KINDER ELECTRIC CO

We had no power on the coldest night of the year, 12/11/13. I called Kinder at 4:30 PM to replace the lug in the meter box. They were there at 7:30 AM the next morning and had us back on line in two hours.

I had one of three connected signs that did not come on with the other two signs. I had not had any contact with the sign company for over three years and thought they were out of business. So I called Kinder Electric who I had used several years ago and I see their trucks regularly. My call was late in the day, about 4:30 and the man that answered the phone took my name and number to have the "girls" call and make an appointment when they came in the next day. I did not receive this call the next day so I decided to see if I could locate the sign company that installed the sign and call them for service. They are still in business and made arrangements to send out a service man the next week. In the mean time a service man from Kinder showed up un-announced. I had not received the previous mentioned call so did not prepare anyone to handle the sign repair. I was not in at the time but the ladies that work here showed the service man where the light panel is located. The service man inspected the main circuit panel and turned ON a circuit breaker that was turned off because there is no electric wire attached and reset the time on a timer that is NO LONGER USED. He did not even check the sign to see if his activity was successful. Of course it was not. The sign company serviceman arrived at his scheduled time and determined that the power supply (transformer) was defective. He replaced the transformer and fixed the sign. The sign works perfectly. I have NOW RECEIVED AN INVOICE from Kinder Electric for sending out their serviceman. I am disputing the charge. They in turn are threatening to turn the invoice over to a collector.

Mike was very prompt scheduling an appointment for the estimate. When selected, Kinder was quick to schedule the work day and time. They called to confirm the week before the scheduled work. Both electricians arrived promptly at 8 a.m. and quickly and efficiently installed all the fans. They were thorough, cleaned up ALL debris and assured all switches, fans etc. were working to our satisfaction. I would definitely hire them again!

Adam did a wonderful job finding the perfect solution for us when others failed.

Matt came by and got me started and provided estimate. Then when I was ready, Chris the electrician came on time and reasonably priced, knowledgeable and educational. Very willing to show me how to do things that were at a homeowner/ do-it-yourself beginner level.

Adam was very professional and proved to be a great resource for answering questions about electrical items we were considering for the future. He gave us excellent advice. He has been here twice and is coming back in June to hang an additional ceiling fan.

Kinder Electric was the electrical contractor on our new home. Now just a few years later, we are moving out of state and had a buyer inspection on our home. Kinder sent Chris to install a smoke detector in our loft bedroom. He was very professional, courteous, and asked for my vacuum cleaner to clear up any mess on my carpet. When I called the company to ask a question unrelated to the smoke detector - Melissa took all of my information, was helpful friendly and concerned. I also spoke to Matt who called me back to answer my question. I cannot speak highly enough of this company. They are honest, caring, courteous and professional people. I would highly recommend them! They went above and beyond!

They were absolutely excellent. The electrician was fast and courteous. The outcome was perfect.

I called and described the problem on 12/27. They were booked for the day but put me down for the following day. Matt Kinder called about 8:15 on 12/28 and told me he could arrive around 9 AM. Very punctual. Elavuated problem, explained issues, replaced breaker. In and out in less than an hour. The only problem (my fault as well) is that he never indicated a price for the work. Though I feel the price was fairly competitive, he and I should have discussed it prior to work actually being done. Matt Kinder was very professional, answered all my questions, and did a great job. No problems since.

They were inexpensive, quick, and did their follow up phone calls in a timely manner.

Another company recommended them. They were professional and punctual. They stuck to the budget. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. They were quick to respond.

Their prices are very competitive. I could probably get it done cheaper but it wouldn?t be done as well. They come when they say they are going to come and their workmen are good. They clean up after themselves. I usually have everything laid out for them so they don?t have to offer suggestions.

Everything has gone very well. Their prices are surprisingly reasonable, and they are professional and quick. I have been happy with them.

This was a great experience. Someone from Kinder came out to the house to see exactly what problems I was having. He offered alternative solutions and made sure I understood everything. I had already received an over the phone estimate from another company that I thought was high, but Kinder's estimate was very comparable. I chose them because they actually came out and looked at everything so knew the estimate would be accurate. They emailed me the estimate a couple of days later. After approving the estimate they were able to schedule the work within one week and worked with my schedule limitations. The crew showed up on time, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be more pleased.

Kinder was recommended by a friend. When I called to schedule service, I wasn't able to make an appointment with the person answering the phone. Instead, she had to call the service guy, then call me back with a suggested time. The service personnel called to confirm the time and let me know when they'd arrive; and they arrived right on time. They worked quickly and were very professional.

I used this company to redo any needed electrical work in my niece's small home. I had used this company previously and was so pleased with them and their work, I didn't hesitate to call them for this much needed work. The situation was some of the wall plugs would not hold a cord. I was very pleased with the work this company did to make this home much, much safer!

It went great. They were very professional and have done great work. They worked closely with me to help create exactly what I needed in my remodel. They have also done other work on time and on budget.

Always on time, they are about as reasonable as any electrical work to be done. We have used several times in the past.

Two men showed up to do do the work, I assumed one was an apprentice. The job required only one person and took less than an hour. A week later I got a bill for four hours of labor. I called to complain and got someone who refused to discuss the matter and sounded annoyed that I would question their decision to send two people to do one person's job. With no consideration for the thousands of dollars I had paid them during construction, he told me the charge would stand. I called my builder, who was surprised at the treatment I received and advised me to call the owner, Randy Kinder. I called several times. None were returned. Without ever contacting me again, they turned the case over to a bill collector and threatened legal proceedings. I felt I had been treated disrespectfully. I paid the bill but won't do business with them again and neither should you.

The gentleman arrived on time, and did a great job. He talked through everything with me before beginning. We decided to add additional wall switch and lighting roughing half way down the way as well. He cleaned up after himself and the work was done very well.

I CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE AND THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. I CALLED THEM AGAIN A WEEK LATER AND THEY MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR 4 DAYS LATER. NO ONE SHOWSED UP SO I CALL TO ASK ABOUT THE APPOINTMENT AND THEY TELL ME IT IS FOR ANOTHER WEEK OUT. I TOLD THEM TO FORGET ABOUT IT I WILL GO ELSEWHERE.
