to know what they were doing. They at first said that they could easily get our things into one truck and take to storage but ended up having to get another truck. We rented a large climently controlled stage unit and they just threw our things into it thus causing us to have to rent another smaller unit. Needless to say, we used another company to move us out of storage. After unpacking our thing we have found more breakage. The claim was filed on that day and they still have not fixed the matter. I have called the claims department many times and I get different reasons for the delay. They said that they ordered the weights and they came in and were for the wrong clock. they said that they ordered the handles and then HH Gregg told them that they had lost the order. Now I have just called again and of course the claims person is not there and won't be in until tomorrow and they would return my call then. I am wondering if this will be another excuse or will I get my replacement after three months.

Description of Work: Two young men moved only large, heavy pieces from a 2 story home with basement to a ranch with basement (we moved all the manageable furniture & small pieces ourselves). These two workers were strong, careful, & efficient.
