 + 0 moreWe spent quite a bit of money to alleviate the water issue in our back yard, and Noll helped draw up plans for us. The job required removing a large bush, installing a french drain and drywell and regrading the space. I have to say that I do not notice a lot of change in the amount of water that accumulates back there. Noll did not guarantee that it would fix the problem either. So we are left with really what we started with. If the work wouldn't fix the problem in the first place, we would have gone ahead with it. Noll could have told us the answer to that either way.
Description of Work: Noll installed a french drain and drywell to drain standing water from our back yard, as well as removing a large bush.

She listened and was willing to make changes to her plan. The crew that did the work was friendly, efficient, and did a nice job cleaning up. The transformation of my backyard is amazing.
Description of Work: Installed 216 square foot brick paver patio. Landscaped backyard, including planting six trees and numerous perennials, transplanted existing perennials, mulched, extended downspouts, removed existing sod, and seeded yard.

 + -1 moreIt took a while to get the work done, partly because we called them so late in the spring and partly because of weather. They did a good job. It took longer to do the work (2 to 4 men working each day for 6 days), but there was a lot of work to do. The crew was pleasant and professional. Both the relaid patio and the cleaned-out existing gardens look great. We will probably call them in a couple of years to relay brick paths.
Description of Work: They cleaned out several overgrown gardens and prepared them for planting, created a new garden space and removed and relaid brick pavers in a patio that had become dangerously uneven.

 + -1 moreEveryone we worked with at The Noll could not have been nicer, more professional and helpful. We felt their price was reasonable. We could not believe that from the time they actually started the installation to completion was a matter of a couple of days! They met their timelines and did great follow-up. One plant did not make it and it was replaced promptly with no questions asked. A wonderful company, with wonderful service.
Description of Work: Full landscape from design to installation of front and back of home. Prior bushes were very old and overgrown. We removed all the old bushes. Susan provided a wonderful approach to the landscape plan. She was realistic with our budgetary limits. We chose to do 2 of the 3 spaces designed. The result is fabulous. Susan came up with ideas that we had not even thought of and we have been extremely pleased. We have a corner house at the front of our neighborhood and we have had so many of our neighbors comment on how beautiful everything looks and inquiring about the service provider. We have, without hesitation, told everyone about The Noll Landscaping Group ... we are in the process of contacting them once again to have some additional work quoted and done.

IT WAS A SIMPLE PROCESS AND INCLUDED ONLY ONE FACE TO FACE MEETING WITH HER DURING WHICH SHE GOT IDEAS OF WHAT WE WANTED AND SHE CONVEYED SOME OF HER IDEAS TO US. ONCE WE AGREED ON THE PLAN, NOLL ORDERED THE PLANTS, WE SHOWED UP TO APPROVE THE PLANTS, THEN NOLL SCHEDULED A TIME FOR INSTALLATION. OUR ONLY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH NOLL WAS THEIR FOLLOW-THROUGH ON THE INSTALLATION DATE AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION FROM THEM DURING THE INSTALLATION DELAY. THE NEW LANDSCAPING WAS INSTALLED APPROXIMATELY 2 WEEKS AFTER DATE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED AND WE HAD TO CALL NOLL TO ASK WHAT THE NEW INSTALLATION DATE WOULD BE.
Description of Work: COMPLETE DESIGN & INSTALLATION OF FRONTYARD AND BACKYARD LANDSCAPING. SOME NEW BEDS WERE CREATED. ORIGINAL LANDSCAPING CONSISTED OF OLD OVERGROWN BUSHES. OWNER REMOVED ALL OLD LANDSCAPING AND PREPARED BEDS FOR NOLL LANDSCAPE GROUP. NOLL INSTALLED NEW LANDSCAPING IN 1.5 DAYS.

WE WERE ABLE TO OBTAIN A MUCH MORE REASONABLE ESTIMATE FROM AN INDEPENDENT WORKER FOR UNDER $4000.
