They did a great job of getting it out and they ended up cleaning my entire carpet for the price they charged to come to clean the spot. They came the same day I called and I will use them again in the future.

Technician, Ron Butler worked diligently to make our older carpets look fresh and clean. He was especially conscientious with the high traffic areas. We were pleased with his work and appreciated the time and effort he gave to the job. I would definitely ask for him again.

This was a bit of a mixed experience. The technician who cleaned the bedroom carpet, Mr. Pat Murray, was prompt, professional, and very thorough. I would give him A's in every category. The price for cleaning this carpet was reasonable, too, given it was only the one room. Cleaning the area rugs was a bit less satisfactory. First, I thought it was pretty expensive, given the size of the two rugs. It also took a long time. Mr Murray picked up the area rugs when he cleaned the bedroom carpet. It was two full weeks before they were returned. Admittedly, Mr. Murray had told us it would take up to 10 business days, but we were surprised at the estimate and surprised it took the full time. In fairness, the area rugs also look great after the cleaning. One other minor annoyance was that on the day the rugs were to be returned, they called at 8:00 AM to tell us they would return the rugs right away. We had to ask them to reschedule for the afternoon because of a prior appointment. Had they called the day before, this last minute confusion could have been prevented.

They did a great job and it was wonderful.

I called them after I had discovered the vomit and they had a person come over in less than 30 minutes. Very impressed by the speed of the response. The guy over the phone told me they had a $75 minimum which is why I gave a B for price cause the area was not that big. Tim, the service person who came to my house was very professional and quickly assessed and cleaned the area for me. He did a great job as I no longer can tell where that vomit was.

We are expecting them this afternoon and have always had an excellent experience with them.

THIS WAS A RENTAL PROPERTY AND THE FORMER TENANTS LEFT TWO STAINS--WHICH TOTALLY DISAPPEARED AFTER HE FINISHED. IF THEY HAD NOT DISAPPEARED, WE WOULD HAVE EITHER HAD TO BUY A NEW CARPET OR TEAR IT OUT AND GO WITH HARDWOOD FLOORS AND BUY A RUG. HE SAVED US MONEY!

Tim Smith of Smith-Mathis, Inc. did a superlative job, start to finish. My carpets look better than I had any right to expect, given their age and the heavy traffic they endure. Tim was on time, professional, and helpful. He sets high standards for himself. I wish I could find this level of careful service in every category.

Smith-Mathis always does a great job. I use them on a regular basis to clean my staircases and heavy traffic areas. While all the Smith-Mathis employees are courteous and prompt, Pat Murray is my carpet technician of choice. He goes above and beyond to make sure the client is satisfied. I recommend Smith-Mathis and suggest Angie List members request Pat. He recently removed a wine spill from our carpet and recleaned other areas he felt needed a touch up. He obviously takes pride in his work.

Tim Smith came and cleaned several rooms which included some areas with pet stains. He did a very thorough job, including cleaning a small area not listed on the estimate. Tim listened to what I wanted him to do and worked hard to get the job done. He protected the corners of my walls. I received 10% off since I am an Angies List member.

Overall he was efficient and did a terrific job cleaning the carpets including a stairway. I was very pleased with his work and would use his services again.

Went great! Ron came early Saturday morning. We had some high traffic spots that needed special attention as well as another stain we couldn't get out ourselves. Everthing came out great! Ron was very professional in explaining what he was doing and why. He paid special attention to our trouble spots and sprayed them again after cleaning the carpet. We are very pleased. One thing we were especially impressed with was how Ron handled a competitor question we asked. We didn't realize there was steam cleaning versus dry cleaning of carpets. He was very professional in explaining the difference between the treatments, but never once said anything negative about the competitors. We were impressed with that. Ron had just recently started with the company, but has been in the business for several years, so we don't know if that is a company policy or Ron just being extremely professional on his own. It was a welcomed change.

The people at Smith-Mathis were courteous and professional, both in scheduling my appointment, and in the actual carpet cleaning service. They were on time, completed the work quickly, and the carpets looked great.

Charged $996.30 which we paid. They called a week later and said they had overcharged us $200.00 and sent us a check for the amount. We have used this company before for carpet cleaning and highly recommend them.

We had really badly stained carpet (thanks kids), and the technician was upfront and honest that he wouldn't be able to get every stain out. We fully expected that and appreciated the fact that he didn't lie about it and say that he could get it looking brand new. That being said, we were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work. Even the bad stains were drastically reduced. We also had him clean a sectional couch which was also pretty badly stained. If nothing else, it was nice knowing that it was clean. He took his time and did a very thorough job, was very professional and courteous, and we were very satisfied with the overall value and job that he did. We recommend Smith-Mathis and will definitely use them again in the future!
