Todd is great to work with. He answers all calls immediately, answers all questions and monitors his crews during the job. There were a couple of areas requiring touch up and he attended to these immediately. The quality of work was great. All areas were prepped/caulked before painting and all painting is done with brush and rollers, which makes what appears to be a high price much more fair. We were impressed and pleased with the job.

Todd came to give an estimate, in spite of a very busy schedule. Since his men do not remove, polish & put back the hardware (handle, dead bolt, knocker & kick plates), he recommended someone who might be able to do all that is required for the door. He was most attentive to our needs, and we have no doubt he could have done a superb job.

Todd's attention to detail is outstanding. Todd personally kept in contact with me to up date me every day on the project and what was happening. The surface of the walls in my bathroom are even and smooth. They filled every nail hole, and you cannot see any blemishes from nail holes or the seams from the dry wall repair. I am amazed at how perfect the walls look and how good of a painting job they do.

We had a great experience. From start to finish, Todd Cartmel's company was fantastic to work with. He responded quickly and professionally to our request for an estimate (we waited weeks for 2 other companies). Everything was in writing including the estimated length of time for the project. Todd met with us on three occasions prior to the start of the project to insure there were no questions unanswered. Although he estimated it might take 3 weeks, Todd sent a 3rd painter the majority of the time to minimize our inconvenience. We were pleasantly surprised to have the project completed in 2 weeks. There was a lot of extra sanding involved due to the fact that we had lots of wallpaper removed. We had another person remove the wallpaper prior to getting the estimate from Todd. We paid the exact amount of the estimate although we added a small amount of exterior painting and some interior trim as a result of new doors. Todd's crew was extremely polite and professional.

They were great to work with, very neat. They cleaned up after they were done each day. We were very pleased with their work and will use them again.

Job 1: I am having come back out to do more painting. I can't say enough good things about him. He is also very reasonably priced. Job 2: This will be the 5th time I have hired them to paint for me. The work performance was excellent and on time.

I had worked with Todd before on a previous house and used him again on a new house. I wanted to paint everything before the furniture was moved in so he put me on his schedule right away and came over with color charts to work with me on picking colors. He explained the wallpapering process in great detail and although he quoted a price he made me aware of problems they might find when they removed the wallpaper which might increase the price. When the work began Todd called me daily to give me a status report on the progress. I made frequent visits to the house and found his painters to be hard working, clean and thorough. When they left for the day they cleaned up all areas and stacked their supplies in the garage, including the ladders they used. After the painting was completed Todd said to wait until after furniture was moved and then they came back and did the touch ups. I would recommend this company to anyone and have nothing but the highest regard for their work.

We had the wall paper in the room removed. They came the next day, repaired the walls, and put on primer and two coats of paint.

When they took off the wall paper and sanded I expected their to me lots of dust. There wasn't. My A rating says it all. Very nice people.

Everyone that worked on my home did a great job. The house looks great and Todd is always great to work with. He always makes sure I'm taken care of and I will continue to use The Painting Edge for all of my painting needs.

Outstanding results! Todd came out in a timely miner and submitted a bid on the job. I was impressed with his professionalism and know-how. His company did the work and should have taken before and after pictures because the room was transformed. They did an excellent job in painting our sunroom and getting all the various surfaces (brick, unfinished wood, etc.) to look cohesive. Greg did the actual work and was very courteous and professional. Both he and Todd offered suggestions on how best to paint the room and they were very accommodating with any touch-ups after the project was complete. I would rate this company as Highly Recommended. Once you talk to Todd, you realize how professional and committed to excellence he and his workers are.

Very good. Todd Cartmel, the owner, was courteous, professional, prompt and responsive. He kept me updated on the schedule and when I could expect his workers. After the first day I pointed out some spots that had not been spackled. The workers were very courteous and quickly fixed the spots. Todd was professional throughout. His team did a good job.

Todd came out personally to inspect what I wanted done and was very thorough in asking questions. I mentioned to him that I was going to have a couple of mirrors removed that had been glued on by the previous owners and he accounted for that in his estimate and recommended a contractor. Overall, his estimate was competitive compared to other professionals I had checked out. I went with Todd's group because of his detail orientation when assessing the work to be done, that he was willing to start work right away, and that he does not sub-contract his work. Todd's crew was extremely friendly and very professional. I had absolutely no concerns about leaving the house while they worked. Todd's crew did an outstanding job and finished ahead of schedule. The room looks great! Their lines were absolutely perfect, there was not a smudge of paint to be found, and the repair job on the walls was great. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a painter.

Received an estimate last fall for painting. Needed piece of wood siding replaced due to woodpecker damage. Due to rainy weather last fall, the painting was not done, but the wood was replaced and painted to match existing siding. Last week they came out and did the all the prep. and painting in 2 and a half days. Todd was very responsive and on site at the beginning of each day. He kept us informed of the progress. The on site crew were respectful of our property, and kept the area clean. We also received an additional discount because the work could not be done last fall. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend The Painting Edge.

Job 1: I can't say enough good things about this company. Todd Cartmel, the owner, and his crew represent quality and professionalism. This is the 2nd home that The Painting Edge has done for us and both experiences went flawlessly! My husband and I both work from home, but were never inconvenienced during the painting process. Todd and his guys arrived on time each day and cleaned up each room as they finished. Everything was covered with drop cloths and the job was definitely completed on time. Todd even went out of his way to call us to set things up while we were out of town. We are very, very happy with the end results.

Tod and his crew worked under a pretty tight deadline to meet our needs, as we had just moved into our home and needed the whole interior painted rather quickly. They were extremely polite and friendly and accommodated all of our requests, which included several last minute changes. John... the crew leader was exceptionally helpful, and we couldn't be happier with the job done for a great price! I will not hesitate to use them in the future for any other painting we have done. I was more than satisfied with the work done at my house. Todd Cartmel, the owner of The Painting Edge, helped first with my color selections. He repeatedly said that he was not an interior decorator, but he was so knowledgeable that I had complete confidence in his recommendations, and all the colors did turn out beautifully! Todd assigned a crew of three painters who were prompt, tidy, clean and QUIET, and that's without saying anything of their high quality workmanship. Todd checked in often; although it was hardly necessary considering how professional the crew was, and when the painting was completed, he made sure that I was completely satisfied before he took payment. I will be getting quotes soon for painting the rest of the house, and I really do hope that Todd wins my business a second time!

They were very professional and very timely. All of the workers cleaned up after themselves and have great communication. I would definitely recommend them.

Todd gave me an estimate in the summer and made arrangements to come in the fall since I was not in a big hurry for the work to be completed. The time commitment that I was given for the work was met and the work was completed as agreed. One room had a larger crack and I was told if it didn't hold that an alternate method would be used at no charge for another trip. When I contacted Todd back, he sent someone back out to perform the alternate method and repaint the area. Todd made sure I was satisfied with the work and was very responsive when I called. I have already made arrangements to use him again in the spring to do some exterior painting as well as additional interior painting. He is very easy to work with.
