Karl responded promptly to my request for a proposal, came up with a good plan and completed the work promptly at a very fair price. Karl and his team are first-rate.

Great, Karl and his son did a terrific job, came back twice to check the results, changed a few things to make the lighting better and was very professional and determined to do the best job possible. The price was a bit salty but I feel I got what I paid for from a man of integrity and honesty.

It went fine. It was more than I wanted to spend, but Karl Lundberg was very thorough about the job and takes great pride in making outdoor lighting all it can be. Karl did a nice job of making sure our new lights matched out existing lights.

Karl knows his business! I had purchased too many path lights for my property. Karl told me he would install them if I wished; however, he recommended against it. Karl mapped out my property and determined where the lights should be placed. His team arrived on time and spent the day removing the old fixtures, burying new wiring, and installing the new lights. It took around 9 hours. When they were finished, I asked Karl for the invoice. He insisted I not pay him until I lived with the lighting for a few days. He wanted to set up an evening appointment to return so that we could walk through the property and determine if there was a need to adjust any of the lights, or add new ones. Karl arrived and we determined where new lights should be added. Karl suggested that one of the spots his team installed be moved so that it didn't shine on the house next door. I hadn't even noticed that. Karl's team returned and made all the necessary adjustments. I then called Karl and asked if they could adjust the spot light on my water fountain. That was done within a few days. I then lived with the lighting for a couple weeks and was completely satisfied with everything. Karl then provided me with an invoice.

They were willing to customize a lighting solution to fit my particular needs, desired effect and budget.

Lights are beautiful. Installation was easy. After they were installed we had trouble with one because of the landscapers. Luminocity came out and immediately helped us fix that. So easy to organize and such a beautiful service. Highly recommend!

Our experience was outstanding! Karl and his team were extremely responsive, upfront and professional. They are dedicated to making sure their customers are happy with their experience including returning for minor adjustments to the lights after the initial installation. Karl and his team were great! I'm on our neighborhood's HOA board and I had to get two other quotes. He had the best price, but more than that, returned my calls within hours (the others didn't) and provided me with the information quickly. He cares deeply about the quality of work that's done and he definitely knows his business! He's very knowledgeable on available options and what would work best with our needs.

I ran into Karl at the Indianapolis garden and patio show and when I went up to his booth the first thing I noticed was that there were people there who had already had their lighting installed who were just there to thank him for a good job. They recommended him highly so I already had a good feeling about him. He responded promptly to my request for a quote and within a week the lighting was perfectly installed. It was really quite miraculous. He was very easy to work with and helped keep the cost down when possible without sacrificing quality of the work. I have no qualms about giving him my highest recommendation. Even after the work was done he called to follow up to be sure I was pleased with the work.

Went well, as it always has with Luminocity. Carl came out and drew up the plan/estimate and a team was out within a week or so to get everything done. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Luminocity.

It went very well. The owner Karl and his team were very knowledgable and professional. When Karl came to the house he brought me the actual light fixtures to show me what he would be using, and he offered suggestions for us to think about. After the install Karl drove past the house at night (3x I believe) and would send the team out in the morning to tweak something that he wanted to change, the angle of where the light hit or the color of the lights. He then makes an appointment for all of us to meet outside at night to see if we wanted to change anything. Karl is a veteran who has served multiple tours and had leadership roles, his wife is a teacher. Luminosity was a great choice for us and Karl is just an all around great guy with integrity.

The job went very well. Karl Lundberg has a specialty in outdoor lighting. He was very prompt in coming to inspect the work that needed to be done. He made very specific and very good suggestions. He came a few days later with his helper and the work was completed in one day. Karl offers a quality line of lighting products. The products and his work have an excellent warranty.

Karl's work is incredible. The designs very effectively highlight accentuate the investments in architecture and landscaping that we have made over the years. In addition to the awesome aesthetic appeal, the lighting design created increased functionality in our outdoor entertainment spaces. Karl and his team are extremely proactive and responsive to maintenance needs for the system. Karl is always accessible. Luminocity is not the cheapest, you pay a premium for excellence, by the value of the work is so incredible. We get lots of compliments and inquiries re how our house and yard have been lit so beautifully.

Very well. I particularly liked that a suggestion was made to move a light fixture to highlight an existing tree. This light had previously uplit a tree that had died. No charge was made to move the light.

Karl was awesome from start to finish. He carefully assessed our property and gave great recommendations for lighting placement. At our request, he happily returned after the installation to tweek things a bit. They hung LED party string lights for us as well. It was not the easiest of jobs because it had to span a large space. They were very careful with the installation and even provided me with a custom made extension tool that enables me to take the lights down easily. However, we like them so much, I think they will just come down over the winter. Overall, Karl and his guys could not have been better to work with and provided great value.

Karl was wonderful to work with. He came out met with us and talked us through our options. Then, he did the evening demonstration. He told us if a light doesn't work at any time, that he would come over and fix it immediately. After talking to several of his reversals, we were sold... The life-time guarantee on the light fixture is impressive. The job was done in a day. His crew was wonderful. We have been so happy with the lights. They look outstanding. We have received several compliments. Definitely recommend Luminocity.

We've been a customer of Luminocity since October 2005 and have always been pleased with their work. This install was very quick (replacement of our old outdoor lighting system with improved LED lights and fixtures so we didn't need new wiring and timers installed). Karl was very professional and was conscientious of our landscaping and plants. He provided an accurate estimate, including a picture of the new brass lights that would be installed. He was a bit difficult to get in touch with initially, but I believe he was busy with the Indianapolis Home and Patio Show going on at the time of our initial call. The new LED lights look great; we're very pleased with the results and his attention to detail in getting the placement just right for maximum effect on our home and our trees. Further, we like to change the color of our outdoor lighting at Halloween and Christmas using colored lenses. Karl went above and beyond in providing a cost-effective option for us to change the color of our new LED lights without having to disassemble the fixtures to change the bulbs or to add colored lenses. Very much appreciated!

We would highly recommend them to others. They were constantly ahead of schedule.

Karl and his co-worker showed up in the morning and went straight to work. They finished in about 6 hours and left no mess behind. They worked so quietly and efficiently that we almost forgot they were working outside our back door. He walked thru each product he used and how to use our timer. His professionalism is as impressive as his work and light placement. My wife and I were very impressed with his work. I have already recommend him to others.

From beginning to end Karl was amazing to work with. His communication was always timely and courteous. Having read nearly all of his reviews I had a pretty good idea of how satisfied his customers have been which inspired quite a bit of confidence in his work. However, upon request he provided a couple dozen references to enable us to view other completed projects of his. After taking a tour around town looking at them we knew we had chosen the right man for the job. He came out shortly after my initial call to walk the property with me in order to survey my property and listen to what we wanted the end product to be. He later followed up with a second visit where he presented his printed design and itemized cost of the project. What I really appreciated about his presentation was that 1) It laid out the project cost in logical and intuitive segments that allowed us to determine how much we wanted to do now vs in the future 2) His costs were inclusive so what he presented was what we paid w/o hidden or surprise add ins (e.g. tax, or unexpected up charges, etc) and 3) He did not pressure us to complete more than we were pre pared to complete and gave us the time we needed to evaluate and discuss his estimate after his presentation without the, oh so common "well if you buy today i can knock off XYZ amount". Once we decided to move forward he laid out the timing of when he could complete the project and clearly communicated how long it would take and his estimate of time was exactly what it took.. One of the many impressive points of his installation is that Karl demonstrated his commitment to ensuring that we were 100% satisfied with the end product and light placement. This was demonstrated by the fact that one of the lights that was placed on a baby Japanese Maple (barely 6' tall) and due to how thin the tree branches and leaves were it took a couple light location moves before we were satisfied with the lighting effect. Karl graciously made each adjustment to allow us to see how different placements would look at night. The end result has been nothing short of spectacular, and Karl did not charge the final balance until he knew we were 100% satisfied with everything. We now have the best night time curb appeal and lighting of any of the homes in the area, and can not rave enough about how proud we are each night when we return home and are welcomed by our home which has been truly transformed by the lighting that has been placed by Luminocity. If you are contemplating using Luminocity/Karl for your landscape lighting project, you should stop contemplating and comparing because there is no comparison and I can tell you that you will not find another landscape lighting company in Indianapolis that has the sheer volume of satisfied customers that Luminocity/Karl does. My only regret is that I have been sooo busy that it has taken about a month for me to get around to completing this review. However, from the passion in my review I think it is clear that our satisfaction has not waned one bit since our lighting was installed. Thanks Karl for making our home the envy of our neighbors!!

Awesome! Let Karl and his sons light up your life. We have lived in our home for about a year. Karl stopped by once to let us know his company installed the lights and if we needed anything to let him know. No pressure. Not a sales pitch. Karl is such a great personable person, it was nice to chat. Well after a while, we discovered not all our lights worked. He came out, serviced all the lights, repaired some of the covers that were melted over the years, replaced all the bulbs, fixed broken lights and installed a daylight sensor so we never have to set a timer again (I love that thing!). The price was excellent. It was all guaranteed for a year - so, even if I am digging and accidentally chop through a wire - he'll come out and fix it. Bulb goes out - Karl will be there. So the service is great. Moreover, he was just a great person to work with. He is not pushy and come off as very much caring about his work, enjoys what he is doing, and is very professional. He had one of his sons with him - all the same goes for him as well. I would hire him again - I will hire Luminocity again!

Karl did a thorough job of assessing our current lighting and made some recommendations for an enhanced lighting look. We implemented all of his suggestions and we are very pleased with the end product. He did a good job of communicating his schedules and did exactly what he proposed.

Karl was very helpful in providing a staged approach to installing a lighting system on our property. He listened to our needs and developed a plan that had both security and aesthetics in mind. The end result is a beautifully lit path and entryway that has truly enhanced the value of our home. I have used Karl Lundberg/ Luminosity several times after he was recommended to me by a lawn care provider. The lighting system was installed originally by a landscape company, but they were not particularly responsive when I needed information on repairing one of the fixtures. Once I started using Luminocity, I've never called anyone else. Karl has always called me back promptly and he or one of his employees has been able to get to me within a week.
