I used them previously and was pleased. This time I was not pleased at all. They had 4 different electricians working various days and since I was unable to supervise directly (I mistakenly trusted them from previous jobs). Most importantly the billing did not reflect the sub par professionalism of their electricians. Broken barn door. Dropped (broken glass) light bulbs and screws inside barn etc etc.

It went smoothly and well. They were very professional and pleasant, They were there right when they said they would be, and got to work. They were very trustworthy.

They installed a new electrical panel and provided service to the kitchen microwave that was being installed.

Electrician walked right into garage and punched the reset button and the light come on. He wasn't here 5 minutes and charged me $100. No kind of discount although I'm 75 yrs. old, or the fact it toke him 1 minute to due that. The church I attend recommended them. They are unhappy how I was treated.

Kinder was very responsive. Mike S came out and did a detailed exam and quote. A few days later an electrician came out and did very detailed quick work. The night before the closing we lost power from a breaker due to a pinched wire and I emailed Mike S late at night. He responded early and Brent came out at 8am and made the fix before 9am closing. Very happy with these guys and will use again.

That man was thorough, incredibly fast and everything works beautifully. So I have no complaints. He uncrossed the switches. In one of them the wire had been cut. He told me I was lucky I had never gotten shocked with that one. He was very nice. In my experience with electricians I have found they are very expensive. He was very reasonable for the time he was there.

Kinders did a great job. 3 other electricians had come out but couldn't locate source of problem. They came out and located the problem and made repairs. Very pleased with their work. Knew their business. Knew how to locate the problem. Would certainly use again if needed electrical work.

Technician arrived on time, reviewed the requested work and proceeded to complete each project. He was professional and worked efficiently. High quality work, cleaned after completing each task and we're very happy with the results.

The whole experience was awesome. They came out to give us an estimate. We were not sure exactly how we should do the lights. They recommended the number of lights and location. We were able to come up with a plan with no ceiling repair, which is what really wanted. We received an estimate quickly and thought it was very reasonable for the work. On the day of the work the electrician showed up on time. He was very friendly and did an awesome job. He treated my house as if it was his own. He made sure to keep everything clean. I even asked about different color switches from what we planned for. He said they didn’t have them on the truck. I said no problem but he went above and beyond and had different color switches brought out to the house. We have found my electric company for all future electrical work on our house.

Since the current electric box was full, with no additional space, a new box with new circuit breakers was installed in the basement. An outlet box was installed for the microwave in the cabinet above the stove. All work was done very professionally and very neatly done. Project took about 4 hours.

He was good and knew what he was doing. They came out when they said they would and didn't hesitate on getting started. I had some questions and he went through and explained some things to me.

The smoke detector in my bedroom, the battery in which I just changed two days ago, went off, not with a chirping sound, but with a continuous high-pitched sound (not a fire alarm signal). Re-changing the battery didn't stop it. I knew I couldn't sleep with that, and so chose Kinder from Angie's list. Cynthia, who answered the phone, was very concerned, and she talked to one of the service technicians, who said to change the batteries in all the smoke detectors. I wasn't able to do that, because I got vertigo and (blush) fell off the stepstool when trying to change the second battery. I couldn't even get the third smoke detector to screw back on its mounting, and just gave up on the project. I called Cynthia back, as she had told me to do, and she said that, while there weren't any technicians available this late in the day (it was about 3:30), she would contact one who lived in Noblesville (where I live) and see if he would be willing to help. He--Adam--came out within an hour, and took care of everything. As it turned out, the old smoke detectors were about at the end of their useful lives. He replaced all seven in no time. Unlike the old ones, the new ones had a battery compartment that was accessible without removing the unit from the ceiling, and the new ones also had a little bigger mounting, which covered small holes in the ceiling that had formed from replacing batteries over 10 years. He advised me that if one of the new smoke alarms was ever triggered by a fire, that the one causing the alarm would have a flashing red light, and that I should look for that to see which one it was. I'm all thumbs when it comes to such things, and Adam was extremely patient with me, taking time to explain things to me. I think he normally works 'til 4:30, and it was 5:30 when he finished at my house, yet he wasn't the least perturbed. He worked very fast indeed, and took all the old devices with him, as well as the packaging for the new ones. He was personable as could be, and I felt like I had a friend in my corner, rather than just a technician I'd never met. I couldn't be happier. Adam absolutely refused to take the tip I tried to give him, a rarity with contractors in my experience. He couldn't have been nicer or more competent, and I'm so pleased to have met him and to have experienced his wonderful service and that of the company.

I had others come out in and price it and they were very reasonable compared to everybody else and they were really good, quick, efficient. I called the people that put the sunroom out for me. They recommended them and they were right because they were really good.

EXCELLENT! We were able to get a very fast appointment and they were on time. Excellent.

Called and left a message on Saturday, Jan 17th. The returned my call on Monday and were here on Tuesday, which was what i needed to accommodate the painters. Very pleased they made the appointment happen, in short notice. He was on time. Got the job done quickly and left me the materials I needed to have the painters put on the cover plates. Will call them again for any electrical needs.

I feel the job was does well. The service personnel were very professional and new their profession. T would highly recommend this company.

All communication was professional and prompt. Work was quality, employees were friendly and answered any and all questions.

They were excellent. Matt Kinder came within an hour of me calling, went over to the breaker board, marked which switches were for which parts of the house, and got my electricity working right away. He was very kind and didn't charge me for service. If I ever need electrical service in the future I will certainly call them

Excellent experience, again. We have two-way light switches in our laundry room. They didn't work properly - i.e. If one switch was "up" the other switch may or may not have worked. One switch seemed bad - it would work sometimes if I jiggled the toggle. I replaced the switch, but we still had the inconsistency problem. Then I started switching wires around until nothing worked. Kinder took care of that. And I didn't burn the house down.

We need to call them again. They were very understanding because we had kind of an emergency deal. It was very cold. They came out at 8'o clock in the morning and they had to bring a heater, so they could drill down the old line to replace it with the new. We were very impressed with them. They cleaned up and left here by 11:30. We would definitely use them in the future.

Electricians showed up as scheduled within the 2 hour window, but didn't call ahead of time to let me know they were headed my way. No big deal, but I was out running errands b/c they were on the backside of the window. All was good though. I gave them my garage code and they started moving equipment and supplies to the basement. I gave them the specs of what I needed and that was it... they hit it out of the ballpark. I have several more rooms to add recessed lighting in and I will be using Kinder again! UPDATE: During the initial wiring, 2 receptacles were accidentally tied to a switch. Kinder was notified of the problem and came to fix it fast and properly at no extra charge!

Excellent service. We've used them several times in the past and have always been pleased. Great guys to work with, very customer-service oriented. Can't say enough good things about Kinder.

We live in a condo in what once was a barn. It has some very unusual electrical and plumbing circuits. A sump pump in the crawl space wasn't working. Turns out both an electrical AND a plumbing problem: The circuit was faulty (disconnected from a circuit that also serves one outlet in a bathroom two levels above the crawl space???) and the pump was shot. Adam, the tech, had to literally crawl around in the "crawl" space and in an upstairs closet to locate the problem. He earned his keep. Now to call the plumber who discovered the crawl space was a pool because the sump pump wasn't working to replace the pump.

They were wonderful. The owner Mike came out with some other people to do some work. We had them here for 2 days. We called the woman who did our kitchen and we asked her to find someone to fix an electrical issue and she said she wold call Mike because he is the one who originally did the electrical work in our kitchen. So they knew our electrical system. They went throughout all of the house and made sure that there were aluminum connections to the aluminum wires so there were no chances of fire. We've been in this house for 46 years and we've never had a problem. They charge $100 for the first hour and $55 for the rest. They were here for the 12th and 13th of December. They were very polite and very efficient.

They gave me an estimate and the service was well within it. They showed up on time and did an excellent job, and were very professional. They explained to me what they were recommending and why, and I appreciated that.
