Smith Mathis Inc

I found this company initially through Angie's List and have been using them regularly once or twice a year for several years. Many different technicians have been out over the years but I have always been pleased with their work. They are professional, efficient, make suggestions when appropriate but don't try to sell me other services, and generally do good work. I have had no reason to try out any other company.

I use them all the time. It always goes very well. We really enjoy using them. They're always on time. They're always very good about coming in and doing everything, seem very careful about making sure that they're very clean about getting everything done. We've been using them for probably at least 4 or 5 years. We've used them for quite a while. I've recommended them to my and to other couple of people. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna call them here as soon as I get my button gear and call them.

They are excellent. We generally take the drapery in to them. We have used them before and I think we found them through Angie's List. It's a dry cleaning shop that we take the drapery to. It's neat, clean and the help we get there is professional.

Brian was great!, He did a great job and very professional.

My experience with them didn't go well. My carpet look worse now then it did before they started. My carpet looks better when I clean it myself and that's what i'm going to have to do.

Arrived on time as arranged and did an excellent job. My carpet looks better than it has for awhile.

The three workers were courteous and responsive to my special requests.

Tim Smith was very good because he cleaned my carpet so well that now it looks as if it has just been installed. He did the job to a higher standard than I have, and he delivers what he promises and more. Furthermore they were able to clean my mother-in-law's house which is thirty miles away at no extra cost for travel.

The gentleman was polite. He knew what he was doing and did a good job. I was very satisfied. He came in and tells me what he's going to do, what it needed and did exactly what he did in a timely fashion.

Brian came out and stretched the carpet at our house that was laid over 2 years ago. It wasn't stretched properly when it was laid by another company. Brian has done a good job and been out a couple of times to get problematic areas done right. He has been very good at getting the job down and about spots that have popped up that we have not called about while on the visit.

Tim Smith, the technician, arrived promptly. Seems likes carpets are not clean until Tim sees so; I literally could not tell where the stains were after the cleaning. Took almost four hours to complete but the results were well worth the time. This is the fourth time I have used Smith-Mathis and the second time Tim has cleaned my carpets. As long as Tim can clean my carpets, I'll use Smith-Mathis in the future; they have my business for carpet cleaning.

They were great. I would give them an "A" across the board. They came when they said, did a nice cleaning job, and were very good about what they did. They came on time, got the job done and knew what they were doing. It was just a professional deal.

Holy Cow! Why did I wait so long to call these guys? My carpet looks just like it did the day that it was installed. Two thumbs up, way up! Our technician, Ron, was so courteous and professional and pleasant. We will definitely be using the services of Smith-Mathis again.

Great. Tim Smith arrived on time. He put everything in writing before he began working. Then he did exactly what I wanted him to do.. starting with my dining room first as I asked. He gave extra attention to spots that I pointed out. He protected my walls with barriers. He worked steadily until he was done. My carpets look clean. I ask for Tim to come once a year.. sometimes twice a year if I need.

Patrick arrived as scheduled, and did a great job cleaning the carpet. He did a very thorough job.

The technician, Ron Lazzell did a great job and we were very satisfied with the results of the cleaning.

The job was done perfectly. I was extremely happy with the results. Dave was very much on time and did a very thorough job with the cleaning. I am very picky about cleaning and he totally met my expectations. The carpet and sofas, chairs, ottomans look great. I would definitely recommend using this company.

We are very pleased with the work done by Smith Mathis from the beginning to the end. They called to let us know exactly when our technician would arrive, and he did. When Tim saw the carpet in our basement and the ripples in it, he politely suggested that we reschedule so that he could come back with the proper equipment to stretch the carpet. He is professional and knowledgable; he was so apologetic about needing to reschedule, but he had no way of knowing what he was getting into with our situation. He returned today with the necessary equipment and spent a long time on stretching the badly rippled carpet. He explained that it had never been installed correctly, and he gave the time needed to do it right. He then cleaned the carpet, and it looks great. He did a fantastic job, especially on the restretching. We are so impressed with Tim, and Smith Mathis.

Provider arrived to under take cleaning draperies. Unfortunately one set of sheers was stained or showed cleaning marks caused by cleaning application (fluid) ?. I called provider to discuss with operator who said if I had questions to call. To date ( 7-29-2013) they have not called back. I question the abilities and professionalism of this company Smith - Mathis Inc. I would not recommend anyone use any service offered by this company. A company who will not answer a complaint or question is not worth using and cannot be trusted.

Very thorough. They did a good job. They were on time and treated me with respect.

The associate was timely, nice, and explained what he needed to do. Time took around an hour and we were pleased with the results. There was a tack strip that needed to stay so if I had to do it over again, I would have asked if he could have cut a bigger replacement in order to remove the tack strip. Then again, I'm not a carpetman and that might not even be possible.

Their service was very good. I was very happy with the work that they did. I have used them multiple time and they have always done a good job.

Pat Murray is the very likeable, professional gentlemen that Smith-Mathis sent to my home. He is personable, very hard working, and knows how to get problem areas treated successfully. As I wrote above, somehow a tar like substance got on my new carpeting. (Yes, I have kids.) Well, Pat got out those nuisance stains and the overall price was a bargain. Smith-Mathis does such a great job, at a very reasonable price, I don't plan to ever take my business elsewhere. And Smith-Mathis, your man Pat is a keeper!
