Mark Simmons came out the same day that I called. My 20 year old furnace was found to have 3 cracks in the heat exchanger and needed to be replaced. Mark explained the furnace efficiency options and the tax credits and rebates available. The new furnace was installed within 4 days. The installers did a professional job and Mark came back the same afternoon to check the work and make sure I was satisfied. The entire experience was very good.

It was excellent. They came out late Christmas Eve when my furnace had gone out. I have been using them for nine years, and they have always given good advice and taken care of any problems that I have.

Start to finish was top notch and very professional.

The service tech, Tim, was very informative on the features on my equipment. He also recommended that I purchase a CO2 detector. The price and service was as expected. The price noted gives me a spring and fall tune up.

As their proposal was better, I had them install a new Lennox System for me. They arrived as promised, and had the system installed and running in a few hours. Their installers were knowledgeable, clean and careful. I am extremely pleased with their service and the performance of the system. They even did a few extra things, i.e. moving a freezer, for me. I think Action Air is top notch!

On Thurs., 12 Nov., I had my furnace inspected by a firm I have used several times before. It was indicated that I needed to replace a cracked heat exchanger. I was referred to Action Air by an acquaintance for a second opinion. I called them on Friday and they sent a technician on 11/14/09. He took the furnace apart, removed the heat exchanger, tested it and found no crack(s). Since this was a second opinion there was no charge--hard to believe. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and thoroughness was impressive. Total time spent to do this work was 1 hour and 30 minutes.

They are very good and the technicians are very knowledgeable. They are very polite and well groomed. They work very quickly and very informative. They don?t pressure you on anything. We are very happy with them. They call and fix an appointment with us. They had replaced our system some time back. Their price is fairly reasonable. We would continue to use them in future.

The installer arrived at 1:42 pm on a scheduled 2:00 p.m time. Immediately went to work as soon as he slipped on his slippers to cover his feet and layed cloth to cover floors for traffic in and out of doors as it was a rainy day. He began to disassemble the old furnace and another installer arrived to help. They worked steadly and while one was doing one thing another was doing something else. Not soon after another installer arrived and they all worked great together. One installer had to endure insulation falling on him as he went up in the attic which we finally figured out that there was another way to get up to the attic, but he did not complain and did what was needed up there to add to the completion of the job. Then he went outside and got on top of the roof in the puring rain. The new thermostat was installed. The job was finished at 5:15 p.m. They ran the vacuum and cleaned up after themselves. An explaination of guarantees was gone over per my request which the installer had no problem doing. One of the installers made sure that I understood how to work the thermostat and any other questions that I had. I was told that I could call him if I needed help with anything after I began using the system. These 3 installers were professional and courteous. I felt comfortable with them in my home.

Mark was very professional. There was no high pressure, in fact I requested the new installation quotation before he had a chance to offer one. I intend to get two other quotations from HVAC companies rated "A" on Angies' List, but if they are all about the same, I'll let Action Air do the installatiuon.

The Action Air technical representative met with me to talk about what I wanted to have done. After discussion and receiving written estimate, I interviewed one other company. I was sure that Action Air would be the correct choice, but I wanted a 2nd estimate. Action Air was notified that I had accpeted their bid and we agreed to an install date. Everything went like clockwork. The house was spotless upon their departure. A follow-up visit happened a couple of days later to go over the routine maintinance and operation of the new furnace. I started the furnace for the 1st time today 10/11/2009. It works great! Great job!

They tried to talk us through our problem on the phone before charging us for the trip. They came out on a weekend and were able to resolve the issues pretty quickly. The work turned out good. They signed us up for a maintenance plan that saved us money on the trip call and also gave us free maintenance checks in the spring for the air conditioning and in the fall for the furnace.

Tom arrived on schedule (time chosen for our convenience). I asked if I could watch him work; he said he was glad to have someone to talk to. Cleaned coils in A/C unit with liquid cleaner and garden hose. Replaced two old, crumbling cartridge fuses in the outside electrical disconnect box. Cleaned coils inside furnace ducts. Advised me that the musty smell in the spring was caused by bacteria on the coils, fixable by spraying Lysol into the cold-air return. Checked current draw of compressor, also temperature at outlet. All within normal limits. Total time about an hour and a half. Tom told me what he was doing, answered my questions in a very forthcoming manner. Seems to enjoy what he's doing, at least when he has company.

We are members of the Silver Service Club and for @ $12.00 per month we receive spring and fall inspections, discounts on parts, and priority scheduling [within 48 hours]. We usually have the same service person fall/spring so he really knows our system. The people from Karen who schedules the appointments to the service people are professional, prompt and knowledgeable. This is a family owned and operated business. Just Great.

The guy who came out, Mark Simmons, was a really good guy. I had a million questions and he answered them all and did a nice job. He also told me about all the available tax credits out there if you buy a new heating and cooling system.

The gentlemen came to my house late on the evening of the 15th of February, the coldest night of the winter. He had to do some troubleshooting and once he found the problem he repaired the furnace. He was very professional, he explained to me what the problem was and what could be done. He happened to have a part in his truck, so the repair was made and the house returned back to the normal temperature. He left after midnight.

They were very professional. They used the protective boots when they came in. They were courteous. We signed up for an annual contract.

I have a 14 year old gas furnace as my main unit and an 8 year old heat pump for my attic bedroom. I received a flyer for a "Tune-Up" for $79, and I would receive a $15 gas card, so I called and was told there was no discount for two units, but I scheduled the appointment for 10:00 a.m. Tech arrived at 10:30 (no phone call) performed the service, appeared professional and was friendly. He showed me his concerns and explained my options. The service took 3 hours, I paid my invoice, but was only given 1 gas card. I did sign up for a spring check-up. I felt the contractor overcharged me by more than 20% on the second furnace by not giving me my second gas card. I will need a new gas furnace soon, but I will not assume anything about Action Air's pricing and will get a second bid.

They give excellent service and are very reliable.

We are monthly paying customers and we just had our semi-annual check-up about a month before when our A/C stopped working. I called Action Air and they sent someone out the next day. When the repairman discovered the problem was caused by something not being replaced properly during the check-up, the repair was taken care of without any additional charge. I was impressed with the honesty and professionalism. I have been a happy customer for years.

The salesman was informative although slightly high pressured. I feel that we got a good system but we talked with him about needing it to be quiet because it is outside our bedroom window. He assured us that it was one of the quietest air conditioner units. However, he failed to mention that in heat mode in the winter it is terribly noisy. We do use them for our twice yearly maintenance and I feel that it is a good price and the service man is always clean, friendly and informative.

They did a good job doing it. Their price was in line with other companies. They were very polite. They were very analytical. They were on time and professional.

Action Air was amazing. The owner of the company personally came out after a couple of trips. We had a bad condensation problem in our basement. The whole house dehumidifier helped but didn't totally alleviate the problem. John worked with us continually until we had a resolution. He inspected our whole house and discovered that warm air was entering the house through a wall that was not insulated properly. He even made a special trip out to meet with the builder of our home to show them what he found. The builder actually fixed the problem at no charge to us. We would have never found the problem had it not been for Action Air. And, we had one other air company come out and they were clueless. We are very grateful for all of Action Air's help and we would definitely use them in the future!

There was an odor in my house that I smelled when the air conditioner fan ran. Had the sewer and the air conditioner condensate line checked. An Action Air man came out and spent a lot of time checking things and determined that either the ducts needed to be cleaned or the odor was coming from drains that needed to be cleaned out. I was desperate to get this fixed as I had planned a huge wedding gathering at my house. Although Action Air did not do any work the worker spent a lot of time at my house the I was not charged for. He even went into the crawl space and charged me nothing. I will call them again.

They were prompt and explained everything. He wore booties on his shoes and was careful about not getting the carpet dirty. Everything works fine, but I thought the price was a little high and after we looked up the price for that particular model we found it is about $80.00. He let us know it would cost about 89 dollars for labor, but after that it was still pricey.

Although this company did not provide the lowest quote, the professionalism and service were very good. The salesman also charged our system (which had a bad coolant leak) twice while we waited a few days for the system to be replaced.
