Erin provided excellent service in helping me choose area rugs and a stair runner for one of my clients. She is extremely knowledgeable and they have a beautiful new showroom with lots of products to choose from. My clients were very pleased with the quality of the product and the installation process.

I worked with David Decker on a kitchen remodel for a client. He is very knowledgable in the design, construction and installation. The completed kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. The job went smoothly and the client was extremely happy.

Flooring is only one part of multiple projects that Affordable is completing for me. I selected engineered hardwoods for the first floor of my home. From the removal of existing tile and carpet, replacement of damaged sub floor, to the installation of the new floors, molding and painting, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to choose Affordable. You should feel quite comfortable working with this company. Great product, qualified installers, and my home looks absolutely beautiful.

We visisted an Affordable Kitchen booth at the Home Show this year, read about the company's great reviews on Angie's List, and contacted Affordable Kitchens via the Internet to request an appointment for an estimate. A representative called a few days later and after I explained the work we needed done and where our home was located, I was told that we would live out of their area (we live on the east-side of Indianapolis, in Marion County) and because they are located in Carmel, not only would there be a trip charge for an estimate, but also any job in this area of town could not be priced competitively, because of the great driving distance. Since the description on Angie's List states that the company services 'all areas', I found this comment somewhat 'insulting': is the east-side of town too low-class for a Carmel company? Very disspointing, since we had read so many good reviews about the company on Angie's List. Please update their service area to reflect their policy so customer's don't waste their time contacting the company.

They did a great job, and I was very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved. The bathroom turned out beautiful and works well.

I thought they did an excellent job with the estimate. Out of everybody I talked to, they had the nicest estimate, because it was very detailed. I knew what I was going to get.

Their estimate was for $6300. Their price was very high. They were the highest among the four estimates that I got. I had received a lot of recommendations for them. They did a kitchen for my sister and did a fabulous job with it. I did not question their work. It was just their price. I lived in an old house and I got an impression that they did not want to do it because there were several floors to take off and they were certainly not sure of what was underneath. They were very good with the punctuality and they were wonderful. They were very nice and did a good job with the estimate. I would take an estimate from them in the future as I know that they do good work.

Contractors arrived on time and were always courteous. The only delay that we encountered was caused by the supplier of the door hardware. Once the defective part was replaced, the contractors came back and completed the job. Thanks for a job well done!

I was very impressed with this guy. He seemed really knowledgeable and he explained things. He was professional, he came on time, and his estimate was broken down and included everything.

Joe Evans came out to our house for an estimate on a remodel and reconfiguration of our 2 bathrooms. He was very professional, listened to all of our desires and requests for the bathrooms. I told Joe we were getting more than one estimate and design, which he understood and even encouraged. I really liked the professionalism, but the design of another company was more to our liking.

Joe Evans was the sales person we first contacted. He and their in-house interior designer, Staci Tober, came to the house for an initial consultation. When they both returned with a design, we were extremely impressed with the creativity Staci was able to incorporate into the kitchen floorplan. We had been working with three providers for bids and plans, and the creativity and cost estimates provided by Affordable were far better than the other two. Ryan McElroy was our project manager. He coordinated the entire build, which included tile flooring, plumbing, electrical work, lighting, cabinet installation, granite countertops, and the setting of a very heavy farmhouse sink. Communication with Ryan was excellent and the pace of the job was within the timeframes of the contract. In the end, we were left with the impression that we got more than we paid for. Affordable went far out of their way to make sure we were completely satisfied before the contact was finalized.

We are very happy with the work done by David Decker and all the employees/contractors for Affordable Kitchen and Bath. It started when David came to our house to discuss our needs. He listened to all of our concerns, answered all questions, and came up with a very detailed estimate. We knew upfront what was/was not covered in the price. I went to the showroom to choose the materials, and David was very helpful. He kept our style in mind, but made sure we stayed within our budget. David was very mindful of the fact that we have six children, all of our bathrooms were being redone, and we were having a party at our house in the middle of it all. He came up with a time line to assure that we always had at least two working bathrooms, and he stuck with it. Every step of the work was done on time, if not early. Our house is over an hour away from their offices/showroom, but they were here ready to work first thing in the morning. Every person that worked on our house was very professional, even when one of their shoes was stolen by our dog. All areas were prepped to keep messes at a minimum, and everything was clean and safe when each job was done. The workers were knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly and answered all questions I posed to them. Being that our house is 150 years old, we always expect problems when we work on it. The team at Affordable Kitchen and Bath were not thrown by the oddities of our house, and they were very creative in coming up with workable solutions.

The timeline we were given was absolutely correct for each job. The estimates were precise within 1-2%, and the variation was always due to our change in a selection or in the scope of the project. I would absolutely use AK&B again!

I had spoken to a few contractors that said there was no way I could get my kitchen done on the budget that I was working with. Mike Miller from Affordable came out and gave me a lot of ideas about how we could get it done. I met him at the store room to pick out colors and was very impressed with the selection he came up with, initially I thought there wouldn't be many options on my tight budget. The project started and finished on time and on budget, and it was done within a week!

David and his team did an incredible job in overseeing this project. My clients were extremely happy with his work, designs and professionalism. He did an incredible job of communicating with the client. They completely gutted the kitchen and half bath and installed new flooring, cabinets, countertops, and fixtures.

We could not be more pleased with the work done by Affordable Kitchens and Bathrooms. We contacted them for an estimate on the work we wanted done. Joe Evans came out to give us the estimate. You will probably not find a better person to work with. He is very professional and really understands that commutation is the key in making this work go smoothly. He kept us informed each day of who would be coming to our house and what they would be doing. All of his workers are the "cream of the crop". Each had his own job to do and did it very well. They were all very respectful of our home. The project finished on budget and on time. We would recommend this company to anyone wanting to remodel a kitchen or bathroom. We truly don't think you will find a better company to work with.

I worked with Joe Evans from beginning to end, and he was always available and helpful. They built and matched vintage cabinets, and I am very impressed with how well they matched. Joe made very good recommendations about using granite instead of marble in the kitchen, and I love how the granite looks and performs.

My kitchen project with Affordable Kitchens was a very bad experience. It took twice as long as was estimated. There were problems and all kinds of excuses for the delays including blaming me. When I talked with the owner, he was argumentative and would not accept responsibility. He would not meet with me at the end of the project. His only concession to me was a small discount and a gift certificate, which I returned to him.

The shower is replaced. The finished product is fine. The process was a nightmare. I think the reason it was a nightmare was because a certain employee who is no longer employed there.

Outstanding in every respect. Their price was extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of the work they did. Everyone we dealth with at Affordable K&B was very professional and responsive at all times. The work they did is fabulous - they obviously take great pride in their craftsmanship. My wife and I absolutely love the result. They are incredibly customer-focused as well. They had a problem with the supplier for the new glass in our shower and even though they didn't cause the delay they kept us fully informed at all times and very generously compensated us for the inconvenience (they painted our master bath for free!!). I have recommended them to others and wouldn't hesitate to call Joe Evans again for any remodeling work I need.

David was great to work with. He was very prompt in providing the initial quote and was very diligent in follow-up. He referred us to Bedrock International for the granite selection which took us a couple of visits due to the huge selection they have. The installation went well and the countertops look great! David arrived promptly, first thing in the morning to start the work and completed the job before we had returned home at the end of the day. They also did a great job of cleaning up!

We took a couple bids on project to add sunroom, brick patios & pergola to house/yard. Mr. Decker went to great lengths to present lowest bid, including spending much time working with numerous sub-contractors until bid was within acceptable range. Mr. Decker was EXTREMELY professional and responsive. He not only presented lowest bid, he and most sub-contractors working at his direction, did an oustanding and timely job -- completing the additional room and all related patio and pergola work within short (6-week) time frame. Throughout process I would call Mr. Decker for status reports, and to perform additional work (roof repair, interior drywall repair, and additional tasks) and he performed the work quickly, professionally and, importantly, in a cost-effective manner. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Decker for his professionalism, responsiveness and quality of work. (He even personally repaired the few items of sub-standard work performed by one of the sub-contractors).

HE HAD TO COME IN AND KNOCK OUT A WHOLE WALL THAT WAS ROTTEN. HE WAS TOTALLY RESPONSIVE. I DIDN'T HAVE TO PUT A PENNY IN HIS HAND UNTIL EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETE. I HAVE REFERRED HIM TO SEVERAL FRIENDS.
