They were on time and were very courteous. They did a good job. They actually did more than cleaning. The carpeting on the steps was loose and they reattached it. I think they are an all around good company with good service.

Smith Mathis came in with their equipment checker the area I wanted done. It all was done by a very polite gentleman who took careful care of his work. He reminded me to be careful if I walked on the carpet and not slip.

The representative came out the same day that I called as I'd found out that family was coming for a visit the next day. He arrived early which gave the furniture and carpet more time to dry. He was very thorough and careful and very considerate of my walls and other furniture. The furniture looked and smelled great and the carpet was so much better than it had been when another carpet cleaning company had done it.

Great overall experience with great results. I have used this company before on my oriental rugs with also great results.

The carpet technician, Max, arrived on time and was clean, polite, and easy to talk to. Initially, he inspected the rooms to be cleaned and asked about my expectations. Since these rooms are areas where our dogs are allowed, I asked about deodorizer for both rooms, plus "stainguard" for the family room as it opens onto the deck and into the garage. While Max explained the products offered by the company, at no time did I feel pressured to buy added services, although I did add the products I asked about. Happily, I was also able to add a flight of stairs (13 steps) to the job. Before beginning any work, I was asked to sign a form with all services broken out line by line followed by the total cost for the job. The smell of the deodorizer used was very strong for a couple of days. I'm not sure that it really neutralizes the odor or just masks it as the carpet in front of the family room door was not so fresh even just a few hours after the cleaning. I will admit that this is a HIGH traffic area on shag and that the dogs like to lay there, so it may be beyond help. I was just hoping for a cleaner smell up close. While all areas looked much nicer after the cleaning and raking, I was most impressed with the job Max did on the stairs and risers. He managed to remove several spots and fluff up the fibers much better than I expected. Even my parents noticed that the carpet looked newer when they visited the following week!

We have older white carpet that was stained very badly. It took four hours to clean the carpet. I hoped it would have been cleaner than it was. The service man was very pleasant.

They did a good job cleaning the upholstery in my home. I am pleased to say that upholstery was restored to its original color. I will use this company again in the future.

We needed the one room and the hallway cleaned because it's our high traffic area, they came out and steamed cleaned these area and it didn't cost a lot of money to have this done.

Best carpet cleaning I've ever had, and I am 87 years old.

The service was excellent. The person that cleaned the carpets called to let me know he was running late, but he still arrived in the hour window that was given to me. Once he arrived and we walked through what needed cleaned, he got right to work.

He was very nice and worked hard and we were very pleased.

We are very pleased with their service. They were able to get out several stains that I was afraid were to tough and set in to remove. They even left a blower at our house and picked it up later so we could use it to expedite drying time. We'll definitely be using them again and they have become "our carpet guys".

They cleaned the carpet beautifully. I have had two different service men help me and they have both done a wonderful job and have responded well to anything that I have needed. They will even come back out if any spots show up or the carpet is not cleaned to perfection. They came when the appointment was made, they were on time, in fact one was early. They get the job done quickly, so you can get on with your day.

I wasn't pleased with the appearance with the carpet after it dried. The stretching was ok but I was not happy with the carpet cleaning. They were courteous and they did what I requested.

After getting several estimates around 3500.00 to pump out my basement and clean the carpets I decided to purchase the equipment to remove the water myself and then call Smith Mathis to clean the carpets. They came out and fit us in with in an hour of the phone call, they were very professional, very friendly, and very flexible to our needs and schedule. The cleaning was very reasonable at a little over 200.00, the rental of the dehumidifier is what cost so much with this job, at 100.00 per day. During this week I felt everyone I called was trying to up the price and get you on a list, the prices I feel were jacked up due to the everyone needing help, Smith Mathis I feel was not one of these companies they were quick, fair, and trustworthy. I recommend them highly.

He has done a wonderful job and was very considerate with using chemicals solutions due to my allergies. Very happily, both stains were removed. I have hired them before and will continue to use them in the future!

He was very knowledgeable and very nice. My carpets look great and this is the carpet cleaner of my choice.
