Description of Work: Kinder is working on a new house next to me. They just let all their debris blow in my yard and never clean it up. With all the blowing metal, I have to check my drive every day to make sure I don't get a flat tire. I would never do business with a company that is so inconsiderate and sloppy.

Our company did complete the work next to the member residence. One of my Managers was walking the house yesterday (11/1) and noticed the debri blowing around we cleaned up the mess to avoid any issues, along with some of the other trades discarded trash as well. Unfortunately the trash pins that are used do not have lids and with the weather we have been having it can be difficult to contain all the trash. I express job cleanliness to all my employees and expect them to clean up their trash durning the construction process. As far the blowing metal that was mentioned sounds like the mechanical contractor was also at fault. All i can say it that I am sorry for the inconvience, and we will try to avoid the issues in the future. We wire hundreds of houses a year with no complaint. I would hate for your statement to effect our rating with Angies List and future customers. Thank you, Matt Kinder General Manager Kinder Electric Co, Inc.

Description of Work: I had a light above my front door and the socket pushed in so i could not screw in a new bulb. He came on time,saw the part he needed, went to get it and was back much faster than expected. He completed the job soon after. The next day i noticed he also fixed a light in my front yard he must have noticed while walking to my front door. It had a broken bulb in the socket. He didnt tell me or charge me. This is the way to do business! Thank you

Description of Work: I used Kinder in the past and the service was o.k. I called for an appointment because of Kitchen electric being shut down, women answering the phone at Kinder told me she could not tell me when they could be out, but would check with her manager and call me back. Nearly three hours later there was no return call, so I called the women back only to find out she had not reached her manager, and the earliest she could commit to was for someone to come out in 5 days! I called Mr. Sparky and they were out within 2 hours. Service is obviously not competitive at Kinder.

Kinder Electric tries to get back to our customers in a timely manor but we do not offer emergency service. We try our hardest to get out to the customer on the same day but are rarely able to do so. I HAVE USED THIS CO. 3 TIMES AND BECAUSE OF THE HIGH CHARGES ON THE FIRST JOB, I STAYED HOME AND WATCHED THE CLOCK DURING THE NEXT JOB. ON THAT ONE, THEY GREATLY OVERESTIMATED THE HOURS OF WORK. I COMPLAINED AND THEY REDUCED MY BILL. I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THEM ONE MORE CHANCE AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. I WROTE TO COMPLAIN AND WAS SENT A RUDE NOTE SAYING I SHOULD TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. THEY OVERCHARGED ME QUITE A LOT.
