Great, polite, clean, prompt service.

We liked their level of professionalism the most. We have them often, and they are coming back soon. They have done everything for interior and exterior painting for us for two homes. They are always on time, always very professional, always do a good job. They are our go to paint company. It's not the lowest price you can get, but their work is worth it.

As evidenced by the hundreds of positive reviews on this site, there is a reason why people continually hire Todd and his crew. I wish that I could give this company higher than an A rating – our experience with them was AMAZING. Anyone who hires them will be incredibly glad that they did. Todd was immediately responsive, contacting us within 24 hours of our website inquiry. He fit us into the schedule for an estimate within the narrow timeframe we had available to get into the new house prior to closing. Once we settled on what work needed to be done, Todd worked tirelessly to get us on the books with a crew the weekend we moved in. This is not an easy feat given that we had less than two week turnaround from estimate to house closing AND that is it summer time. In total, we had three bedrooms, one office, One bathroom and one wall in the family room painted - spread over two floors of the house. Two of the bedrooms required repair from prior owner wear. We picked out new colors for several of the rooms, but needed to match an existing color in the house for the family room wall. Todd and his crew helped make this match as we did not know from the prior owner what the color was. The crew was incredible - in addition to doing impeccable work, they worked with us to schedule specific rooms around other contractors behind working in the house at the same time. On the second day, they were able to work around the movers are bringing our furniture back into the house. They were clean, incredibly professional, personable and did outstanding work - at the end of each workday, one would've had no idea there had been painters there during the day. Our seven-year-old daughter was running around on one of the days, and they were always so kind to her, letting her see the progress at the color in her new bedroom. On the last day, the guys were kind enough for to help us move some furniture around in our living room. I can say without hesitation that we genuinely enjoyed having them around the house, and were sorry to see them go when the job was done. That is something that one can't usually say about contractors. I will unequivocally use this group again in the future - they are THAT good.

they did an excellent job repair my drywall, you cant even tell they tell repaired it. they did a great job cleaning up, and didn't leave a mess. They were professional and on time, I definitely recommend using them.

Working with The Painting Edge has been the most pleasant experience! We appreciated the daily email communication from Todd Cartmel so we knew when to expect the crew (due to frequent rain days). The crew were courteous, polite, professional, and friendly. They showed up on the dot when they were expected and did their work quietly and efficiently. We have extensive landscaping and perennials around the house and they were so careful of all of the plants with no damage done. We were 100% satisfied and would highly recommend them.

Todd and the crew did excellent work for us. In particular was some tricky dry-walling that needed to be done on a ceiling. This was re-work from a previous contractor that left it in a less than desirable condition. The work ended up being a bit more extensive to get the look just right. I appreciate the extra effort to getting it to a point that it appears no issue/repair was ever made (which is really the point when getting repairs).

Josh did our interior work and he was SUPERB. He was professional, focused and very pleasant. Josh was utterly responsible and trustworthy. The drywall work was also very well done. The owner Todd, was a pleasure to work with and his company is the best we have ever worked with. It was very expensive, but the quality was like nothing we have ever had before.

The painters were on time every morning the first day I was in the back of the house cleaning windows and when I went outside I saw that the two painters had left. One of the painters came back said he had called to me to let me know they were leaving but I did not respond so he came back to make sure I was okay. This is an example of how I was treated the week they were in my house. I have never left workmen in my house while I ran errands but I had no problem leaving the painters while I went to the store. They carried the litter boxes down the steps don't even know if they like cats.

Todd was prompt on replying to my request and provided a quote for the services within a day. Work went very well. Drywaller showed up on time, was extremely professional, did a fantastic job on the repair project, did a terrific job of keeping the work area isolated, and left the area cleaner than when he started. The textured ceiling repair blend perfectly with the existing. A great job and experience with The Painting Edge. Would highly recommend them for projects.

The work was expertly completed. I couldn't detect at all that any work had been done as the wall looked brand new and the paint was perfectly blended in. My full deposit was returned and the work came in under budget. I couldn't be more pleased with Todd's professionalism, his expert work and his responsiveness. I will certainly use The Painting Edge in the future and recommend anyone needing their services.

I contacted the Painting Edge on Angie's List and within a day the owner, Todd, called me to set up a time to stop by to give an estimate. Because of his professionalism and fair price, I ended up having Todd and his guys install drywall on a room on my house, and also do some drywall repair in a separate room. I live in an older home and during a remodel I had taken my bathroom down to the studs and because of the quirks older homes present, I was worried about how well any drywall installer would be able to tie the old in with the new. Todd's main drywaller, Ray, did such an incredible job that even friends of mine who work in new home construction were amazed. Properly mudding drywall is an art form and Ray has it down. Incredible job. My entire experience with Todd and his crew was the best Angie's List contact I've had and I plan on getting with him this summer when it's time to paint me house. Highly recommended. After completion, you could not tell that the ceiling had damages. The repair was blended perfectly to the existing texture.

Excellent Job! During the estimate visit, the owner made some big promises about how his drywall expert could install and finish walls without disturbing the original ceiling. I was somewhat skeptical, but that was what I really wanted to be done. I am amazed by what Ray was able to do - the walls are perfect, and the seam is completely invisible! The room looks far better than it did originally. He has even perfected the finishing compound to minimize dust during sanding. Drywall is an art. I did several parts of this bathroom project myself, but learned long ago that drywall finishing is best left to the experts. Ray is an expert!

Everything went great; Todd and team (Marvin, Ray, and another gentlemen working with Marvin, whose name escapes me at the moment) were professional and punctual throughout the engagement. I'm very happy with the results, both Ray's patch/re-texture, which perfectly matches the surrounding ceiling area, and Marvin and helper's very fast work in the garage closet. I would not hesitate to hire Todd again in the future, and certainly recommend him to others.

Todd responded to my request for a quote very quickly and we met onsite the next day. He provided a quote that night and they were able to begin the repairs two days later which was crucial in my situation because it was for a house I am trying to sell and timing of the work was very important with showings occurring.

The crew showed up on time, worked diligently and completed all work in a timely manner. We couldn't be happier.

This is the second time we have hired The Painting Edge. The first time was for some interior painting two years ago, this time was for the entire exterior painting of our house including the interior of a screened in porch. Once again, we are very satisfied with the results! The crew spent a significant amount of prep time before they applied the paint. I now have a better understanding of what really needs to be done before you actually paint. We called Todd very late in the season to get a quote on this job. Todd came right out and gave us a quote. He also told us what things needed to be repaired prior to painting. Because it was already late October, he said they would try their best to finish off before the weather turned too cold. Fortunately, we had very mild weather in November and they came through. Several of the painters even worked on a Saturday and Sunday in order to finish up. All through the process, Todd communicated with us and let us know exactly when things would happen. This really reduced our stress. Everything was finished. The quality is excellent, and we are very happy with the results. We will certainly use The Painting Edge again in the future.

Todd Cartmel and his crew at the Painting Edge are wonderful to work with, and they do a professional job. They worked around my schedule and completed the job on time. They do a great job and always clean up very well when they finish for the day. I have used them in the past to paint the outside of my home and they were the only painting company that guaranteed that they would power sand all windows and flaking walls. Power sanding is the key to doing a good job, particularly on windows in a 60 year old home. I had 5 different people from the Painting Edge work on my home for this project. They were all very kind and courteous and did a professional job. I would highly recommend The Painting Edge, and have already given their name to two potential customers. If you need painting, wallpaper removal, wall repair etc. i would suggest that you give Todd Cartmel a call at the Painting Edge.

Fantastic. The team of Shane and Josh from The Painting Edge did the work. They had great attention to detail. Everything was either moved out of the room or covered in plastic and protective cloths laid on the floor. The walls were prepped -- spackled were needed and then the walls were lightly sanded. The walls were vacuumed before painting to ensure no dust got caught up with the rollers. Then when the painting was done and the plastic and cloths removed, Shane and Josh vacuumed again. My rooms were cleaner after the rooms were painted. Shane and Josh arrived promptly every morning at 8 am and worked diligently throughout the day. With a disruptive process such as painting, Shane and Josh made it a smoother experience. Also there have been no paint splatters left of my hardwood trim. Very pleased.

Todd and his crew did an outstanding job. He paid attention to details and made sure a quality job was done. We were amazed at how quiet and courteous his crew was, and how quickly and completely they cleaned up after themselves each day.

Todd returned my call within an hour making an appointment for the same week to come & give me an estimate. I felt very comfortable working with Todd the first time he came out to my home! He explained everything in great detail what the painters would be doing. The painters came everyday at 8:00 to do a full day's work. I also felt very comfortable having them in my home! They did fantastic work very good detail work when painting & also the drywall guy did great detail work as both walls that needed drywall repair were textured. I would not hesitate to call The Painting Edge to do painting again for me.

WOW! I could not be more pleased! We tried to paint our trim ourselves in one room (painting original "natural" finish wood to white) and it was tedious and did not look very good after all our efforts. We decided to look into having the rest of the house done professionally. We obtained 4 quotes -The Painting Edge was in the middle. I was assured by Todd that the work would be professional, painters would be on-time, and the transformation would be worth them needing to paint for approximately 3 weeks. He was correct about every promise. First, the painters arrived exactly on time (8am) as promised each and every day (I could set my watch by them!). They were pleasant, polite, professional, and despite having to lay tarps and plastic all over to protect our floors/furniture, they made sure I was able to have access to any areas in my home that I needed. Crazily, I was sad when they were finished, I got so used to them being around! They protected all areas impeccably -not a drop of paint where it shouldn't be and they cleaned up EVERYTHING (never left a speck of trash behind). On weekends, they made the areas that weren't finished as livable and possible for us. They consulted with us on every aspect -making sure that the area they would paint next fit into our plans. Next, the quality... AMAZING! I feel I'm a perfectionist, but they fixed and improved things I didn't even notice were a problem! I have heard from friends who have had painting done that they were disappointed that the painters did not spackle or repair minor drywall imperfections -not so with The Painting Edge... not only did they do all those repairs and spackling as part of their work, they also caulked seams and made the finished product look like it came from the factory that way. They were so good, that we added additional projects as they were here (a few ceilings and front door). We plan to have additional painting done and will DEFINITELY use The Painting Edge -it isn't even an option to use another company for us!

Working with Todd and his crew was easy. From the initial appointment to the actual painting it went quick and smooth. His crew did a great job with the prep work. They had to paint over some dark colors and I couldn't be happier with their work.
