For over 44 years, Smith Mathis Inc is a locally owned and operated business, dedicated to being a leader in the carpet industry within Central Indiana. In 1973, Buddy Smith opened the company because he saw a need for a good quality, honest carpet company in the Indianapolis area. He enjoyed working with his hands and the satisfaction of a job well done. Today, our dedication and commitment to a job well done lives on. Our biggest differentiator is the extensive carpet cleaning experience we have within our technicians. Many of our techs have 10, 15, and even 30+ years experience! You will find that our techs tend to be much more experienced than other local carpet cleaners in the area. It is our goal to build a relationship with our clients that will last a lifetime. Couldn't have gone better!
Description of Work: Brett from Smith Mathis showed up on time. He took a look at the condition of the carpet, took measurements, and gave me an estimate. The estimate was VERY reasonable. He cleaned 5 bedrooms, a bath, a hallway, and two stairs. One of the stairs was very dirty, and there were some pet stains. He did the work in 2 hours, got all the stains out, and the carpets look like new! Thank you, Brett!

Description of Work: Smith-Mathis cleaned my love seat and sofa. I received an estimate on the phone. The gentleman on the phone was very polite and professional. The gentleman who cleaned the upholstery came on time. He was very efficient and thorough in cleaning the pieces. He was very pleasant to work with. I have used Smith-Mathis before and plan on using them again. I was really pleased with the work.

Description of Work: Jeff came out to perform an inspection and offer an estimate on the same day that I called. Unfortunately, upon inspecting the first duct in our house, he reported that it was not the standard duct size and that their equipment could not provide adequate cleaning for our system. He apologized, but immediately said he did not want to leave us ''hanging'' with a long telephone search to find the right service. Then he gave me the name and contact number for Mite-E-Duct, another highly rated Angie's List service and suggest I contact them. I did so and found that they were quite well prepared to handle my system. Thanks to Jeff for his prompt and honest response and for referring me on to a competitor who could meet my needs!
