As part of his initial proposal, Karl came out after dark with various LED lights to help us visualize where to install, and how they could look once installed. I think we spent about two hours moving lights & transformers around the house. It was worth the effort. Karl never pressured or sold us. We found ourselves asking him to try lights here & there while asking for his honest input on how they would look with other lights installed. Sometimes he agreed, and sometimes he talked us out of the fixture based on how other lights would illuminate the area. We ended up installing about 50 lights - about half of them on our stone/masonry steps (front entrance, side entrance, back porch, steps to back yard). The step lights were labor intensive since they involved drilling +/- 15” holes, “slicing” the mortar with an angle grinder, hiding the wires & filling the slices with material that matches the mortar. The lights look like they were installed when the steps were built. No exposed wires anywhere. Of course, this may not always be possible depending the step design and material. If you do the math, our cost per light was on par with the industry standard. Sure, you can pay less (and I tired), but we feel we got a good value with Karl and he uses good quality lights (not big box store lights). We ultimately chose him because of his polite helpful personality and knew that we could work with Karl after the lights were installed. We did ask him to come back a few times to tweak & adjust - Karl was always quickly on scene to do the tweak or make the fix. He didn’t invoice us until everything was perfect. We are very pleased with his installation.

The work was done in a timely manner, even finishing before they thought they would. When they left, the yard looked as it did before the wire burying. He also came out immediately to slightly change the position of a spot light on one of the trees.

They were great! We had 3 quote from other providers on Angies list. it took 1 that was highly rated 2 weeks to get a quote back to me, and then I could not get them to return a call. I just wanted a sketch of where they proposed to put the landscape lights so I could see it! They finally showed back up to the sketch and they just took $250 off their quote and then were still not returning calls/ emails. I had another company quote, but they were $1000 higher than the rest. Luminocity was the only company that recommended lights for additional trees in the yard, had a quote to me without being asked and within 48 hours, follow up on emails and calls, and brought ideas to me on the product. They scheduled a day to do the work and were done in only a few hours. I really could not be happier and have had neighbors comment on how great it all looks.

The lighting looks great. A house and landscape looks so much better with the right landscape lighting. I have enjoyed working with this company for years. They can customize to your budget. If you don't have any landscape lighting and are interested, I suggest exploring your options with this company.

Glad to have Karl back in the business, he took great care of our landscape lighting. made appropriate suggestions for us to add timers that will reduce the number of times we have to mess with the time changes, etc. made some minor repairs to our system that were needed. Karl arrived on time, was able to come when my schedule allowed. everything is working perfectly and looks beautiful.

It is hard to find really good customer service these days, but Karl Lundberg epitomizes excellent customer service! We had Luminocity install our landscape lights about 3 years ago and were extremely happy with the installation, so were disappointed when Luminocity closed their doors. However, they have recently reopened for business, which was great news for us as we recently had 2 of our lights in need of repair. Karl was very quick to respond and fixed the lights very promptly and didn't even charge us for the repair. I would highly recommend Luminocity for any landscape lighting needs!

They also checked the bulbs and made sure everything worked right. They were fantastic. I have used them numerous times.

Overall, the work was done professionally and the two employees of the company explained how to use the wireless menu device. They took their time since we are technologically impaired. We have no complaints. We definitely recommend this company.

They did a great job. The work went as expected. They delivered what they promised.

They had installed the bulb and it burned out two weeks later. They had put the screws in too tight and I could not get the cover off to change it. They charged me a very large amount to come and fix it.

They come out after dark to show how the lighting looks. We got several estimates and chose Carl. All the estimates were comparable, but we chose Carl because of personality, salesmanship, friendliness, and competency. We are very pleased with the work.

We highly recommend Outdoor Lighting Perspectives because they actually light your house before you spend a dime (with sample lights.)

WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR LIGHTS AND WOULD WORK WITH STEVE AGAIN!

THE SENSOR THAT MAKES THE LIGHTS COME ON AT DUSK HAS NEVER WORKED PROPERLY. INITIALLY, THE LIGHTS WOULD COME ON SOMETIMES, AND SOMETIMES, THEY WOULDN'T. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY TO LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM. I LET THEM KNOW THAT THEY NEEDED TO COME LOOK AT THE LIGHTS IN THE EVENING SO THAT THEY COULD SEE THEY WERE NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. EVERY TIME THEY WOULD COME OUT, IT WAS DURING THE DAY. THEY WOULD ALWAYS SAY THAT THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. I WAS SURPRISED TO RECEIVE AN INVOICE FOR $65 FOR A SERVICE CALL. THE PROBLEM HAS NEVER BEEN RESOLVED. THE TWO SECTIONS OF LIGHTS COME ON AT DIFFERENT TIMES. WE HAVE HAD TO REPLACE 10 OF THE BULBS. I HAVE TAKEN THE TIMERS OFF BECAUSE THEY DID NOT WORK CONSISTENTLY. WHEN THEY WERE DOING THE WORK, THEY LET ME KNOW THAT THEY WERE NOT LICENSED ELECTRICIANS WHICH SURPRISED ME BECAUSE THEY WERE WORKING WITH ELECTRICITY. WE ARE VERY UNHAPPY AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
