They tried to sell me a sevice I did not need.

They asked lots of questions about what happened in what order before the problem showed up. Then they checked all the spots, moved outside and found the sewer line, then hooked up the big plumbers snake and ran it in and chewed thru the frozen and clogged clog and cleared it then put cleaning crystals in the pipes in the house to clean any remaining sludge from the lines. Told me to call if there were any future problems but said they didn't expect any. They flushed all toilets and ran all water faucets to make sure they were clear. I am very very pleased with the speed of service and their professional attitude. And they were very nice as well. Side comment: I called this morning at 9:30, they arrived at 1:30 and were done and gone by 2:00....awesome service

I first received a quote from Buds Plumbing for $658 to fix my bathtub drain. I got a 2nd opinion from Hoffman Plumbing and decided to go with them. I was able to have a new garbage disposal installed ($250) and a bathtub drain fixed ($330) for a total invoice price of $550. Buds told me it was going to take 2 men half a day to complete the job. Hoffman Plumbing completed the job in 1 hour with 1 man completing the tasks. He showed up on time and was professional. I recommend Hoffman Plumbing.

Called the company at 8 am and they said they would have someone right out. I waited around the house all day and finally got a call at 8pm as I was putting the kids to bed. Who wants a plumber at their house after 8 pm?

Removed water heater to different floor and modified plumbing.

I had checked on several companies including on that had given me a quote and started the process. Unfortunately, they contracted their excavation and were at the mercy of that company so they couldn't get back us for three weeks. We didn't have three weeks as this was a rental and renters don't need to be living with backed up drains. Hoffmann plumbing, primarily because they do their own excavation, were able to get to this job the next day and complete it before I could have even gotten someone else there to give another quote.

Jeremy with Hoffman Plumbing arrived and got right to work! He listened well and answered all of our questions. Jeremy recommended that we change out our antique toilets but was not pushy about it. Which in the long run would save money on our water bill. Jeremy suggested a few different brands for when we were ready to change out the toilets. We can sleep tonight knowing our problem has been fixed! We definitely will use Hoffman plumbing again!!!!

It went well and they will be the ones we call again

The installation of new sewer line went great. However, they really made a mess of both front and back yards with "mini-excavator". Will be working on the yard well into winter, and then some. Before job started they did say I could get a quote on seeding where the trench was located but that's really not the problem. It's all the tire tracks that the excavator made. Oh well, will just add this to my "TO DO LIST".

The process went very smoothly. I purchased the toilets and faucets. Hoffman brought the water heater and all other equipment needed. The estimate was significantly less than the estimates from other highly rated Angie's List companies in our area. The plumbers were efficient and nearly completed all the work in a day. I would hire them again without question.

They came out on time and did great work.They replaced the faucet in the bathroom. They were a little pricey but the quality was great. I was very satisfied with their professionalism and they cleaned up after themselves. The only knock on them was that it took me a few weeks to receive the bill.

Hoffman employees were on time, professional and extremely competent. The price for all the work they did was very fair and I will be calling them from now on for all our plumbing needs.

We were having trouble with our toilet flushing. After trying everything we could do ourselves we called Altstadt. They cleaned the outdoor pipes and that took care of the problem.

The workers arrived on time and identified the problem right away. The work took almost 3 days, but was done effeciently and have no problems since. I will call them again if I need a plumber.

They worked within my scheduling constraints. Selected the perfect products for my use and left the job spotless. Showed as much concern about the function and aesthetics.

We've used them several times and the work is always professionally done. They are neat, polite and professional each step, from finding the problem, the estimate to the finished job! It's also nice that they bill you for the job with 30 days to pay!

Marty with Hoffman plumbing was fantastic! He had to use a 75ft snake to reach the blockage and unclog the pipe in my kitchen. He was on time...polite...efficient...cleaned up the water under the sink. Would definitely use Hoffman's again!

I called Hoffman Plumbing on a Thursday and said we needed a new air bladder for our well. The woman in the office requested the serial number of our old air bladder, so she and I talked on the phone two or three times until I finally found the number. Glen arrived the next morning, as agreed, with an air bladder that was a duplicate of our old one. He replaced the air bladder efficiently, in about one-half hour. We received a bill a couple of weeks later, and we thought the price was reasonable.

Everything flowed (pardon the pun) wonderfully. When I called them they couldn't get to me until the next day (which was fine), but a couple of hours later their office called and said they had a cancellation and they could be there in about an hour...which they were. The technician replaced part of the old cast iron pipe with a new section of PVC pipe. The location of the pipe was in very close quarters, but he managed to get the old pipe cut and the new one installed in about an hour. Great work, great technician, great office staff, and, best of all, a great price. I will without question use them again as they actually exceeded my expectations. Nice job, Hoffman Plumbing!

Initially, we had a leak we were unable to locate. We searched Angie's list and contact Bud's Plumbing and Hoffman's Plumbing to determine what was wrong and give us an estimate. Bud's Plumbing was running late, and we ended up having both the Hoffman's representative and Bud's representative on site at the same time. Hoffman's Plumber looked under our sink and quickly started looking at our dishwasher; which is where the leak was coming from. He told us what needed to be done and gave us an estimate. He stated to work after we agreed on the estimate. He unhooked our dishwasher; capped the water source, and took our dishwasher out side until our insurance company representative could come and assess the damage and pick-up our dishwasher. Bud's plumber looked under our sink and went out side to look under our house. Bud's learned of the dishwasher leak from Huffman's plumber and provided an estimate as well. Bud's estimate was higher, but not more than $35.00. But, $35 will put gas in my tank. I feel sure had he continued his assessment, he would have found the leak as well. However, this plumber did not look at the dishwasher after looking under the sink; he went out to look under the house. Whereas, the plumber from Hoffman's, immediately went from looking under the sink to the dishwasher. Due to the unknown "leaking dishwasher" we had 3/4 of our kitchen floor damaged by water. During the time the Water damage company was working to dismantle and move out cabinets, a water line to our sink was broken. Thus, we immediately called Huffman again. They were out promptly, capped the water supply to the kitchen sink and water supply to the ice maker and didn't charge anything. All he said was give us a call when all the work is done and well get you taken care of. Which we did. Excellent work for a reasonable price and professional workers. If we need work of this nature in the future, we will be contacting them.

I found them on Angie's List, and I would use Hoffman again if I needed to.

Everything with them was an "A". I've had them out twice in the last year and they were very good both times. I would use them again in the future.

They did really great work. They are very professional. They took time during the estimate to show me some things that needed to be repaired. They cleaned up the yard where they dug.

We've been using them for years and they are good. They did a fine job.

The plumber came with the needed replacement pump and related supplies. He did the work quickly and well, including making adjustments due to the age of the replaced parts. I have no basis for comparing the cost with what another plumber would have charged.
