Express Painting and Pressure Cleaning

The job was done well and on schedule. The garage was in bad shape when we moved in, so we hired Express Painting to clean it in preparation for painting the walls, ceilings and floors. As usual, Joey and his crew exceeded our expectations. Express Painting is an outstanding company to work with. The price includes power-washing and painting the garage floor to ceiling.

In a word - amazing. We hired Express to get our former home in shape to sell. They did a terrific job, and our home sold after only one showing. Joey and his crew then worked on our tight schedule to paint the entire interior of our condo. We discovered the walls and ceilings were covered with a layer of grime from a ventless fireplace used by the previous owners. The Express Painting crew cleaned, repaired, primed and painted every wall and ceiling in the 2 bedroom, 15,000 square foot space. The job including all of the baseboards, crown molding, and doors. They even transformed the dated cabinets in the kitchen and baths by painting them a snowy white that we accented with oil-rubbed bronze hardware. Joey is a true artist.

He did a very good job, it looked brand new. Price was a little higher than the competition but it was worth it for the quality.

I went with Express Painting because of their excellent ratings and reviews, I had a very detailed job and I wanted it to be done correctly. After meeting with Joey, the business owner, he was very knowledgable in paint and he advised me in the proper product to be applied on the various surfaces that would insure it would be long-lasting. We needed the exterior of our house as well as our 2 decks painted and stained. Joey and his crew scraped, calked and did such a fantastic job for me that I even hired them to paint the interior of my house. Joey is detail oriented and listens. I picked a color and he stained the porch. After living with my choice for a month, I decided that I hated it. I called Joey who came back out with color chips. He just finished staining the deck a second time and I love it. He is meticulous and thorough. We'll see him when is time to do the kitchen!

We were very pleased with the work of Joe and his crew. He responded promptly when I called for a estimate and showed up when promised. He began the work when he said he would and completed it in a timely manner. There were some short delays due to weather which were out of his control. He was able to power wash things ahead of time so when it was nice he was able to get the painting done. Joe did some siding repairs and caulked around our chimney which was very quite difficult to access. The door that he replaced turned out to be a odd size and he was able to rework the opening so the common size door I purchased was usable. This saved us a good deal of money. We plan on some interior work this winter and plan on calling Joe again.

This was the second time Joey did work for us. Last season he painted the exterior of our home. As before, we were quite pleased with his work. He how are washed the driveway and patio. He painted the ceilings in our kitchen and dining room as well as a new patio door. Finally, he painted the wainscoting in our family room.Joey responds quickly when you contact him. He schedules the job within the time that suits you and will communicate with you in a way that is most convenient for you. Since we both work during the day, we use a combination of email and text to communicate. We can do that without leaving our offices or interfering with our work. The work that Joey did was excellent. We were more than satisfied with the end result. He showed up when promised. He is easy to work with. He does an excellent job, and he cleans up before leaving each day. We will definitely hire him again.

I needed an estimate for this work for a bank refinance. He came out in the dead of winter and provided an estimate. As soon as the weather broke, he came out and evaluated the work. He did scraping and power washing on one day. He came back the next day, primed the areas to be painted and painted. He was thoroughly professional, pleasant and a perfectionist. we talked to Joe to setup an appt for an estimate on interior painting of our hallway, living room and great room. We were surprised at how reasonable the cost was due to the 24ft high ceiling in the great room. The job was completed quickly, in 3 days. The express painting crew painted the exterior of our home. They began the work quickly after I hired them. They worked swiftly and efficiently even though they had to work around inclement weather. The house looks terrific. They were meticulous. They masked and covered everything so that no paint landed where it should not be. They carefully worked around a vegetable garden and foundation plantings.The crew cleaned up each day and when the project was completed. Joseph Soto was a pleasure to work with. He responded to my inquiries promptly. Our schedules are erratic, and he made communicating simple by accepting email, texts or phone calls. Joe called promptly after my request on Angie. He showed up in company lettered vehicle and in uniform. My first look and thought was this guy is professional both on the phone when he called as well as his punctuality and now his appearance. We walked around the house and Joe was very personable as well as educational. He asked all the right questions to find out what my need was so he could determine if he could be of service and what would be the best way to get the job done right at a reasonable price and profit. I was immediately at ease, sensing this guy had my interest the customer at heart. The price was right where I thought it should be, fair, I do not like to price beat up those who serve me, I believe in getting to fair for both parties, good services are entitled to a profit if you want to keep them around and use them again. We agreed on the scope of work, the price and the first date for power washing. Joe showed up on time and as agreed with a uniformed professional employee. They spent the whole day washing and there were some tough tree sap covered areas and they got it sparkling, when I say sparkling I mean it looked like new. The deck and trim stain sealing presented some challenges because of the continuous rain we were getting. But this only proved to show Joes true colors at serving his customers. Joe kept me informed by phone on what was going on as he faced a long period of becoming back logged. He worked with me again in a way that showed me he was coming back to finish the job and at the time that would be best so the color stain sealer would last the longest. The job turned out great as I watched four professionals do the job. Lastly I might add that I literally had to do no cleanup, they cleaned up as well as moved some heavy object for me. I put Joe's number in my cell so I can recommend him as well as have his name on hand for future projects. You won't go wrong calling Express and working with Joe.

I would like to add that Joey and his team were very careful in ensuring that everything was cleaned up and left in better condition than when he arrived to my residence to work on our home. Joe and and his crew did a did a great job. First, the crew power washed all the areas, then filled in all the wholes with caulking, masked off any areas that weren't being painted. They cleaned up after themselves every night. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We even had a few add ons and they accommodated everything. They did an excellent job at great price. I would recommend Express Painting and will use them for any painting projects in the future.

I was having trouble finding a painter for the exterior of my house so I used Angie's List and found Joe's company. Based on the good responses from previous customers I decided to risk it and I was glad I did. Joe is professional, prompt, courteous. His crew are the same. Even during the process of painting there was never a mess and when they left the only way you would know they had been there was the excellent job they had done each day. Halfway through the job my neighbors commented on how nice my house looked and I quite agree. I have a 2 story home with wood cedar siding. I had 5 paint contractors provide estimate/proposal. All proposals were close in cost. Joey's proposal included more detail for preparing the wood siding for the paint and application of the paint. Including scraping, chalking and wood filler where some spots were very bad. Joey started the job as specified on contract and stay with job until completion (4 days). Preparation completed as specified. Paint applied without any needed requests for redo - (missed spots, etc) - paint job looks great. Honest, polite, professional.

We were satisfied with all the work performed. We were especially concerned with the painting of our new Azek material posts, but they turned out great. Joey chose the correct type of paint for the Azek material and for the other surfaces too. He was also careful while working near/around our limestone.
