Description of Work: I used The Painting Edge about a week ago for painting inside of the house and taking wallpaper out.

Description of Work: Awesome experience! We had a kitchen ceiling leak from the ice storm back in Feb 2011. Insurance company gave us money to fix the damage. We called Todd based on Angie's List and were not disappointed. Todd is very responsive, punctual and professional. We had the old dry wall cut out, attic insulation replaced, dry wall repaired and kitchen ceiling and walls painted. In addition, we hired them to paint the living room and master bedroom walls and ceiling. Everything looked amazing! Todd is a good and honest business owner. He holds very high expectations. When the drywall ceiling repair was complete, he came to inspect the job and noticed an obvious line in the texture before we did. He brought it to our attention and asked if they could come back and fix the area. It looks great and you cannot tell between the old texture on the ceiling versus the new repair. They are very good at what they do and hold themselves to high expectations. Highly recommended! I am not sure how they compare on price. We didn't get other quotes. They were so highly recommended that we felt good about our choice to go with them.

Description of Work: I hired The Painting Edge to repaint three rooms in my house: my kitchen, guest bathroom and office. This included the removal of some crown moulding and patching of the nail holes. My office was red, so it required three coats to completely cover the old paint.

Description of Work: Estimate provided for removing wallpaper in dining room, kitchen, 1/2 bath, foyer, staircase, hallway (including ceiling in foyer, hallway, and bathroom); prep walls including wash walls,skim, sand,prime, and caulk; paint all surfaces where wallpaper was removed plus trim, ceilings and 3 closets. Mr Cartmell arrived promptly when he said he would, walked through the house asking questions and taking notes. He emailed an estimate to us the next day ~$4300+. In the end we did not choose to use The Painting Edge because the estimate for the job was open ended for some costs (cost to repair walls was left pending until after the paper was remove) which made it difficult to budget the project and compare to other qutoes we received. Also, the estimated time to complete was at least 5 days longer than the company we ended up utilizing.

Description of Work: Interior painting, three bedrooms including ceilings in all rooms and woodword in two, family room and one exterior window, hallway, and woodwork in another hallway. I cannot say enough good things about their work and the man who performed the work. I had had them before for a much smaller job, and would hire them again when needed. Since I knew the quality of their work I did not get any other estimates so my comparison of their price to others may not be correct.

Description of Work: They did an excellent job and they are great to work with - they are polite, meticulous, and do everything to the customer's satisfaction. There was alot of painting to do and some repairs as the house is 45 years old. When they were done the outside was like new and looked terrific.

Description of Work: They painted most of the rooms of our house and this included the ceilings. They also painted our new front door inside and out. They also touched up paint on our French door. Their work is always perfect! They never get paint on things where it should not be. I have used The Painting Edge before to have the exterior of my house painted, and I will always use the Painting Edge for all future painting. Their work is the best and their customer service is truly outstanding!

Description of Work: The only thing that I received from The Painting Edge was an estimate. Todd was on time and very professional. However, I found his price to be a little high from the company that I went with.

Description of Work: MR. CARTMEL RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO MY PHONE CALLS. HE SENT HIS WORKERS IN ON A SAT. AM TO BEGIN REPAIRS AND THEY FINISHED UP ON A SUNDAY AM. ALL WORK WAS COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION AND MR. CARTMEL CAME BY TO GIVE HIS OK BEFORE DELIVERING THE INVOICE.

Description of Work: PAINTED MY MASTER BEDROOM AND BATHROOM. AT NO EXTRA CHARGE, THEY REPAIRED A VERY LARGE HOLE IN MY BATHROOM WALL. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE AND DO QUALITY WORK. THEY ALSO GAVE ME A NICE DISCOUNT FOR BEING A REPEAT CUSTOMER.
