Description of Work: I use Action Air bi-annually for a heating and cooling inspection.

Description of Work: Our home was built in 2005. Since that time we have been expressing our dissatisfaction with the heating/cooling of our home to the builder and heating contractor. The original contractor gave lip service and minor adjustments and continually told us that it was "just too hot outside for the house to be cool". I specifically requested that the owner of that company come and look everything over to see what, if anything could be done. NOTHING ever happened--this was Excel Heating and AC by the way. I switched companies for my semi-annual maintenance to Action Air last year and explained the issues with our current system. They sent Ryan out to look over our system and he was great - punctual and professional. On looking at the duct work in our home we were told it was the worst installation of a system he had ever seen. He explained in detail why our home was having problems with heating and cooling and that to remedy it we would have to re-do all the ducts in the crawl space. We got other opinions and were told the same thing. I called Action Air back to set the appointment at a time that worked for both of us. On 4/11 at the appointed time, Ryan came with 3 other gentlemen (Nick, Dave P and Dave H) and explained exactly what needed to be done. They did a complete re-installation of the ducting system in this fairly new home. The men were efficient, professional and the job was completed in one day. Being able to move the air flow the way it should have been done initially will result in a more efficient system and less wear and tear on our furnace and AC. If we are able to have our first comfortable summer since moving into this home, it will be well worth it!

Description of Work: I have used this company for around 20 years. I called last week to schedule a time for my furnaces to be serviced. I was given a time range of 10:00 am to Noon on December 12. I managed my schedule so that I would be home all day. Action Air called me on the 12th while I was on a telephone call. I picked up the message from Action Air and returned the call, they advised that because I did not answer the call they had sent the service technician to a different customer and I would need to reschedule the appointment. When I made the appointment (and when I made all my previous appointments over the years) I was not advised of this requirement that I had to stay off my phone line for the 2 hour period of the appointment so this was a surprise to me. I will not use Action Air again.

Description of Work: We used them for both furnace and air conditioner examinations together with an examination for our attic insulation. Their thoroughness and work in all areas was outstanding. Things were brought to our attention that had not been discussed before by other companies. We would certainly recommend them. Their pricing was very competitive.

Description of Work: We have a maintenance agreement with them for a fall and spring service and get priority for any emergency service. A few years ago they detected a leak in the burner. They ultimatly replaced the furnace with a high efficiency furnace and air system.

Description of Work: evaluated duct work in crawl space that was disconnected. Add insulation around condensation line and verified HVAC was in proper order. Also answered many questions and were prompt when returning my phone calls.

Description of Work: Had furnace checked, found cracks in heat exchanger. This was in early PM, I requested an estimate for replacement of Furnace and our 20 yr. old A/C as soon as possible. I was amazed they offered to proceed that day with completion in 4 hrs. They completed right on schedule. All workers involved were very professional, clean and answered all our questions. Had to return once for minor adjustments, they were very prompt in response time.
