Very pleased! Smith-Mathis was able to schedule a cleaning with less than 24 hours notice, and on a Saturday morning, to boot. "Max" (Emiliano Guazzone) arrived promptly and was polite and unobtrusive. The cleaning went faster than I expected, and the cost was slightly below the estimate I had received by phone. My carpets look great and the house was filled with a pleasant citrus scent. I'll use Smith-Mathis again.

They were great. They got out stains that other companies could not.

The technician did a great job. There were several old stains and pet accidents that he was able to remove.

They came out for an estimate on the next day. They were very friendly, answered questions and had a nice appearance.

Dave Pope did the work and did an excellent job! He was here for almost 5 hours and went over the heavy traffic areas a second time for me.

It was a week and a half before our sons wedding and we needed our carpets cleaned. I thought about the last company that cleaned our carpet, leaving them wet and not very clean. I decided to join Angie's List. I just gave them a call and signed up. It just so happened that the company that I chose "Smith-Mathis" was not only the highest rated business in this category but they also offered a discount coupon. I called Smith-Mathis and they were able to provide service within a day or two. A very nice gentleman arrived on time, gave us a detailed estimate in writing. I accepted the estimate and he began his work. I thought that this was going to take all day, and he told me that he would be done in a couple hours. Hmmm, why so fast I thought, it normally takes all day. Such was not the case. Our carpeting was remarkably clean, fresh, new looking, stains that have never been defeated were actually gone. Plus, it didn't take all day. The last company said we need new carpeting.

Great job of cleaning with no "residue." I was also impressed that the technician was able to remove a 4 month old stain from the basement carpet.

Representative came on time in the morning, and gave me an estimate. He then completed the work in a timely manner and was very polite. My only complaints are that (1) the carpet remained quite wet in places for over a day. (2) Furniture was not moved to clean underneath it unless it was on wheels, and an area behind the sofa was not cleaned, even though accessible from the side. (3) No papers were placed under the feet of the furniture. I did not complain to the company because I didn't see all this until 12 hours after the work was done (because the carpet was too wet to walk on), and I had already paid the bill.

They quoted seven to ten work days and finished the job in five work days.

Our family room carpet had been extremely dirty (two dogs), had not been professionally cleaned for a long time, and I thought we would have to get rid of the carpet. We were able to get service in 48 hours at a convenient time for me. The man who cleaned our carpet was polite and very professional. He got some terrible spots out that my husband had previously tried unsuccessfully with many different cleaners from stores. It was polite, professional, outstanding service. The carpet looks great!

There was a large bleach color spot that they touched up on the second time out, applied dye.

I called and asked for an estimate. They said that they could come out that day and that if the estimate was OK they could do the work at that time. When he got here he took measurements and gave me the estimate. I decided to have the work done right then. I was thrilled that I did not have to wait a day or a week to get it done. He worked diligently on all of it and the carpets now look great. He also suggested that I change my furnace filter more often to avoid getting the black sooty marks at the seams. He was very pleasant and it was a good experience. He gave me the Angie's list discount since I got the information off of the web page.

Our carpeting was in miserable shape and had many stains,including red wine, and pet stains. Rudy arrived on time, explained the process thoroughly, and then gave me an estimate. I thought it would be more for all of the rooms. Rudy was confident he could get the majority of the stains out. It turns out the only one that he couldn't get completely up was a black shoe polish mark in the closet. I was completely satisfied and have already recommended Smith Mathis and Rudy to two neighbors.

He came out, did a very nice job, was right on time and didn't leave a mess when he was done. I'm thinking of using them again for re-upholstering our cloth chair. If so, we will ask for the same person we used for the last job, Jim Hornaday.

Their technician Dave, arrived on time and was very professional. He first walked through my house with me to identify the areas that needed cleaned. He then quickly provided me with an estimate that was very reasonable. He then proceeded to clean my carpets, trying especially hard to get out some tough stains. I was very pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone.

Overall, he was excellent and very professional. He did a super-super job. He came back to fix a spot that re-appeared. He was very conscientious. He is now my preference for this type of work.

They used to send 2 men. One would move the furniture and one would clean. Now they only send one and I have to request that he move the furniture to clean underneath. It seems like their service has declined since the last few times I have used them.

The Smith-Mathis representative was on time and his appearance was clean, friendly, and professional. The job was performed efficiently and methodically. Very well done.

I've been using Smith-Mathis for years now because I've tried other carpet cleaning companies and they just don't compare when it comes to the quality of work. Before you think about replacing your carpets, call Smith-Mathis, because they can turn your worst nightmare of carpet into something that looks brand new. I have 4 kids, a dog, and a cat and greatly appreciate the fact that Smith-Mathis takes care of their mess for me.

They came back out on very short notice to help with an additional problem with stretching. They were extremely accommodating. The technician, Dave, bent over backwards for this family.
