Matt worked with us to come up with a design and he offered lots of ideas to meet our needs. All the workers on Matt's crew were friendly, punctual and professional. Matt gave us a detailed project calendar at the start of the project and stuck to it, which was refreshing! We just finished a complete kitchen and family room remodel with Matt Wright , The HomeWright and could not be more pleased with the project. The whole process from start to finish was great. Matt had been referred by friends and neighbors that had some work done for them and were highly satisfied. Matt came to meet with us, we shared what we wanted to do and sent him pictures. He drew out plans that incorporated everything we had asked for. He has companies and contacts for each step of the process and picking out what we wanted could have been overwhelming, but it was hassle free with lots of choices. He has a designer on his team, Amanda that will meet you at appointments and assist with your selections, we were always on the same page. We have had other home improvements and they were disasters. Matt was there for every delivery and made sure all was timely. From the time we signed the contract with HomeWright, we had a calendar of who would be onsite and what work was to be completed. The work was always completed when he said he would be, and he finished right on time. The guys that do the work are great as well, always on time, clean up the mess before leaving and such nice guys! After every selection, we were sent an updated budget sheet that showed the costs, so we always knew where we were with finances. We will not do another project without Matt! Thank you for our beautiful kitchen and family room!

After living in our home for 20 years, it was time to freshen up the look in our Guest and Master Bathrooms. Functionally, they worked fine, but with the expectation of potentially selling our house in a couple of years, a more modern look would be necessary. We were referred to Matt from a work colleague who highly recommended Matt's company and we couldn't have been happier. We had an idea of what we wanted, but Matt and his team really came together with great ideas that would not only meet the budget targets we gave him, but he was also able to fit our schedules. We needed to have the Guest bath finished before our son's Labor Day weekend wedding and Matt's team delivered. Results were fabulous! Following the Guest Bath, his team moved in our Master Bath and transformed this room into a beautiful, modern bathroom with clean lines and high functionality. The room actually feels a lot bigger even though the floor space didn't change. The new stand-alone soaking tub is beautiful and the walk in shower is top shelf. Workmanship from electrical to plumbing to tile work and all of the finishes are incredible. Some of friends have asked to see our remodel and have been impressed at the look and quality. Amanda was spot on with colors, tying in all elements in both bathrooms. The guest bath has beautiful subway tiles around the bath and high up on the wall. Since this home would likely be attractive to families with younger children, we kept the original vanity height in the guest bath, but took the Master Bath vanity up to the higher level found in many of the newer homes today. The tile work in the Master Bath shower, while having some neutrality in colors, is eye-catching in design without being so crazy to turn off potential future buyers. John's tile work was precise and really showed his experience, expertise and commitment to delivering a great final product. Another key point is that on several occasions we were out of town and we were completely comfortable with Matt's team coming into the house to work while we were away. They always left the house in great shape and we never had any concerns. Overall, we really enjoyed working with Matt and are starting on another project very soon. I would highly recommend The HomeWright, LLC for your future remodeling projects.

We’re in love with our new master bath! We went from our outdated, heavy on the brass-and-mirror-trimmed bath to one that’s very elegant and spa-like. We’re so pleased with the high quality of work and fine craftsmanship provided by Matt and his team. And, it really was a pleasure working with Matt. He’s very customer-oriented and an excellent communicator. Throughout the project, we knew what to expect and when. We spoke frequently either in person or by text , email or phone. From the beginning, Matt worked hard to get a sense of what we liked. He even had us share our folders on HOUZZ with him which was really smart. And, he was always open to our ideas even when I labored over decisions on the vanity mirror and specific styles of glass for the cabinet doors. Matt knew these details were really important to me and he wanted me to be happy with the end product. In fact, he and Amanda, his design expert, met me at the house one afternoon so the three of us could collaborate and align on the style and dimensions of the mirror. Amanda was great, too. I can’t imagine how overwhelming it would have been to pick everything out on my own. My first picks for tile and flooring came in much higher than budgeted so she helped me achieve a similar look within budget that’s just as beautiful. We were so happy with Matt that we’re having him back after the first of the year to remodel the full guest bath and staircase.

We are so happy with the job done by Matt and his crews at the HomeWright. We had our 1985 master bath remodeled, as well as taking a wall down to a partial wall between kitchen and living room. Probably the top qualities of the company are communication and punctuality. Our project involved detailed and prompt communication throughout the process, from the initial contact, to ballpark estimate, to contracting and full design, selections, and execution. He was completely up front about where we were in the "que" (we waited about 4 months for the start), but when they started, each part of the project was completed exactly on the schedule we were given. The ballpark estimate was also pretty darn close to the final number. Crews were onsite doing something every weekday, from beginning to end, regardless of whether we were home. I was not expecting a perfect timeline personally, so that was a pleasant surprise. They also worked with us around our budget and making the most of less expensive material selections. He has vendors that he works with regularly and sends specs and budget to them in advance of your appointments. I did some appointments in like 5 minutes. His designer meets you at the appointments and helps with selections. Everything is beautiful and we are so happy with the final product(s). Our bath is incredible. We also had a slight issue with a broken mirror, but it was fixed expeditiously. He also includes generous guarantees in the contracts for his work. This is not cheapo bidder who disappears on you, leaving crappo work behind.

This is the second time we have used Matt and his crew for remodeling and it went very smoothly, again. The process, attention to detail, and quality of work are fantastic. Remodeled both of our full bathrooms (one right after the other) as well as our laundry room. Matt consults with you to create a design, establish a budget and expectations on timing (literally by providing a calendar of what will take place from start to finish and everything in between...and sticks to it). He stays in constant communication with you through the project to touch base to make sure things going as we planned. He is at the house to be sure contractors and employees are on the same page as to what is expected before work begins each day and then double checks to make sure the work was to our satisfaction (usually catching anything that may need to be touched up before we mentioned it). We felt comfortable having Matt and his crew in the house while we were not home and, in fact, after school ended and summer break began, our teenage girls were home and we were comfortable with them being home while work continued. The project went smoothly and was completed to our satisfaction. Everything looks great and we are very happy with the project.

This was our second project with Matt Wright, The Homewright. We previously remodeled our master bath. Knowing the quality of Matt's work, we did not even get any other estimates for this job. We were getting new everything in our kitchen- cabinets, countertops, backsplash, flooring. We met with Matt and his cabinet vendor and they came up with a layout that was more than I could have hoped for. Our kitchen was rather dark, so we asked about skylights and had two installed which are fantastic. Matt takes a lot of lead in time to prepare for your project and the result is a schedule that is adhered to daily. We met with his vendors well in advance of beginning the remodel, so we never felt rushed to make decisions. We saw Matt on site pretty much daily and he was easy to communicate with through texts or emails. Everyone who worked on our project was polite, punctual, and communicated with us. For us the schedule that Matt sets and follows is what puts him above many other contractors. It is refreshing to know you can count on your job being a priority with your contractor and that he will keep you in the loop on daily happenings.

We had an old 80s master bath. Now I walk in every day and say "wow I love this". Matt was so good at communicating everything - from the initial meeting through the day it was complete, he kept us informed every step along the way. He really sticks to his timeline, which is really helpful. His team was great. Everyone who came in our home to do a part of the job was really good AND they were polite and respectful. I never worried about them being in our home, even if I was not home. And I can't say enough about Amanda, who helped us select all our tile, etc.. she is fabulous!

The project went great. Originally scheduled for 20 business days, it only took 10 days. Workers were punctual, polite and efficient. The site was cleaned up daily and left very tidy. There were no surprises since the planning and contracting processes were complete. Price was reasonable compared to other estimates received.

We were referred to The HomeWright by 2 close friends. They had a great experience with their projects and strongly recommended. We did a full remodel of our laundry room (tile, electrical, plumbing, lighting, drywall, woodwork, cabinets, and paint). We also had Closet systems put in 2 bedrooms and replace a closet door. Matt provided architecture diagrams and worked with us to design a solution that met all of our needs. Matt is very detailed oriented and responsive. From our initial meetings and planning thru the walk thru at the end, Matt was always prompt and available. He sets expectations on project details, costs and timing and adheres to them. There were absolutely no surprises. We even thru him several curveballs making some small design tweaks and going in a different direction with hardware and fixture colors at the last minute. Matt accommodated all changes with a smile and stuck to all delivery dates. The contractors he used are professional and detail oriented. They we trust worthy and worked while we were away on spring break. We are very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend Matt and the HomeWright

After a very long search for the right contractor to remodel the entire first floor of our home we chose The HomeWright. The remodel included a complete new kitchen configuration; wood floors throughout the first level, stairway, and second level hallway; a remodel of the stairway to the second level; and updated trim and floor molding. Matt and his team created a beautiful living space for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We greatly appreciated that Matt created a timeline of completion that was actually met. He stressed at the outset the importance of developing a detailed, day-by-day schedule of the project from start to finish, and that schedule was met with very few minor exceptions. We knew exactly who was going to be in our home and when they were going to be there based on the schedule. All of his workers were very pleasant and respected our home as if it was their own. They cleaned up their workspace every day. Additionally, we have two teenage daughters and we felt very comfortable for them to come home alone while Matt’s team was there and we were not. There was never an issue. Matt stopped by the home every day to consult with the workers and inspect that everything was being carried out as planned. Matt then would text us with his comments and concerns that same day. We also felt comfortable contacting Matt, even in the evening and on weekends, to discuss the project. Even though we were not at the house every moment that the workers were, we felt that Matt was able to communicate the progress of the project to us very well. Communication was excellent. Finally, our project included the services of Matt’s decorator, Amanda. She was very helpful in coordinating all of our decorating choices such as countertops, cabinets, hardware and paint colors. She was available to meet us at businesses to provide her opinion during the decision process. As we tend to take a while to make decisions, she was very patient with us. This service was greatly appreciated. We are so happy that we took the time to search for the right contractor as it makes all the difference in a large project like ours. We will certainly use Matt again for our next project.

Matt uses a a very selective list of vendors who are absolutely great to work with for selection of materials. All of this is done and completed before the work begins. Matt provides a detailed budget and a Gantt chart based schedule. This was a big project that took 7 weeks from initial demo to completion. The workers are very easy to interact with and are polite and very good about cleaning up each day. Were very comfortable leaving the house each day while at work work and allowed access for week while we were out of town with no issues. The project was completed on-time and on-budget. This was also the case with bath room projects completed last year. Matt’s work is of highest quality and the finished job exceeded our expectations. We would not work with anyone else after such a positive experience last year and this year.

This is the second project we have done with Matt and we will use him again! Matt is very responsive and worked with us from start to finish. He worked with us to make sure the end product was exactly what we were looking for. His people are great - from the tiler to the painter to the decorator. He knows our style well enough that when we texted him various ideas from different parts of the world, he would find what worked - including barn doors from Wyoming. Since the bathroom had to be gutted, he scheduled so that the demo was done when we were gone. He always stayed on schedule and we knew exactly were everything stood - no surprises. We would (and do!) recommend Matt to everyone!

I can't recommend Matt and his team enough! They are AMAZING! Every person on Matt's team is top notch. What's cool about the HomeWright is that they do so much prep work that your actual job is done quickly and efficiently which lessens the time you are "under construction". By demo time, there are really no surprises and you are given a schedule so you can see exactly what is going to happen at your home on any given day. Every sub that came into our home was clean and courteous. Having a teenage daughter in the house alone was never an issue. They were very respectful and kind. Our job was always on schedule and on budget. My husband and I hired The Home Wright to remodel our outdated family room. We are thrilled with the results! Matt worked with us to accomplish the exact family room we had envisioned. Matt and his whole team were extremely easy to work with. Whenever we had a question or concern Matt was easy to reach. I never had to worry about our kids or dog getting into trouble while the family room was under construction. When they had completed their work for the day they always left the house clean and anything dangerous tucked away. The project was completed right on time. Even with an unpredictable snafu like our home losing power for 24 hours! The electrician brought extra batteries for his tools and completed the work scheduled for that day anyway! Our beautiful new family room was also right on budget. My husband and I will had an extremely positive experience. We will call The Home Wright for any home remodel we do in the future.

Everything went wonderfully. Our new bath looks like a spa. We love it. The tile on the shower and the floors is wonderful. The tile specialist, Jeff, is a master craftsman. We had Matt remodel our kitchen last year, and both projects were completed within the scheculed timeframe, ontime to the day! Matt returns calls promptly and is very upfront about how far out he is scheduling jobs He does detailed drawings, estimates and schedules and sticks to them. Matt comes daily to check on the work and be certain it is done right. Always is!

I thought it might be helpful to explain why we selected The Homewright (Matt Wright) over other remodeling companies. We talked with two other well-known and well-respected companies before making our decision, but for us, our decision was easy. The person who initially came to our house, and the one who completed the project was Matt. Not a dedicated sales person, not a dedicated project manager, the owner of the company. He had excellent ideas, and pointed out pros and cons to ideas we proposed for us to consider that affected price or functionality. The reviews on Matt's work and that of his sub-contractors was consistently excellent, and the portfolio of his work on his website show the versatility and quality of his work. Matt is great to work with, and so are his Subs, and a special mention to the great lady who helped us select our tile, Amanda. The subs work was impeccable and it was easy to see they enjoyed working for Matt. Matt gave us a calendar of when the project was going to start, what was going to done when, and when the project was going to end. It all happened as he said it would. How many contractors can you say that about? One situation some readers might find unique. Matt and we agreed to schedule the bulk of the work while we were on vacation. Everyone is so easy to work with, but a remodel is stressful to your everyday living routine. We actually jumped at the idea of Matt and his crew working while we were gone. Even though we had never worked with Matt before, we completely trusted Matt and his people and it worked out great. In this day and age of messaging, Facetime, email, and phone calls, we never felt like we missed out on a thing. We weren't concerned the work wasn't going to be done right since we weren't there. That's what we paid Matt to do. He sent us pictures daily, and of course was available to discuss anything we wanted to cover. The end result was even better than what we expected, and we expected a lot. If we have any other remodel projects we won't be shopping the project. We will call Matt to do the work.

I love my new kitchen! Matt Wright and his team did a great job! Matt came every day to check on the work. He took the time to explain us every step, and was patient with my non-fluent English. Everything was planned and written down, no bad surprise! Matt surely has very strongly held views on how things should be done, and I sometimes had divergences, but we always found a common ground, and everything went smoothly and nicely. We won't hesitate to recommend him to our friends and will definitely work with him again!

I believe this project represents our 8th or 9th separate engagement with Matt to perform substantial remodeling work at our home, and the experience with this project was just as we’ve come to expect and appreciate from Matt and his team. The workproduct is superb, the project finished on time and on budget, and Matt’s communication throughout was great. I think the fact that we’ve gone back to Matt repeatedly for remodeling projects probably speaks for itself, but, nevertheless, my wife and would not hesitate to recommend Matt to anyone with a remodeling project.

This is the third time we've used The HomeWright to do a major renovation for us. And once again they did not disappoint! Matt's process is second to none! He came in and gave us a ballpark estimate. Once we agreed to move forward, he worked up a design. I had a lot of things I wanted in my new laundry room and it was a challenge for Matt to work it all into the space - but he did it! Once we agreed upon the design he brought his entire team in to review what needed to be done. After he got their input he put together a schedule and the job started. We met with his designer to choose tile, countertop, backsplash and paint colors. She was a huge help! Matt came to the job site at least once every day to make sure things were on track and answer any questions that we had. They demo'd the area, framed, installed drywall, put in electrical, plumbing and HVAC, installed a new window, installed the herringbone patterned floor and stainless steel backsplash and painted. I couldn't be happier with the finished product! It is very functional and turned out beautifully! Matt's team finished on schedule and was very pleasant to work with. If you are looking for a trustworthy company that does exactly what they say they are going to do, I would highly recommend The Home Wright!

This was our first major remodeling experience and we did a lot of up front research. After getting a number of estimates and initial consultations, Matt Wright’s approach to design and project management made our decision to work with him easy. Once you sign the preconstruction agreement Matt really goes to work for you. He regularly communicated when we were in the design process. His design for our baths was consistent with the standards in our neighborhood. We executed the preconstruction agreement and finalized the contract at the end of May with a start date of July 13. The shared hall bath was updated by removing the existing one-piece tub/shower unit and replacing with a tub and ceramic tile surround. New tile floor installed and the existing cabinet repainted and a quartz top installed with under mount sinks and new plumbing fixtures and lighting. The master bath was gutted removing cabinetry, a one piece shower and garden tub. The room was redesigned for a larger ceramic tile shower, a new cabinet configuration with quartz top and under mounted sinks, new Anderson window, a soaking tub and all new floor tile and fixtures. Matt has preferred vendors that were very good to work with in selecting cabinetry, tile, plumbing and lighting fixtures. The project started on-time with a completion date of August 16. We did both baths at the same time and the hall bath finished about 10 days before the master. Amanda, the tile and flooring consultant came to the house to work with us on paint selections once the tile was installed. The demo and plumbing/electrical rough in went with few issues and when minor issues identified, Matt would take the time to show us what was going on and how to best address the situation. We received regular communication from Matt on our project and he was on the site every day for much of the work (he usually as 2 to four such projects in flight). We were impressed with the electrical work providedand the electrical contractor took the time to address a circuitry issue we had that was unrelated to the project. The tile work took the most project time and was fantastic. The tiler took great pride in his work and installed a glass insert waterfall feature in the master bath shower that really made the room pop. The project was completed on August 16th The project was on-time and essentially on-budget (+3%) and we have been very happy with the final product. It is a high quality job and we felt involved at every step. The workers were great people and we were comfortable with allowing them in our home we were not at the house and even our dog was completely at ease with the crew. The thoroughly cleaned up every day and even swept the plastic sheeting covering the steps and carpet. I would recommend The HomeWright to anyone looking to remodel baths or kitchens.

Matt was referred to us by a friend who had previously used him. We met with Matt and he completely redesigned our laundry room from the demolishing of the laundry room through the end result of replacing cabinets, countertop, flooring, lights, sink and faucet. Matt is very meticulous and conscientious. We met several times during the planning stages and Matt was very helpful and gave us some wonderful ideas. Matt provided us with a schedule which he followed to a "T". We either saw Matt or talked to him on a daily basis. From the very beginning to the very end, it went very smoothly. His sub-contractors were friendly and hard working. Our laundry room turned out beautiful and we have had many compliments on it. We would highly recommend Matt and will definitely use him in the future.

We were extremely happy with this project. Matt was honest enough at my first contact to call and let me know he didn't feel he could take on another project at that time, but I should contact him in a few months if we hadn't moved forward with another contractor and he would be happy to give us a quote. Of the three contractors we met with, Matt made us feel confident that he was able to accomplish what we wanted. He offered ideas and concerns to what we were suggesting and came up with alternate layouts to give us the end result that we wanted. From the decision to go forward with the precontract phase of our project, Matt was in contact with us almost weekly. He provided us with a detailed calendar so we would know what to expect. Everyone Matt had us meet with to make selections was extremely helpful and knowledgable and easy to work with. Our project began on time and was able to stay pretty much on schedule. The main tile worker had a medical issue during our project and couldn't work as long of days as he normally would so the tiling took more time than originally scheduled; however Matt was able to schedule everyone else around this issue and ended up within one day of our original finish date. During the actual project Matt was in contact with us daily, often in person, or if we missed each other, through emails, texts, phone calls. He never made us feel like we were bothering him with our questions. All of the workers who came to our house were pleasant and courteous; demo crew, construction, electrical, plumbers, tilers, painters, carpet installers and closet installers. We just finished our project 2 days ago and are blown away by how beautiful it is. Hoping to work with Matt again when we remodel our kitchen in the future.
