Simply one of the best contractors I have ever been involved with. The estimate process was quick and easy. Jeff was out a day or two after my initial call. Very professional and accurate with his appraisal of the situation. Brian was the technician on the call. Brian was able to stretch the carpet.and make areas where the carpet was "loose" look new again. This was done with a minimum of furniture moving. He re-seamed an area that was in a high traffic area. He had minimal material to work with, but the seam is better than it was when the carpet was installed. Everything with the stretching went perfectly. Then, we graduated to the carpet cleaning. I had them do the carpet cleaning since they were going to be out anyway and the holidays are around the corner. But, we have had pet stains from red dye in the pet food that has not been able to be removed using other carpet cleaning companies and I didn't expect any improvement. In an area where the carpet was loose, a considerable amount of wear and dirt was highlighted for months. Brian was able to eliminate the red dye stain to where I cannot even tell exactly where it was. The dirt and wear on the loose carpet is gone and you cannot tell there was ever a problem. I hardly ever fill our reviews for products and services. This one, I felt I needed to write. I simply will NEVER use another carpet cleaning company again.

He was able to get all the "kitty artwork" out of our sad old looking carpet. I like the results when he uses the steam cleaning wand.

Tim did an outstanding job cleaning our carpets! He was able to remove difficult stains, and even lifted and moved our heavy King-size bed to clean behind it. We were thrilled with the results and plan to hire Smith Mathis again in the future, as needed. He was polite, professional, and kind to our two children who were fascinated with his equipment. We will request Tim again and would recommend him to anyone looking for carpet cleaning!

The carpet was very badly stretched and Dave ended up cutting off about two inches of length. It is a large room and re-stretching was difficult because there were two registers that had to have carpet pieced back after the stretching was finished. Dave did a wonderful job. After cleaning, the carpet looked like new after 14 years. We are very pleased with the work. We look forward to having Smith Mathis come back and steam clean our kitchen tile and grout.

The Technician was Ron Lazzell-Butler. He arrived on time and did a spectacular job cleaning carpets throughout my home. He was friendly and polite. I will use Smith-Mathis in the future.

Excellent work. The floor looks great.This is the second time I've used Smith-Mathis. I used them in 2010 for the same type of service, and I was equally satisfied.

They were available to me since it was a rush situation since I wanted the carpets cleaned before a party. They did an excellent job on cleaning the carpets. There was just one person here and it took about an hour to complete the job. The technician was very professional and arrived on time. Their prices were competitive with others.

Great. Pat worked very h****** cleaning the carpet and paid extra attention to the pet (cat urine) issue in one area. The experience was good and I will have him back next week for the upstairs carpeting.

Great. I can't believe how hard Pat worked while he was here. He restretched the carpeting first....have to move and work around lots of furniture. I'm amazed! The carpeting looks so much better! After stretching, he cleaned the carpet......it looks fabulous! I will call Pat in the future!

It went very well. They've always been prompt and efficient and helpful in providing me with information. My interaction with them was fine. The work they did was excellent.

I'm not real happy with them. They did an okay job. They didn't use any foot protectors when they came in and out of the house and we had new carpeting. I wasn't happy with that. They came out a second time and made it right. So it was pretty good. They messed with the thermostat on our humidifier and we weren't happy with that. He said he was trying to turn off the humidifier in the spring. I told him that the humidifier doesn't work when the air conditioner is running, the humidifier only works when the furnace is running. We ended up having to get it replaced. I don't know if it was due to their fault or not. The service cost us a couple of hundred dollars.
