I complained about a smell, stains and hair on the carpets when I moved into a rental house this week. Pat explained his hours of diligence before I moved in but said that his capabilities are limited if there is hair. He is set up to clean carpets, not vacuum but tried to anyway! Though I complained about one room in particular, he deoderized and cleaned all the carpets in the house again! He further left me with a spot cleaner in case. He was so friendly he taught me how to find addresses here, gave me an Angie's list flyer, played with my toddlers as he worked and then gave me his personal cell number in case I found that the treatments didn't work. He offered to take further action to satisfy our family should we need it! I not only recommend this company, but namely Pat Murray!!! His company called me to set up a time as soon as they learned of my situation. They stuck to the time and even called ahead to confirm the appointment was convenient for me on the way over. A+ team!

They were very prompt. They were very neat and cleaned up the wood around the work area. He was very pleasant and professional. I would use them again.

I have had this company out to clean carpets more than once. They are always punctual on their appointments. They are real thorough and are able to get stains up from carpet that we are not able to. I will call again!

I was able to schedule the sofa cleaning right away when I called and was given a quote over the phone which was accurate. The technician arrived on time the day of the cleaning and asked if we had anything else that needed cleaned, which we did not. He was very careful with our walls (he had a long hose the went from his truck down the stairs to our basement). He did a great job in about 45 minutes, even cleaning the back of the couch and picking a bunch of lint from a blanket off the couch.

We just moved in to a new house and had a lot of remodeling done so the floors were super dirty. They did a great job. They were extremely accurate with the quote they gave me. They were very responsive being able to come out with less than a two-day notice. Everyone was very courteous and they communicated with us on all progress from start to finish. I will definitely hire this company for all of my carpet cleaning needs, and I will recommend them to all my family and friends. The carpets look amazing. I didn't even like the carpet in the laundry room until they cleaned it - now it is all clean and easy on the eyes.

We are very pleased with the work we had done by Smith-Mathis. Dave Pope is a very professional and experienced technician. He arrived on time and completed the cleaning in much less time than we expected and at a price lower than we expected. We had a coffee stain on very light colored carpet that other carpet cleaners had not been able to remove. Dave Pope made it disappear!

We've had Smith Mathis out before and they have always done a great job. They cleaned our family room, office, 2 sets of stairs, a hallway, 3 bedrooms and 2 couches. They are able to get out stains that other vendors can not. The giant red Kool-aid stain has vanished from our son's bedroom. I was so happy as we thought we would need to replace the carpet for sure. They saved us money in the long run! They are always professional, on time and quick. Our carpets and couches always look great!

Pat Murray was the company rep who performed the work. Pat showed up early, was very professional and did an excellent job. Pat gave me advice on future spot cleaning and he got spots out of the carpet that I never thought they would. I was very pleased.

My Realtor hired a handyman to complete small projects requested of the buyer before closing on my old house. The handyman left a trail of dirt and mud on the basement stairs. We hired Smith-Mathis to help us out. We had a difficult buyer and didn't want them to see the carpet in that condition. After Smith-Mathis came out, you wouldn't have known there was an issue. On time, pleasant, with helpful suggestions. Very frank about the fact that old pet stains probably would not come out, and they did not. But rest of carpet looks great.

I expected a lot of this company, being an Angie's List Super Service Award winner for many years now, and I'm happy to say it was a great first time experience. I did not have to wait long for the service (they came the next day), the technician was very courteous, and the results were great -- at least initially. The next day, I noticed a few orangish spots on my carpet that didn't previously exist (the carpet needed to dry for them to be apparent). So, I called to ask what I could do to remedy this and Smith Mathis sent the same technician back that day to check things out. Turns out, the previous homeowners' pet must have (unbeknownst to us) left a few stains in the carpet padding that bubbled up during the cleaning extraction process. Our technician Tim did a great job of eliminating these stains, promptly and free of charge. I'm very pleased to say that from my experience, Smith Mathis does what it takes to do a job and do it right from start to finish.

My carpet looks like new and it was "bachelorized" and well broken in by my dog. I would totally recommend and use again!

I have taken a number of rugs to the Smith Mathis location to be cleaned and always been pleased. This time the rugs were too badly soiled to be cleaned on location and too heavy for me to take in, so the Company sent three people to lift very heavy furniture off them, take them away to clean, and returned them on a tight schedule (needed them for a party) in terrific condition, replacing the heavy furniture. I had the rugs cleaned before by other companies, but this was a much better job. I was also extremely pleased with their professionalism and care in moving the furniture, providing the quote, follow-up, etc.
