 + -1 moreI did struggle with choosing the pavers because there were so many to choose from. I was happy with the work that they did. Overall, the work was excellent and John Lane was wonderful to work with. The ONLY complaint I had was the request for the additional $300 above the contract price and had I worded it myself, I would not have sounded quite so flippant. I was truly sorry that it cost them more than they estimated, but didn't feel it was my obligation to pay that amount.
Description of Work: I had this company put pavers down around my existing patio to make it larger and change the shape.

John Lane, the landscaper who designed the patio and landscaping and who managed the job, was wonderful to work with. He was very attentive and an excellent listener. He was very informative about the choice of trees & shrubs that would grow best in this part of the area. The men who did the paving were very talented and detail oriented. Everyone should be commended for an excellent job. We are very pleased.

 + -1 moreThey do fabulous work! Kathi, the landscaping person, is wonderful to work with. They don't try to push you into buying what is not needed. They worked with me on a payment plan and they are honest. They even take car of warranty issues quickly. Their prices are all set, so you never have to guess or haggle.
Description of Work: They mulched, planted seasonal flowers, and replaced three bushes. They did our initial landscaping before and they came back to update some of the things that didn't work out, which included redoing the front lawn and removing some plants. Some of the work was under warranty.

We had somebody who presented us with the plans but then she wasn't there with the actual installation. We were left to manage much more of the project than we were actually paying for. Overall, though, we are pleased.

We thought their price was reasonable, they were prompt and they did the work well. Of all of the things they planted, it wasn't necessary to replace anything. They are going to do our annual fertilization soon. Some of the projects included stone work as well. They have a year guarantee on everything newly planted. The price reflects the original plan and installation.

Description of Work: They landscaped part of our backyard where the grass is too damp and shady to grow. They took out some shrubs and replanted new ones. They also put in a tree. They mulched where they put the new plants and around the new tree, and in the front yard.

There were several times that we corresponded over email with some changes and she was always very prompt and helpful. The landscape plans were delivered when promised and she called several times to check-in on our decision making process. I would recommend Noll Landscape Group in a heartbeat. They were extremely helpful and wonderful to work with.

She looked up numerous trees and plants because I wanted something different than most had in our area. She came out during the project several times and met with me to make sure I was satisfied. We had an ornamental grass that dies and they replaced it promptly. She brought out pieces of stone for me to see which I preferred with the brick color on our house. They are very customer oriented and if Susan is not in, I found the rest of the staff to be helpful. I believe they do an outstanding job and really care how the property is left after the work is completed. I was informed when the work would start and on the wall, we decided that the number of stones needed changed and that was done immediately.

He seemed to anticipate my questions or concerns and responded quickly. John spent a great amount of time personally supervising the construction and often got busy working along side his crew. He didn't stop until every last detail was completed and perfect. John was outstanding and professional in every manner. We love our new patio and landscape and we have received many wonderful compliments.
Description of Work: John Lane from Noll designed a new front porch, walk, backyard patio, and all new landscape for our home. Concrete pavers were installed on the front walk and porch and the back patio and porch. The original patio was a concrete slab about 8' by 10', the patio is now about 4-5 times larger. A seat wall was built as a part of the patio. To solve a drainage problem, John designed and installed a dry creek bed. Old and overgrown landscape plants were removed, the flower beds were redesigned, improved and replanted.

 + -1 moreWe were worried that the plants would mold from the mulch after a large rain, but they followed up with us to let us know how to care for the beds, and there's been no mold. Their landscape architectural drawings were amended until we were satisfied with the results.
Description of Work: Drew up a plan for one third of our yard. They planted perennials that would bloom at different times of the year. They mulched the beds after the planted.

 + -1 moreThey wanted to install way too much. I had to tone their work down about 30%. Great plans but it was way too much. We had two trees that died which they replaced. One replacement tree didn't match the rest which was the only complaint I had. As it goes it seems to be matching better.
