They were wonderful! They were reliable and on time. There was virtually nothing broken or damaged.

Went very well, they showed up on time and moved everything in just a few hours. Very professional and courteous.

Overall my experience with ABW Moving company was very disappointing. I used this company twice before and was quite happy with the complete process. This time was not as it had been before. This time I hired a packer at the last minute to help with lose ends and was quoted a price that fit into my budget. Unfortunately, I was charged more than I had been expected to pay. I knew I'd be paying for boxes, but I had no idea I'd be paying for packing paper and box tape (which I didn't get to keep). It would of been nice, if the person who quoted me the price of $30 over the phone, had told me that it was per hour. He did tell me she could only stay for an 90 minutes but failed to mention it would cost $45.00 total. I asked the packer when she arrived how I would be billed for her services to her reply; "I don't know how he's going to do that". When I unpacked the boxes she packed, I found her work to be inefficient. She used several sheets of paper to wrap plastic items that didn't need to be wrapped, and to take up space in boxes. I feel as though her excessive use of packing paper was used to nickel and dime me for more money. However; the movers did work efficiently. I can't say anything negative about their attitude and overall performance, except for the fact that they came without tools. They used some of mine (which I still can't find even though Im completely unpacked) and borrowed some form a neighbor. Even though they all had a great attitude, they did a rush job and failed to finish putting together a piece of furniture or two. This was very disappointing as one of the pieces was my two year olds bed. I learned that it was not put together completely when I found the hardware laying around the house. Another unexpected surprise was that no one knew how to, or would even attempt to, hook up my washer and dryer. I was told that they didn't perform that service. But, they did they did so the past two times I hired this company. Needless to say I had the challenge of hooking them up myself on top of everything else I had to do. The final and biggest disappointment came when I received my bill. I was charged for an extra hour for traveling to my home before the move and after, too. Im no idiot, so I challenged that payment. The driver called his boss and told him that I would not use their services in the future because no one told me about this unexpected charge. They weren't driving to or from Indianapolis, for goodness sakes! And, I never charged paid them a traveling fee before. I would not recommend this company again. If you chose to do so make sure you get all'f the charges in writing and watch packers closely.

The Better Way guys took great care to treat the harpsichord with kid gloves, both picking up and delivering it to the performance room at the Museum. The instrument arrived without a nick or scratch, and was still perfectly in tune.

Our experience was a very positive one. The manager came out for a quote, which was below our desired price point. We shared a truck, which cut a little of the cost and didn't add a delay in our case. The whole move took a total of one day of packing and most of a day to move (only a 3 hour drive). Nothing went into storage in the process. We hired their packers, who, arrived early and were thorough in their work. Although they even packed our dirty coffee press from that morning with the grounds in it, which I found a little strange. But then we had left it on the counter with other things to be packed. The two ladies systematically worked through the house, and everything was well packed. When all was said and done, we had one cracked wine glass, but that seems to be the only damage (a cheap glass one, not a precious valuable either; those didn't have a scratch). The moving team also arrived early and started loading immediately. They had everything loaded before lunch and were on the road. Unloading was a little slower, as only 2 of the 4 original guys rode with the truck, and the new driveway was too narrow to bring the truck very close to the house. Despite that, they had everything unloaded by dinner time and were off. it all went much faster than I expected, and it was a smooth experience for me. Nobody smoked or swore in the house, which was a plus for me, too. A Better Way really helped reduce the stress of this move for us. Plus, the total cost in the end came in under the estimate!

It took about 2 hours to load my boxes. They were extremely professional and did a great job packing my furniture and boxes into the truck. I would highly recommend them to others in the area.

Staff was helpful over the phone and they were punctual the day of the move. They were careful with my belongings, efficient with their use of time, and extremely polite--all staff were a pleasure to work with. I will be happy to use their services in the future, including for larger moves. I will also recommend them to friends who are moving.

A Better Way did a very nice job of moving our household items. They handled our many antiques carefully and seemed to pack their truck carefully as well. The crew leader and loading crew were ontime, polite, and professional. Overall a very good experience. We'll make a follow up report once we have our furniture taken out of storage and moved to our new residence.

We gave them a tip because we were so happy with the service. They started off with a couple of guys and called a third guy later. They got us moved in four and a half hours. Beyond the normal moving wear and tear, everything made it. They were friendly and I was happy with the price. It was a simple move and I was happy with how it went.

Showed up at our house right on time. Were very careful and accomidating. First move I have made that went smooth with no problems. Highly recommend these folks.

Even for my small in-town move I got an on-site estimate from this company although some others just quoted me a price range over the phone. They seemed to care about getting my business! The move itself went smoothly for the most part: the crew was friendly and they got the job done quickly, so much so that my cost ended up a bit under the estimate. All of my most fragile items were treated with care and made it through without a scratch, but the "B" quality grade reflects a couple of small injuries to my furniture. One sectional sofa piece lost a leg - but the leg had been repaired before and was not strong, so I can't place too much blame on the movers in this instance. The other damage was a long white mark (paint?) on a wood table, which is probably repairable. Any damage is disappointing, but in fact this is the least damage I have ever had from a moving company, so in relative terms, I guess I'm pretty satisfied. Overall though this is the best moving company I have found in Bloomington over the course of three moves in ten years, and I would hire this company again.

Very pleased with the service. Movers were friendly and the cost was lower than I expected.

We saw their name on Angie's list, contacted them and they contacted us with call. They come to the home to estimate the cost, gave us an estimate and the final price was the estimated cost. We had three men who worked very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. The men were very personable and worked very hard. Yes, we would certainly use this service again. Even thinking about using them to move our grandaughter out of IU. This was a very pleasant move (as pleasant as a move could be).

Great! We had only 3 day notice that we had to move to Bedford. They were able to move us in a short notice. They packed everything well and all the furniture pieces had no scratches or dings!! They are the Best.
