 + -1 moreA Smith-Mathis representative named Tim arrived between the hours of 8-9 am as promised. Tim was very professional and I felt safe in his presence (if you don't understand this, then you are male). We had swept every room and removed all the furniture we could. We offered to move what furniture was left when he was ready, but he went ahead and kindly moved it for us anyhow. Tim provided exceptional service and my carpets look great.
Description of Work: Cleaned carpets in dining room, living room, family room, one bedroom, and a hallway.

 + -1 moreThe carpet cleaners that work for Smith-Mathis are very knowledgeable, very fast, very reasonably priced and most of all they do a great job. This year Pat cleaned the carpet and he was so conscientious. He was concerned about not damaging the flowers near the front door with the hose so he came in a different way. Even the dog liked him; they bonded immediately. He was late in getting there which is unusual for them, but he apologized several times, admitted there was no excuse and proceeded to complete the job very efficiently. My carpet looks great.
Description of Work: Smith-Mathis cleaned several areas of carpet in my home. They really focused on one spot that will not budge.

 + -1 moreQuick estimate. It was fair and came in under other quote for same method and services. Scheduled cleaning same week. The cleaning tech in July/August, did a poor job. I did not call the business right away. I wanted to see if the stains came back or not and got busy with other things. September a 2nd tech came and cleaned the carpets again. He did a outstanding job. NO stains have returned. Thank you, Oliver! The owner of this company, diligently attempted to contact me to resolve my complaint. Very impressed. The return visit, did cost me some money, but at a fair price. It had been 2 months. During the 2nd visit, I found out that I had not been comparing equal services. I paid an additional fee for a service, I thought I had received during the first visit.
Description of Work: Clean 600 sq feet, 12 steps top only, and a hallway. Several stains from ''kid spills'', duct tape on carpet. The carpet is 5 years old and has only one traffic pattern. Only 1.

 + -1 moreCleaner arrived on time and ready to start. Moved all furniture except for pre-defined heavy pieces (china cabinet and entertainment center). He pre-treated all stains and did a thorough job throughout. When finished, he replaced all the furniture and placed Styrofoam or foil/cardboard underneath--to avoid furniture exposure to moisture in cleaned carpet. Excellent work. Very professional. Would recommend Smith-Mathis to all.

I like the fact that they use a hose from their truck. This chair we have takes a beating with 3 kids, but thanks to Smith-Mathis it looks like almost new!

 + -1 moreFrom the first contact they were nothing but professional and helpful. Jeff came out and gave us an estimate for the work - even offering the AL discount that I was not aware of. Once we choose them to complete the work, they were very accommodating to our schedule. Since this was the entire office, the work had to be completed on a Saturday. They sent two guys to complete the work - both arrived on time and were very friendly. They completed the work quickly and did a great job. We will use them again the next time we need to have the carpets cleaned.

Work was done quickly and thoroughly with very little disruption to me. Employee was very professional and helpful. He kept me very informed about the price. He warned me the paint stain might cost extra, but was able to get it out with routine measures. Very pleasant experience and would recommend to friends.

It now looks like it did the day the carpet was installed. He arrived promptly and was very courteous. He was dressed neatly in a uniform. When they came for an estimate we agreed to terms and they removed my rugs at that time. On 9/18 the rugs were returned, carpets cleaned and draperies dry cleaned. It was nice to not have to transport the draperies and get the rugs cleaned and fixed. My carpets look great. I would highly recommend this company. The employee were prompt, polite and arrived when they said they would.
Description of Work: I had all of the carpets steam cleaned; three rugs removed, cleaned, a small repair made on one rug, the rugs returned; and my draperies dry cleaned while hung.

 + -1 moreThe gentleman who removed the stain was on time and very polite. He did an excellent job. I was very discouraged before this with trying to find someone to help me. This company is excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone with a carpet stain. I felt the price was reasonable.
Description of Work: We had some stains caused by a housecleaning service that cleaned our family room carpet. They dragged our recliner across the carpet and it left furniture stains. She tried to remove it on 2 occasions unsuccessfully. I called various carpet cleaners and they said they couldn't help me. One company gave me an estimate of $300-$400 but said I'd probably have to replace the whole carpet. Finally someone recommended Smith-Mathis. They came out and completely removed the stain. I also had a bleach stain in the upstairs Master Bath that was here when we moved in and they were able to restore the color to that spot to match perfectly. They charged $126 to remove the furniture stains. And $76.50 to fix the bleach stain. They cleaned both areas with no added cost. This amount includes the 10% discount for being an Angie's List Member.
