Todd was prompt and professional in providing the estimate. He explained the process of preparation. He was kind enough to offer financing options. Ultimately, our budget would not allow us to hire professional painters. If money had been no object, I would have hired Edge Painting.

I highly recommend The Painting Edge. I needed drywall repair around my fireplace and some cracks in the ceiling. I also needed my great room vaulted ceiling painted. Ray did a wonderful job with the drywall repair. Richard and Art took care of the painting. All completed work exceeded my expections. These gentlemen were always very professional. If you want perfection in painting with a highly professionally run company then hire The Painting Edge. The prep work was extraordinary and all paint was applied by brush and roller. My home was a particular challenge with true divided windows and French Doors and the final result could not have been better!!!

The gentleman doing the drywall worked with a true art. The next gentleman painting the ceiling worked in a perfect, professional way. When the gentlemen left you could not even see where the damage had been! The Painting Edge truly choose the correct people!

I am a repeat customer of The Painting Edge. Over the past two years, I have hired The Painting Edge for four jobs which included painting both the interior and exterior of my home and staining the front door. Each time the employees working on my home were professional, experienced, punctual and friendly. They provided high-quality workmanship and treated my home with respect—covering floors and furniture, sealing off rooms to minimize dust, vacuuming and cleaning as they worked. From getting an estimate until final invoicing, Todd Cartmel and his colleagues were consummate professionals. The finished product was superb. Besides the stellar workmanship, what most impressed us was Todd's commitment to customer service and communication. Todd kept us updated by text as to when and by whom the work was being done. For example, when he told us to expect work to begin at 7AM, that was when it began. That level of communication eliminated the usual stress associated with home improvement projects.

It could not have been a better experience. Ray was the drywall expert. He did a beautiful job on the repairs to the drywall seams and repairing a large piece of missing drywall in the ceiling. Mike and Henry were the painters. The room is beautiful. All three of these guys were on time, easy to work with. They took great care with my furniture, carpet and other belongings. They all cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs painting and drywall experts.

Cabinets done March 2018 - The Painting Edge handled all prep work, including covering other surfaces, so only the cabinets got lacquer. Reinstalled all doors and hardware, and cleaned up the room. Todd Cartmel worked with me to get the color just right. Fence done July 2019 - they power-washed the fence, then stained it. Very professional work both times.

Arrived on time and date. Very professional, and timely with estimate. Found a contractor to perform same repair (excluding the $175.00 insulation quote), for $250.00. The $535.00 difference was a no brainer. It was a very small repair to a 45 year old garage wall. I thought the estimate was very high.

Excellent. Extremely satisfied with the repair., it turned out perfect. The technician was on time, organized, very particular with his work quality, was happy to answer my many questions, and cleaned the place up spotless. Thank you RAY...ask for Ray, he won't disappoint !

They did a fantastic job. It was a three partial day job. There was ceiling wall damage that had to be patched from wallpaper that had been removed. Under the paper there was latex paint that had been painted over oil base paint and peeled off with the wallpaper. So, day one the walls were treated with a special coating over the paint, then the drywall patching, then sanding and then the final paint. Todd communicated every step as to when they would arrive what will be done and what time they would be back each day. His painter Brian and his drywall guy Ray were very professional and a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up after the work was done each day. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. I will definitely be using them in the future.

We did not do the work. Todd suggested a cost-saving alternative. We didn't use him, and his visit and advise were free. Next time we need drywall or painting, he'll get the first call.

I cannot recommend Todd and his painters highly enough. Todd was both knowledgeable and professional. His painters, Shane and Mike, were very skilled and flexible for the three weeks they worked in our house. Shane and Mike were always clear about their schedule and cleaned-up every day before leaving. Todd even agreed to have the painters come back to paint all the closets after we had moved out. They made a very stressful time much less so.

Wonderful. The provider was timely, Todd came out and was very professional and directed Ray on what exactly needed done. Got the job done in one day and the cracks are gone! Hopefully they stay gone this time!

The dry wall repairs were perfect and the painting was superb. The wall corner looks good as new. I would not hesitate to hire this company again.

First, virtually no one in Indy will reply to a request for small to medium size drywall repair jobs except The Painting Edge. I had some cracked drywall repaired around a window, and a ceiling replaced from a leak on the second floor, small time drywall repair. My main contact Todd was very responsive and punctual with the estimate. Rick, the professional doing the work, was well a real pro, no fuss, very courteous, and on time. I would definitely hire again.

If quality matters, these are the guys you want to hire. I just had almost the entire main level of my beat up old Broad Ripple home painted by Todd and his crew and they did absolutely phenomenal work. I can't recommend them highly enough. Todd was extremely helpful with color selection and throughout the entire week-long project, the guys on the crew were friendly, professional, funny, and extremely attentive to detail. These guys actually care about doing excellent work. They showed up early, worked hard all day, and cleaned up neatly at the end of each night. Just to give you a quick impression of what you're going to get, this is the first time in my life I've ever had a contractor redo an entire room because THEY weren't happy with how the paint job came out. (I actually thought it looked decent) Additionally, if you've got some rough looking walls and aren't sure if these are the right guys for the job, just know that their 'patch and paint' job on a couple of my rooms was 10x better quality than the drywallers that I'd hired to fully skim coat a couple of the others. If you've got a home that's seen better days, these guys know what they're doing and don't skip steps or cut any corners in the process of fixing it. For the staining work, I'm amazed at what Aaron was able to do with my cruddy old fireplace mantle. Even though it started out as raw, unfinished wood with paint still in the grain ( it had been previously painted and then stripped before it came into my possession), he was able to turn it into a nice dark color that looks great in the room Yes, as others have mentioned, they aren't the cheapest, but I think that for the quality of work, they're not really overcharging either. In retrospect, I think what Todd quotes is simply what it costs to do the job right, with a fair profit for the business. If you want to be sure you're going to be happy with the result, don't waste your money elsewhere.

Todd was very professional and guarantees his work if the crack comes back. His drywall man, Ray, is an artist. He was able to match the existing stomp pattern perfectly. You can barely tell that work was done in this very conspicuous area.

Todd arrived on time to quote the job. Was flexible with our schedule to get the job scheduled. Once sub was onsite to start the work there was an issue with the pattern on the ceiling getting an exact match. They were very honest and didn't want to finish the job as they wanted to make 100% the pattern matched. Long story short the sub ended up having to customize a stamp to match. It matched pretty much perfectly. It was so refreshing to see someone take pride in their work! would definitely use again.

We are extremely pleased with the results. The two loose ceiling patches look like new. Prep and cleanup were perfect. We enjoyed the simplicity and ease of working with them. Though a bit pricey, the outcome was well worth the extra amount. We highly recommend this company.

We hired them for help with drywall repair for 4 drywall repair projects. They were very responsive and came out almost immediately to get us an estimate. They were flexible to work around my work schedule and a vacation to get the work scheduled in a timely manner. Their work was excellent and looks great. Would definitely hired again for any drywall or painting needs.

Answered all my questions when he came out to give me an estimate, Kept me apprised of when they would start project, what time the workers would arrive and did an overall awesome job communicating with me. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Todd, Ray (drywall), Brian and Toby (painters). Brian also answered any questions I had and asked me questions before he did something he was unsure of.
