Steve was very professional, and kept in contact with me throughout the project. Project was completed, and everything now works as it was supposed to.

In my original review, I gave Mike Beltami all A's.He and his colleague did a good job fixing our toilet and replacing our water heater. However, I learned too late that the water heater they installed was a 50 gallon heater instead of the 40 gallon that we previously had. I did not want a larger one and regret the higher cost for the unit and the higher ongoing costs in the future. There are only two of us and we use cold water for our laundry and frequently shower at the gym. So a 50 gallon heater is overkill. Most importantly, we began getting a terrible smell and taste on our hot water about 3 weeks later. I called Mike about this and left a message, but did not get a return call. I consulted other professionals who told me that the "magnesium rod" in the hot water heater should have been removed or replaced with an aluminum/zinc alloy rod because we are on well water. The mag rod is attracting bacteria and causing the rotten egg smell. Since we didn't have that problem with the old water heater, I have to lower Mike's rating. We have subsequently installed an iront blaster and a UV filtration system for quite a bit of money ($2,800) so our water is now very safe and the smell is gone, but I feel the problem could have been solved during the hot water heater installation.

He took the time to obtain the part, which saved me money on the part. The service went very well. He punctual, professional, and clean in the work he did. I would recommend his services.

The job went well. They took the time to protect my floor, made a minimal mess, didn't ding the other walls and cleaned up when they were done. I repaired the wall after they were done because I wanted to do it.

Steve was very helpful, explaining what the initial problem was, and then providing us with information about what we needed. He was very responsive to our initial call, coming out to check on the pump, and then for the repair he came exactly when he said he was going to. Steve has done three plumbing jobs for us now and we will definitely call him again in the future.

I could not be more pleased with Steve's service. He was very helpful on the phone when I first called to explain what was wrong with our water heater. He re-arranged his schedule to accommodate us and arrived exactly when he said he was going to. I had an unknown drain problem in my utility room, so Steve and his assistant had to remove my old water heater while it was still full, which I am sure was not an easy job, but they were both very professional about it. The job went quickly, and I had no idea they were done until Steve told me. They also took the old water heater with them, which was a nice surprise. Steve will definitely be first on my list to call for any future plumbing problems.

I called Mike on Saturday Feb. 1 because my water heater was leaking a steady flow of water out the side by the pressure release pipe. This was causing enough water to pool in my basement. Initially Mike was hoping to come out on Monday (which I understood because it was a small leak), but once I mentioned to him that I had water pooling on the floor in my basement, he immediately decided it was necessary to come out to my house that day. Once he arrived, he was very professional and wore protective slippers, so as to not ruin my carpeting with the wet outdoor weather. He then tried replacing the pressure release on my water heater, and when it was still leaking, he decided the entire water heater needed to be replaced. Before leaving, he helped me set-up a funnel so that all the water that was leaking was directed toward the drain, so I no longer had a water problem in my basement. Mike then took care of everything from there and just replaced my water heater today (2/3). It was very easy and he communicated with me very well. Each time I called him, he called me back within an hour, which I really appreciated. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.

I'm pleased with Mike's work. It was a fairly straight-forward job, but he was on-time, professional, efficient and the price was consistent with the range described over the phone.

I called Mike on Dec. 9th to set up an appt. to fix all the leaks, etc. He was able to come on the 11th and at that time addressed all the issues except the bathroom faucet. (the disposal was saved after a small nail was removed...my bad!! Do not hang plaques over your sink!!) There was need of a replacement of the bathroom faucet rather than a rebuild. I purchased a faucet, emailed Mike and we set up a time on the 16th for the install. All appeared fixed until late evening when I noticed water seeping down the wall. The original pipe from 1961 was in such bad shape, it was not holding the new pipe that had been installed....Emailed Mike, and he came back today (17th) and had to cut out a small portion of drywall to get to the area that was causing the problem. We appreciate Mike's service so much and the care he took to open the smallest area in the drywall to get to the problem.. We consider Mike to be a blessing to us "oldies" who could not have repaired these problems...

The provider arrived relatively on time and promptly went to work and replaced the lawn faucet with no trouble. Provider was very professional with clean appearance. Provider also clearly explained the problem and how it would need to be fixed and executed said repairs quickly and efficiently.

On time, kept us up to date of all activities, provided advice to make sure all was done to meet our satisfaction, cleaned up after each day's work (took cardboard and trash away and swept up debris, etc.) Steve was straight forward in his work and provided a written review of all activities completed for the bathroom work and we were provided an invoice of materials and labor. I have given our neighbors Steve's name. People can use Steve's work with confidence.

He was very professional and was very personable. He was honest. Flat rate for garbage disposal. He did not charge me for the service call as I was a first time Angie's List customer.

Steve told me the price over the phone and that was what I paid. Called when he was running a little late (taking care of a flooded basement due to the Halloween rains). He and his helper we quick, courteous, and neat. Will call again when I need a plumber.

MIKE AND STEVE SHOWED UP EXACTLY ON TIME. THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. THEY SEEMED LIKE GUYS THAT YOU WOULD WANT TO HAVE AS A NEIGHBOR. THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF EXPLAINING WHAT THEY PLANNED TO DO, AND WERE EFFICIENT IN COMPLETING THE WORK . THE PRICE WAS FAIR, AND THEY ENCOURAGED ME TO LET THEM KNOW IF ANY PROBLEMS DEVELOPED. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.

Michael responded quickly, was very professional and did good work! He explained my options and even took the time to show me what he was what he was doing and why. This really helped me understand things and prepare for additional plumbing changes we want to make in the future. He also showed me general maintenance tips. I think I found a new plumber for years to come!

First plumber who was willing to come in less than three days, came next morning. Showed up, tried to free clogged toilet, but determined the problem was with the sewer, or out in the yard and recommended someone for us to call, who was great.

Steve is the BEST plumber around and this is the third time I have used his plumbing services. He responds quickly to all phone calls or emails and his quotes are always reasonable. He is prepared and does a thorough job and with a smile on his face. He is knowledgeable and in my opinion the plumber everyone should use!!

A couple years ago I used Steve to replace two sump pumps, and found that he is dependable, knowledgeable, courteous and professional; and it's because of those qualities that I decided to call on him again to inspect all the plumbing throughout my rental property, a 6,000 sq ft home, which isn't a small task. We knew in advance that we needed repairs to some leaking toilets and to address a clogged drain. Steve was prompt on the day of our appointment, and quick to call with any concerns which is exactly what I had hoped for since I live in North Carolina. Steve completed his assessment and called to provide the estimate over the phone. We ended up installing complete rebuild kits in two of the toilets at $150 each, replacing the flapper in four other toilets at $60 a piece. Steve snaked out a drain for me and completed another minor repair. When I received the invoice Steve did provide the Angie's List discount which equaled his charge for a $59 service call. Even though the price seemed a little high to replace a toilet flapper, the good news is that I can feel at ease knowing that Steve addressed all possible plumbing issues after finishing his inspection throughout the home. In the future I know I can also depend on Steve to stand behind his warranty and even help out in an emergency should I have any problems.

Arrived when said he would. Had to replace some of the old iron piping with PVC. Explained the system in detail. Installed in a timely flashing and did a excellent clean- up. Have used him in the past and will in the future. Great plumber. I used Steve Morin.

Our back up sump pump system was giving a signal that the pump was defective. Steve came and pulled the pump out and we sent the pump and control box back to the manufacturer to determine where the problem was. The pump was defective, so we purchased a new one and Steve installed it. A few weeks later, the system was giving a signal again. This time it said the battery was defective. Steve came and replaced the battery with a Pro Series maintenance free model. A week or so later, we had another control box signal. This time it said that the battery was not compatible with the control box. Upon speaking with the manufacturer, it turns out older control boxes in this series (Pro Series) do not tolerate the maintenance-free battery. So now we had a brand new pump, a brand new $385 battery and a control box that was not working properly because of the compatibility issue. New control boxes have a toggle switch to allow use with either type of battery. When I called Steve to discuss this with him, at first he didn't believe what I was telling him. It took for him to call the manufacturer to convince him that the battery he installed was, indeed, incompatible with the existing control box. The only thing left for us to do was to purchase a new control box and have it installed. We felt that, since Steve had installed an incompatible battery into the system, the least he could do was put the new control box in at no charge to us. In the end, he did the right thing, but not without making us feel as though we were asking for the moon and stars. When he arrived to install the new control box, he sent his helper in and didn't even enter our home. So long as everything was going his way, with service calls and installations, etc. everything was fine. He was efficient and courteous. But at the point where we had an issue, we felt he acted unprofessional toward us. With the money we had paid already and the frequency of the visits, you would think he would know he had a good and loyal customer and would have helped us out by making HIS MISTAKE right. We will not be calling him again, not because of the lack of quality of work, but because of how he handled our complaint.

Mike showed up on time, was professional and helpful, including suggestions on a softener salt product that could minimize problems in the future. He reset the settings on the softener and offered maintenance recommendations on both pieces of equipment. Mike wasted no time completing the job and left the work area clean. I have used other plumbers in the past but will only be calling Mike from now on and recommend his service to all! Thanks Mike

He is very good. He came right away. He got the job done quickly. He was very pleasant to work with.

I was having trouble with leakage from the shower stall into the basement. I thought thst I had defective piping behind the the shower and possibly a big job to contend with. After thorough exam it was determined that leakage was near the base of the shower that had not been properly sealed in the first place. What a relief! They were very courteous, efficient, and reasonable. I would use them again and certainly recommend them.
