Express Painting and Pressure Cleaning

I hired this company because I seen their excellent reviews and reports. I had a terrible past experience with a painter and didn't want to have to go through the same experience especially when the work being done was on my 92 year old mothers house. I am pleased to write this review and report our experience with them because it was also excellent. They were extremely courteous as they moved my moms furniture and assisted her. They painted her two level deck as well as the exterior of her house. They were very professional, neat, and courteous as they willingly helped my mom with everything she asked of them. They were also very patient with her. I would most definitely recommend as well as use them again in the future. They truly brought back the life of my childhood home.

Great! They found unexpected problems with rotted wood...made recommendations & after discussion...did exactly what I asked. The house not only looks great but I am satisfied that any weak points have been found, analyzed carefully & corrected. The job turned out to be more difficult than either of us first assumed. Joe Soto and crew stepped up & took all challenges in stride. We are very fortunate to have found them on Angie's list.

I am relatively new to the Crown Point area so I used Angie's List to find a reputable company to pressure wash and stain my upper deck. Within 4 hours of leaving a voicemail that I wanted an estimate, Joey returned my call to set up an appointment (on a Saturday no less). Joey came out the next day and provided me with an estimate and helped me pick out the proper stain for my deck. Joey thought it would be approximately a month before he could fit my deck work into his schedule. However two weeks later he called and worked me in earlier than previously discussed. Joey came out on a Sunday to pressure wash the upper deck and the patio that was under the deck. Within a few days he came back out and stained the upper deck. He took care to ensure the lower deck and landscaping was covered with plastic to protect them from stain dripping down from the upper deck. He and his employee were very careful when going in/out of my home. They were professional, polite and helped me move my table and grill back out to the deck after it dried. I will definitely be calling Joey and his company for an estimate for rooms that I wanted painted inside sometime this winter. The only item I wished I had asked about was the ability to use my American Express Card as a payment option. When I asked on the date of work was performed, Joey explained he had to have prior notice in order to accept AMEX cards. So ask ahead if you want that option. Other than that, this company is TOP NOTCH, I would definitely recommend anyone needing painting/staining to use this company. Thanks Joey! :)

My husband and I were looking to have the exterior of our house as well as deck painted, and after several estimates, we decided to go with Express Painting due to being highly rated. I met with Joe, the owner, and he was very professional and asked questions that the other painters did not ask me but should have. He had a deep understanding about paint and wanted to assure me and my husband both that the job he was about to do would last the test of time. His price was respectable and reasonable due to the magnitude of the job. Joey and his crew came out everyday and worked long hours, and did an amazing job on the house. I am pleased with him, his crew, and the quality of their work. I do highly recommend them.

We did not choose this painting company - however our choice was not a negative reflection of this company. We narrowed our choice to two companies and this was one of them. The owner, Joe Soto, was very professional. He arrived on time, seemed very knowledgeable, and provided a quote quickly. We would consider using Express Painting in the future.

The job took a little longer than expected due to weather but Joey did what he said he would do and I was very happy with the outcome. I would recommend his service to anyone.

Professional, courteous, and experienced company that produces high quality work. Pleasure to deal with them from beginning to end. They painted the full exterior of my siding and trim. I had some newly maintained dormers that needed caulking which was not in the original bid, however they still performed the work.

Joe and his crew were painting the Exterior of my house and I had him paint my two story foyer and upstairs hallway. The work was excellent. There were 3 damaged areas on the walls due to "puppy damage" and you can't tell there was any damage now whatsoever. i would hire Joe and his crew again in a hearbeat if I needed any more work done.

I selected Express painting due to high number of satisfied customers from Angie's list. His work was primarily in NW Indiana but Monee is close to the Indiana border and he agreed to take the job. Joe came out within 48 hours of 1st contact and gave me a very reasonable price for all 3 areas I needed painted. He fit me into his work schedule sonner than I expected which was great! The weather was very hot but Joe and his crew worked diligently and did a beautiful job. The last day he did the inside painting in the foyer and upstairs hallway. My house looks amazing! I am very pleased with the work and would hire Joe and his crew again.

Joey and crew arrived as scheduled, worked quickly, neatly, quietly, and professionally. They finished the job ahead of schedule in spite of poor weather conditions. I intend to have him do the interior of my home in the future.

joe came out on a sunday when our store is closed as to not interfere with business spent all morning power washing outside rails/concrete bumpers removing all loose debri. did a great job! he returned at a later date to paint sign poles/bumpers and rails provided all paint himself, again he was personally present working alongside his guys overall supervising and just making sure all work was completed correctly. the day he was here it was windy as debri kept sticking to the paint joe made sure that all debri got scrubbed off and repainted. I will be using his company again and again as it is rare to find someone that is this hardworking. thanks again joe!

We have a house that is almost 100 years old. The colors just pop and the house looks so much more attractive... it's like the old gal got a new dress. Joey is very responsive to his customers -- he works hard to keep people happy with the work and he communicates regularly in terms of when he'll be around and what's going on with the job's progress. With the cold, wet spring, he did a fantastic job given our goal of being done as soon as possible.

Weater conditions had to be watched so staining could be done in optimum conditions. Joe's follow up was very good. Came and power washed the deck one day and a few days later when the temperature was warm enough, he completed the job.

Joe and his crew came out and painted our kitchen, powder room, and a bed room with two coats of paint. The job came out looking beautiful and we were very happy with it and did not have any problems. The job took two days and we gave Joe our garage door opener to get in the house since we were not home and there were no problems. I would recommend and absolutely hire him again.

Joe was very professional and he gave me a quote that was within my budget. I had other quotes on the same job and they wanted to sell me a lot of extras that would have been hundreds more. He gave me a reasonable quote and began work within a couple of days. He took extra care to make sure the job was done right.The finished job looks great and I look forward to having him back to do more painting. My wife is tickled with the job and I'm tickled with the price. I think that says it all.

The cedar siding on the house my daughter and son in law just purchased was in dire need of staining and the window and doors were in need of caulking. Joe came out the next day and gave them a quote and was able to start the job in about a week. He came out early every morning and and cleaned up before leaving. He did a wonderful job and their cedar ciding looks 100% better an all the window and doors were caulked. I would hire Joe for any furture work as he does a great job.

Joe showed up earlier than expected when he had a cancellation of another job. This was a great thing with the upcoming change in weather. His crew completely power washed the exterior of the house dealing with many tall trees and bushes. All prep work was completed, shutters were removed and repainted off site and he painting process was started. Two coats were applied. This older house required a bit more work than originally expected. Joe completed all this extra work without complaint and without raising the cost. The elevated deck was in a bad condition with green algae and general weathering. It was decided to power wash completely and apply a translucent stain and two coats of sealer. The deck was brought back to a very nice appearance and enhanced the overall appearance of the house. Though the job went a few days longer than expected, the crew showed up every day and worked deligently to complete the project. We were pleased with the end result and I wouldn't hesitate to use Joe's services again in the future.

Joe and his crew power washed the entire exterior of our bi-level house and garage. Then scraped, prepped & caulked as needed prior to painting the exterior. He promptly arrived early each morning and worked long days to complete the job on time. Each day he left the work site clean and neat. I would definitely recommend his company to anyone who needs painting done inside or out. P.S. The house now looks better than it has in 30 years. Great job!

I called Express and left a message.Joe the owner returned my call and then stopped by to give an estimate.I thought it was a little high but after talking with a relative who is in the home building business I learned the price was reasonable for painting a house this size.A few weeks later I agreed to have Express do the work.The exterior was thoroughly powerwashed .Painting began with Joe onsite.He likes to be present for quality assurance. This is rare for many business owners in Angies list. He made sure the quality was outstanding.I was happy with the paint job and crew.They are polite,friendly and professional.Refusing to be deterred by power outages and yellowjackets the job was completed in a timely fashion.I highly recommend Mr.Soto and crew..

Joe and his crew were consummate professionals from proposal to start to finish. They were there to start the job on the exact date they said they would be and finished in a timely manner despite the few curveballs I threw them during the course of the job. I would HIGHLY recommend them and they will do all our painting from this point on!

After contacting Joe about the job he was out to our home the same day. I contacted two other painters who were listed on Angie's List prior to calling Joe it took a couple of days before they called back and a few more days before I got estimates.Joe and his crew were great. They did an excellent job and were very conscientious. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. His price was VERY reasonable compared to the other two estimates we received.

It was time to get some new paint on our upstairs walls and called Joe. He had done our deck earlier this summer and we were pleased. I knew he used Behr paint products from the Home Depot. So when Joe came to the house to make his estimate we had our color ranges in mined and Joe helped us choose the final colors. When he called with the estimate, we agreed and set a schedule later in the week for Joe to begin. He showed up when he said he would and kept us informed as he progressed. Joe was very conscientious about cleaning up at the end of the day and when the project was complete. will we call when it's time to paint the downstairs - yes we would. You should call him too, you won't be disappointed.

Joe responded quickly for an estimate. His price was good & he came when he said & kept us up to date. We are pleased with the work and clean up.
