This is the second time I've used The Painting Edge for interior painting. The first time was apx 3 years ago and then again this summer. The most recent painting included: interior walls and baseboards in entry, living, dining, and kitchen, painting a two story stairwell and landing, painting second floor landing/hall and three bedrooms. The team that Todd sent was professional and did a great job. They patched walls, dealt with nail pops, and sanded and cleaned the walls prior to any painting. They attended to detail in the painting and it looks great. They cleaned up at the end of each day and did a general clean up at the end of the job. The work was scheduled ahead of time. We had to make a schedule adjustment - not an issue for me. Each day, the team showed up on time and spent a full day working. I highly recommend them.

Todd (Owner) reviewed my water damage and provided a detailed list of things to replace and check. His team kept me in the loop at all times regarding schedule. Each of his team members were thoroughly professional, friendly, and went straight to work. Questions were answered promptly, and Todd himself came to my house a few times to ensure work was progressing as expected. I can honestly say the work has been flawless! I haven't found the first defect in the drywall, the ceiling texture was a perfect match, and the painting team was able to match my wall color spot-on. Everything was cleaned up, and even a follow-up vacuum on my part found very little dust left behind. Overall, I'm THRILLED I found this team. Their estimates were very competitive, but there's something to be said about personal connection and thoroughness. If I were to ever need significant painting or drywall work performed, I won't hesitate to contact The Painting Edge again.

The job was seamless and no work on us at all! The crew was polite and courteous. They clean up after themselves and make it look like they were never there. They spent countless hours ensuring every spot was perfect. I highly recommend them if you want the job done right the first time!

We have an iron fence that was wearing; needed prepping, and painting. Todd Cartmel reviewed the paint needed and did a specialty treatment on our fence. He sent out a whole crew of guys that completed the fence, as well as our house railings, in one day. A different crew did repairs and patch work on the exterior of our home concurrent to this work. They have painted the entire exterior of our home on three separate occasions, so this was our fourth time hiring them. The crew and their work are top notch, and we would definitely hire them again for all of our painting needs! They are neat, clean, precise, and respectful. Would not hire anyone else. Cannot say enough good things about this crew and their work ethic!

Over the last 4 years, we have used The Painting Edge to paint the outside of our house, inside of our house, as well as to repair drywall damage. Our experience has been nothing but FANTASTIC! EXTERIOR - the outside of our home was a big project. It took them nearly two weeks to finish it (two coats). The team that came out were not only professional, but they were fun, happy, and a joy to talk to each day. They always had a smile on their face and seemed genuinely happy to be painting our house. AND, they worked well together - talking to each other, sharing stories, etc. It made it a great experience. At the end, they completely cleaned things up and we were left with a beautiful newly painted home. And, over the following two years, would come back and do touchups at no cost and with no hassle. INTERIOR - last winter (Dec. 2019) we had Todd's team come out and paint the inside of our home. We have some very tall ceilings in our basement (18 feet) and on our main floor. Todd sent out a great crew of 2-3 people and it took them about 3-4 days to complete the job. Again, our experience was that the painters LOVED their job, had fun doing their work, and were a delight to have in our home each day. They not only did a great job of painting, but an even better job of prepping! Our walls had a lot of sanding and patching that needed done - and now the walls look even better than brand new! In addition to the general painting, when we were selling our home, I called Todd in a pinch as I needed someone to come in and do some touchup painting throughout the house - two day's worth - and all at the last minute. He not only adjusted his schedule, but sent us someone who was a PRO at not only painting, but caulking and sanding in order to make our windows, baseboards, and doors look brand new! Todd literally bent over backwards to help us. DRYWALL - There are drywallers...and then there are PROs. Todd had Ray come out to our home and he worked MAGIC on our walls. We had several areas of drywall damage that had been "repaired" by another drywall company but had been left in shambles. Ray not only fixed those issues, but literally made the walls look brand new. In our master bathroom, we had a lot of drywall damage due to a remodeling project. The amazing part is that we started the remodeling over the weekend, realized we were going to have significant damage, and Todd was able to have Ray come over and repair the damage within days! And, of course, the walls looked brand new. I cannot speak highly enough about Ray and his work!

We worked with Todd to have our main interior painted. This included our family room, kitchen, and a couple of short hallways. They gave the walls 2 coats and painted one coat on the trim and around the windows. Kevin and Josh did the job in just under 4 days. They were both very professional and they took great care in protecting our floors and furniture. And, the painting looks great. We are very pleased and will use them in the future.

We hired the Painting Edge to repair some water damage to our drywall and repaint two rooms in the house. The guys started the work a day early, made numerous drywall repairs, primed and painted our rooms – all for the estimated price. The guys are polite and punctual, they treat our house with respect, and always cleaned up the rooms very nicely. We have used the Painting Edge for several jobs, and intend to call them on our next project too!

Work was performed during cold weather in a non heated garage. Repaired 4 loose joint tape runs that were peeling away and then painted entire ceiling. Todd's crew did a fantastic job. While doing the work, they provided covers for personal items and cleaned up area when job was completed. In addition, Todd provided continuous communication regarding work progress and schedules.

The Painting Edge painted my house a couple of years ago so I contacted them with this small job. The woodpecker holes were expertly repaired by The Painting Edge. No complaints and it looks great.

The painters are extremely professional.... they took such great care in handling and coving my furnishings before painting. The walls were refurbished completely before any painting was done.. my 22 year old home looks new again that’s yo painters edge!

Great job by everyone involved, it looks fabulous! The workers (Ray & Rich) did a wonderful job cleaning up and they also did a great job of setting up before to minimize any unnecessary dust or paint.

We needed to have our large living room painted before we moved in and the team was able to get it done in the timeframe we needed, which had been within a week. We've lived in the house for over a year now and continually get compliments on how well it was done (it's a giant complicated room). We'll definitely be using them again for any painting needs we have.

In this day of poor workmanship, I must share that I have found the most professional and competent company of the age. I hired The Painting Edge to paint my 2300 square foot home on the inside. The assignment included ceilings, trim and walls with plaster repair and primer. The estimate was carefully prepared and very through. I had three bids. I could have saved money with others, but I had a good recommendation on this company and the owner was clearly serious about providing an excellent experience. And he delivered and more. A week before our painting began, the owner came to our home to tell us what to expect. He told us the painters would start at 8, would have a morning and afternoon break and lunch. They would leave at 4. He asked what bathroom they could use and where they could clean their equipment. I liked knowing exactly what to expect. They left their areas clean and neat every single day. The day the painters arrived, (they were in the neighborhood before 8 as they were every day they were painting) and they walked in right on time. These young men were absolutely amazing. They were respectful toward me and my home. They were kind to my dog, who loved them. Our painters took pride in their work and were excellent. Prepping to paint was a huge part of the job, and the furniture was completely covered in plastic, wood floors were covered in paper, carpet was covered with tarps and both were taped in place. We moved the knick knacks and lamps, but our painters cheerfully moved what we couldn’t. And when the job was finished, they cleaned up and moved things back to where they belonged. It was AMAZING! Cabinets were covered with plastic and openings were made for access to appliances. Any area being seriously plastered was encased in a plastic square. Vacuums were run during sanding. There was light dust, but nothing like past experiences. Cracks were filled, nails were pounded in and plastered and even unneeded openings, like for phone jacks, were filled in. The plaster job was perfect in every case. Before painting, in addition to plastering, walls and trim were sanded. Two to three young men painted in our home for sixteen days. They listened to good music, with my permission. I enjoyed the music, too. At times they sang with the music (I was on a different floor, but I could vaguely hear them singing.) These were happy workers. They made the work easier by enjoying themselves. They spoke respectfully to each other. They worked when they were in the house. No cell phone chatting, just work. (After the first room was painted, I realized I had made a horrible mistake on the color. It was a matter of changing color or changing carpet. I was upset beyond belief. I had to call the owner in the evening. I hate to bother people after hours, but I was physically sick. He was so kind and so helpful. I was on a flight the next morning at 10:30 and would be away for a week. He offered me alternatives and even suggest paint colors. I decided to be at the Sherman Williams store the next morning when they opened at 7. Todd had them expecting me. I selected two different shades and was out of the store by 7:14. A painter met me at the house and painted the colors on the wall in a huge area and set fans to quickly dry them. I was able to select a color that has been just right. I was off to the airport by 8. Of course, I had to eat some of the custom color paint that was already in place. The owner was very reasonable about repainting the room. He wanted me to be happy. I am touched all over again at his kindness. My stomach was very appreciative, too.) Finally, at the end of each day, the crew spent the last part of the day making the home as neat, clean and livable as possible. This painting experience was better than I could ever imagine. I respected our painters and their work ethic more than I can say. These were young men. They were reliable. They didn’t cut corners. They not only painted my home, but they restored my faith in the next generation. I wish I could find companies and teams like this for everything I need to have done in my home. Kudos to the painters and also to the owner for hiring excellent workers and making sure that they met his high standards.
