we have used them for years at both of our homes and they have always been easy to schedule with and send out friendly and knowledgeable people to do the work.

The workers were very professional. When we set up a payment plan alstadts interest rate doubled our bill.

Was very pleased with service. Removed their shoes at entrance and pleasant to talk to. Referred me to an electrician.

We had 3 estimates. Altstadt was the lowest at about $3000. Bud's Plumbing was the highest at over $9000 for the same job. (It pays to comparison shop!) They started on time and were always available when needed on somewhat short notice that is always required when you are trying to coordinate work with multiple sub-contractors (electrical, sheetrock, tilers etc),. They worked around everyone's schedule with no effort. Absolutely no issues with them. Work was top notch. Highly recommended.

The evaluator/estimator (Jeff Hoffman) came out the day after I called, explained what needed to be done, give me the estimate before he left and we scheduled the work for the following Monday. On Sunday, the foreman (Paul Hoffman) came to the house and looked over the work area and discussed the work with me, later that day the eqpt was delivered. The workers arrived first thing Monday morning and went to work. The work was completed that day, Paul Hoffman explained all that they'd done and suggested an excavating company to work on the area and create a more natural drainage route for the rainwater, to keep it from settling right next to the foundation.

Great. We were so happy with the work and the professional staff. Very friendly and courteous. They cleaned up every evening before leaving each day and did everything that was requested. I would not hesitate having recommending them to our home. Every request that was unexpected was met with consideration and such great attitude. Thank you Alstadt Plumbing!

Jeff Hoffman arrive exactly when he said he would. Rita who answers the phone there made special arrangements to work with my schedule. While he was here to quote running the gas line , I asked about how to shut off the water to the house. Single mom here and thought I should know that. He tracked down the shut off and showed me how to access it if needed. I then asked about getting a quote on sump pump and a garbage disposal. He looked at the disposal said he thought it was just stuck. Got a tool from his truck and fixed it in less than five minutes at no charge! He could have easily sold me a new one. The people at Hoffman Plumbing are truly good people doing honest work. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Prompt. Easily found leak. Fixtures replaced then another day scheduled re-tilling for the shower tile to match. Great work

They're very good. They came out once and they tried to unclog it but they couldn't so we had to dig it up form the outside. They came back and finished the job. There was no problem with them coming back and finishing the job. There was no slack time or anything. They had nice employees.

They were really good. I was very happy with them on all accounts. They showed me the old sump pump and it had been bad for a long time. They brought in an electrician to fix a lever alarm switch. They were cheaper, they fixed it, they were here and they explained stuff.

Very efficient, respectful and professional. It was a joy to have these two young men in my house to do the work. They were extremely clean and wore foot covers in the house. I will definitely use them for all my plumbing needs and recommend them to family and friends.

I am very happy with the work. It was quite a bit more pricey than expected, but I couldn't have done the work myself, and they did a great job.

He did an excellent job and was a lot more reasonable than a couple other plumbers on Angie's List. I called and he came the next day and was on time. Another plumber was going to charge $300 more for same service. I would call this guy first.

Altstadt was selected by American Home Shield when we requested a plumber. The $75.00 we paid is based on our contract with AHS. Altstadt may have charged more; we do not know. The toilet is in the guest room and is not normally used. We do not currently have guests so this was not an emergency. Altstadt contacted us first thing in the morning after I submitted the request online at AHS's website. They scheduled us for the following morning between 8 and 12. Isaac called at 11:00 to say he would be here in 20 minutes. That was all good, but I told him I would need to leave by 12:50 for a 1:00 appointment. He asked if he should come later which was terrific. He came mid-afternoon after I had returned. He did a very good job, and will will use and recommend Altstadt in the future.

Wonderful service! I will always use them! They were able to get to my house within 24 hours and the person who came was both knowledgeable and incredibly helpful to work with.

Everything went very smooth and quickly. We had been getting the run around from other plumbers for two months! We call Altsdast plumbing and they were there just a few days later! I also really appreciated that the workers were honest about the fact that they were happy to redo our driveway, but that an actual concrete company would be able to make the patchwork look better than they could. We had some damage already to part of the area they had cut out so they were concerned about being able to get a nice clean line where the new and old concrete met. They could have easily just done it and charged us for it!

Brutal cold winter. Lost power and many pipes froze and burst. Hoffman sent repairmen asap. Repairs completed quickly and water restored. One repairman had to get under the house crawlspace twice. It is shallow and tight and I felt bad for him. I felt the cost was a little high but considering almost everyone in the area had plumbing problems, I was fortunate to get this done quickly. Would use them again.

It took about 1 hour . My toilet was overflowing could not use any water in house. They made a special effort to get to me.

It was fine. They are good plumbers and they know their craft. We needed an electrician too in the area because he had to hook up an outlet for the plug to go in for the tank list water heater. It was not real clean to begin with because it was in the basement. They certainly did not pick up their things very well. But that is not a major complain, just a little bit irritating. The company is family owned and they seem to have good service. They take pride in being a personalized family owned business. They are more personalized and they are reliable. They were here when they said they were going to be here. They were friendly and seem to know what their work.

It was fine and there were no problems. They were easy to work with over the phone and they were accommodating.

The work was excellent. They are prompt and their prices are good.

Service was provided in less time than estimated. Very professional. They were right on time. We will definitely use them again in the future
