We did not have any problem with them. They come when they said they are going to come and it is usually within the next day after you call. They are right in the same ball park as other quotes. I have used them five times already and will continue using them again in the future.

The experience was great. They were very professional, friendly and thorough. I have nothing bad to say about them.

I was pleasantly surprised to recieve a phone call back during the holiday weekend. They quickly put me on the schedule, and were courteous and punctual.

Great! I planned out what needed to be done, checked Angie's List and found a plumbing company in the town in which I teach. I called Tiger;s Plumbing and we were set up for the next day. Jon called, new directions were given to the house due to a road closure and he arrived in a timely manner. Clean, polite, and right to work, Jon did a great job. He handled all asked of him and will get back to me on a more difficult job of running water to the beach side of the house for a shower.

I called on Thursday to get someone to replace my broken hose pipe which was leaking into the wall of my garage. They said they could come the next day which was fantastic! On Friday the service-guy called and told me he was going to be a bit later than quoted - but that was fine since at least he did call. When he got to the house he confirmed the diagnosis the scheduler had given me the day before and then said that he didn't have the right piece to fix it - he believed we needed a 4' silcock. At that point he asked if I would go with him to the hardware store as he was unfamiliar with the area. Although I thought it was extremely odd for a service truck not to stock the parts that would be needed for a previously diagnosed job, and then to ask the homeowner to go with them to get it, I did end up going with him to two different stores to find the part he thought would be correct. One problem was that they do not make a 4' standard, so we ended up getting a 6'. Back at the house I was thrilled we didn't buy a 4' because the 6' was the right size!!! Again, I was surprised that he would make that kind of mistake...but it worked out in the end. He very quickly installed the new silcock and it looked even better than the previous work that had been done. The guy was so helpful that he even changed a lightbulb in the garage for me AND swept the entire area even though he barely made a mess (and put up with my puppy jumping on him every chance she could get). Then the most surprising part happened - the price. It was $225 to have one small pipe replaced (minus the $20 coupon from the website he allowed me to use). I am not a plumber, clearly, but never thought it would cost that amount for a small piece of work. Maybe if I had been told up front that was the cost it would have been different, but at the end after having watched how simple it was (or he made it look) I was shocked. I sort of questioned the amount, so the super-friendly service guy told me that it was the price in the book for that kind of work. Despite the part, road trip, and price I would say that I am still REALLY happy with the actual work done. The few surprises were just...oddly noticeable. Suggestions for the company would be to tell people FIRST how much it will be so it isn't such a shock and to stock ALL sizes possible for the job that was described over the phone. I have already asked them for a quote on my bathroom renovation because the work is excellent!!!

They were very prompt. This is the second time I've used them.

They are the best in the world. They do all of our plumbing work. We have three pieces of rental property and they are always there and always fair. They came to our house in 2007 when we flooded really badly and they really took care of it. Ross, Mike, Jeff and everybody at Tiger are great. We have spent several thousands of dollars with them. They were really sweet and knew that we were under duress when we had the flood. They gave us lots of discounts. They have done rental property work when something had blown up or someone flushed a brush down the toilet. They are always very, very good. They are very prompt and very, very fair. Their prices are always less than what we thought. Jon is the greatest guy in the world. He'll let the cats lay on his belly. We know all the plumbers by name and we have had a lot of work done for really cheap. They are always there and do a good job. They are not cheap, but they are fair. If something doesn't work, they come back and don't charge. They are great. They are like home people and we would not use any other companies.

Dave did a great job-friendly and on time. Gave me some good tips to keep pipes clean.

They have taken care of any of our plumbing needs, and they are great! I had a troll doll in a drain, they cleared this out by going through a wall. They do work on my rental properties too. We bought a place in April, turned the water on, and the plumbing pretty much failed. They redid everything.

Unfortunately, he was a little late because of the wrong address being written on the service order. But once he got in, he was polite, efficient, and explained everything to us. The plumber arrived on time. The work went well without any incidents. The plumber was knowledgeable and was able to deal with difficult access in the shut-off valve installation. After the plumber left, later that evening one of soldered joints in piping modification sprang a leak. I called Tiger Plumbing office that evening and left a message. the following morning the same plumber returned and took care of the problem.

Tiger Plumbing was supposed to come the day before, but were delayed with another job. The office called to tell us the situation, and later the plumber called to get a more detailed description of the job and told us that he couldn't do the gas repairs, which annoyed us. However, the next day, Russ, Rick and Mike showed up on time, and fixed both the water and gas leaks. They noticed that the connections for the laundry area were corroded and we decided to have them replace those pipes while they were ther. They worked efficiently, checked that they had fixed all the problems and cleaned up.

My overall experience with them was good. I used them for the second time. The price was reasonable for the first time but it very unreasonable the next time. They charged me $365 for installing the toilet with the waterline. The gentleman who installed the waterline told me he didn’t know what to charge for the waterline. So when he fixed the kitchen faucet it was like a 5 minutes work and they changed me $650. I almost had a stroke. I wasn’t really clear on what they were charging. That’s not a good way to do the business. What if hadn’t called them back would they have charged me again. I tried talking to them but I paid them the money. I would not use them again. ***UPDATE***Between the first time and second time I called them there was a 2 month break. So what if I never called them again how would they have charged me? Did they send a invoice within that time frame....no they didn't. Did they send a bill? No. So I called them to replace the cartidges and was hit with a bill for something they did 2 months earlier. I was in shock. He said it was not included in the first bill.

It went like clockwork. They arrived on time. They knew exactly what they were doing and when they completed the job, you would never know they were there except that the plumbing works perfectly. While they were working, I asked them to look at other plumbing concerns which I had. They not only looked at them, they repaired them. From the team who arrived to diagnose my plumbing problem to the woman who scheduled (and re-scheduled) my work, to the team of workman who implemented the repairs, these are all consummate professionals who also happen to be really nice people, too!

I was really happy with the work performed and will refer this company to others.

My parent's house had a tub that was clogged, very old plumbing, and a toilet that didn't work properly. I had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by their superior service and excellent price.

Overall they were prompt and did a good job.

My kitchen sink was stopped up, and I tried plunging it but could not get the water to go down. Someone told me that if I poured vinegar in the water it would slowly go down on it's own. So, I poured a bottle of vinegar in and let it sit for a day, but that only resulted in my kitchen smelling as though I had been processing rotten pickles, and the water level was still the same.I figured all it needed was a little extra "push", so I took a wire coat hanger and pushed it through the drain opening several times, and congratulated myself when the water started draining out of the sink. I stopped celebrating when I realized that my feet were wet. I opened the cabinet doors under the sink and realized I had poked a hole through the "U" shaped pipe connected to the drain. Further inspection revealed this must have happened before, because the pipe was old and rusty, and had some sort of stuff wrapped around it and covered with tape,as were all of the pipes connected to my double sink. I placed the call to Tiger, and described my problem. The next morning, the most pleasant young man named David arrived and gave me several options regarding what could be done. Since I had plans to renovate the kitchen sink and plumbing but was not prepared for extensive work to be done right now, He explained that he could cut out a section of the pipe and rod out the drain, and just replace the cut out section with a new piece, and told me how much it would cost. It was less than my neighbor had told me to expect to pay, so I agreed. Within a short time, the job was done, and water flowed through the drain faster than I had seen it go down before. He could have told me that I would have to have the entire thing replaced,since I know nothing about plumbing, but instead he came up with a solution that allowed me to get my immediate problem solved for the least amount of money.David didn't just stop at the repair job. He cleaned up the debris, and gave me recomendations on products to use for preventative maintenance, including one green 'environmentally safe' solution which I really appreciated, since I have two cats. He even told me how I could rehab and clean my cast iron sink as opposed to replacing it along with the pipes! There is quite a bit of plumbing work that I know I will have to have done, not just in the kitchen, but two bathrooms as well, and I have found the company that will be getting my business.

This company was subcontracted by the company that built a laundry room for us. They ran new pipes in the crawlspace for our new washer. We were very happy with the work - it was efficiently and professionally done, and we'd hire them again.

They came out within an hour or an hour and a half of us calling and they took care of the problem right away. We are an established customer. They did save us thousands of dollars in potential damage by their fast service. This is not the first time that they saved us. They saved a basement because of a failed sunk pump the other time. They arrived very quickly and got a pump running to get the water out.

They were prompt and I would recommend them to others. They gave me a discount. They had just great customer service that made it very enjoyable to work with.

Had them come out for an estimate and was going to have work done and when they came out they said I didn't need the work done. The did bill me for the estimate. I called and they apologized and gave me my money back. I called them back for another problem; they were quick, dependable, professional, and I would recommend them to anyone. No messes, reasonable price, and they came out so quick and stand by their work, that's is wonderful.

Tiger comes highly recommended on Angie's List, so I gave them a try. I was not disappointed. Their prices are very fair and they are prompt and friendly. This job involved opening a clogged drainpipe on two adjacent bathrooms. The plumber accessed the situation, replaced the P-traps and opened the access plug in our basement (no small feat). What I really liked though was that he gave me the option of cleaning out the drainpipe myself to save a little money, something I don't mind doing anyway. All-in-all a great experience with helpful advice the whole way. By the way, I had a quote for the same job from another area plumbing company that was $1000.00 higher! With lots of other unnecessary work thrown in. Needless to say, I was refreshed by the honesty of the man from Tiger. They made less money on this job, but kept me as a customer!

We liked these men so much we actually referred them to another company which has used them ever since. It was good that we found them on Angie's List, as they are very professional and their cost is reasonable. I will use them again in the future and don't mind referring them to anyone.
