Our second remodeling project (this one, the Masterbath), with Matt Wright of The Homewright, LLC. We’ve already informed Matt that we intend to go with a third remodeling project in the Spring. Our experience with Matt has been just excellent. From beginning to end a stellar performance: All of his sub-contractors have long experience with Matt; all work hard, are trustworthy, and committed to quality. They obviously have great respect for Matt and seek to please him. Matt has always maintained very good communication lines with us. He is honest, and uses quality people. This last project was more complicated and involved significant demo, moving walls, tile work, Cambria, stripping ceilings and on and on. Great results. I really wouldn’t want to work with anyone other than Matt. He treats my house as if it was his own.

We just finished a complete remodel of our primary suite (bed and bathroom) and all I can say is Wow! The Home Wright team managed the project with the utmost professionalism. From the very start when Matt Wright came to quote our project we knew we wanted to work with him. He was very upfront about the project costs and timeline. His experience and skill in all things renovation related was so helpful in pulling the plans together. He provided a detailed project plan and hit every milestone. Amanda is a gifted designer who really helped us bring our vision to fruition. The electrician, the plumbers, the tilers, etc. were all talented, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I can honestly say this was the best managed home renovation I have ever experienced, and I have done a lot of renovations! 1. Follow through very good-originally contacted in early 2020, Matt said he had a wait list to put me on, and would call at end of year. He did and our project was in motion. 2. Communication excellent-Matt provided a construction schedule and would communicate times and any changes regularly. He was always available to answer our questions within the same day, often within the hour of our reaching out. 3. Hands on general contractor-Matt was at our home nearly every day that sub-contractors were working on our project. We felt that he was truly managing the project and we did not have to be overly involved. 3. Resolution of issues was excellent-with a renovation there are always surprise problems, and ours was no different. The difference was how Matt handled them. He immediately took ownership of any issue, and implemented solutions. An example was an error made by a plumbing sub-contractor. Once the error was discovered, he evaluated all options to resolve and ultimately recommended a more expensive option because it would provide us with the best product. This was resolved at his cost. For us, working with a contractor who owns an error, and takes care of the problem with the right solution is one of the primary reasons we would recommend Matt to others. So many contractors sell customers a vision, but when something inevitably goes wrong, they do not follow through on delivering a quality product at the agreed upon price.

This is our second project with Matt in two years. Great scheduling, informative, respectful of your space, and amazing work. We couldn’t be happier with the master bath remodel!

Matt Wright (The HomeWright, LLC) is an excellent contractor. He worked closely with us from initial brainstorming, through design plans to the completed remodel. He walked us through each step of the ordering process (appliances, cabinetry, fixtures, hardware, tile, flooring and paint) and managed all the trades efficiently, with grace and good humor. He provided an eight week calendar that organized the date for each step, from tear-out to install, and kept to it. We always knew what to expect and when. Every workman/woman who entered this house spoke highly of Matt, and their respect showed in their craftsmanship. Matt's communication with us was excellent. He stopped by frequently, sent text or emails, and was always helpful. We are thrilled with our new kitchen. Matt is an exceptional professional.

If you are considering a home remodel project, I highly recommend Matt Wright with The HomeWright, LLC. Matt and his team completely remodeled our home over the past 9 months, beginning with bedrooms and bathrooms last summer (May - August), then finishing the project this winter (January - March) with our Kitchen, Dining Room, Great Room and Den. With each stage of our project, Matt provided a detailed estimate, a design plan with technical drawings, a full project schedule, and consistent follow up. His team was friendly, highly skilled, and they showed up on time every single day. They even cleaned up after themselves each day! I was most impressed by Matt's attention to detail and his commitment to delivering quality work. This attribute was revealed multiple times over the course of our project, but best demonstrated prior to removing a load-bearing wall between our kitchen and great room. Matt called in an engineer to ensure the right structural decisions were made. So, if you are looking for quality work from highly skilled craftsmen, you must call The HomeWright, LLC. Matt and his team were awesome! From day one of planning to the final day he was very easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had. Matt was very organized and did a great job of keeping us up to date on the schedule. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend The HomeWright!

This was a 2 month project. Work was done in a timely manner. We kept adding additional work and Matt didn't have a problem with it. We had our kitchen gutted, our floors replaced in 2 rooms and all the floors in the house were re-finished. We had all our textured ceilings removed, all the rooms painted, including closets. Matt had to figure out a way we could open up our kitchen. He removed the wall and put a beam up. All the lighting in the kitchen and living room were replaced/upgraded. In the kitchen we replaced everything, cabinets, counter tops, tiles, all appliances, lighting, floor. We thought Matt and all his contractors were responsive, professional and friendly. We felt comfortable talking with all of them and asking questions. Matt always kept us update on things and had a calendar of who was coming that day. We are very happy with everything and already have another project we would like him to do. :)

When it came time to remodel our kitchen there was only one person we called. Matt and his team have previously completed a siding and window job, and a master bath remodel and the finish and craftsmanship stand up over the years. For our kitchen Matt and his team took time to listen and incorporate our ideas and make them become a reality. The team of contractors that Matt uses are just as professional and knowledgeable as he is. The kitchen came in on time and on budget and we could not be happier. We would recommend Matt to anyone looking to improve their home.

We just completed a total update/remodel of two bedrooms and two bathrooms with The Home Wright. We couldn’t be more pleased with Matt and the work that was done! From our first meeting he took our dreams and made them into a realistic plan and then executed the plan in a professional and timely manner! We received a schedule so we knew what to expect on a daily basis. Changes to the schedule were always communicated and Matt never left our home without making sure all our questions were answered. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome for our bathroom remodel. Matt operates in a highly professional manner. He and his team walked us through the concept alternatives, design, material selections, very methodically. My wife and I hired Matt and his team to gut, reconfigure and remodel our kitchen. It was a significant project, with removal of a wall between the kitchen and living room and raising the ceiling substantially. Before and after pictures are posted. This is our 9th significant remodel with Matt and The HomeWright. Matt delivers every time for us with wonderful communication, perfect scheduling and complete control of the project. We could not recommend him higher.

We hired Matt on the recommendation of friends from church. He did two (2) bathrooms for us between November 2019 and February 2020. I would hire Matt again. He was upfront with us with respect to his availability and timeline - both prior to starting the project and during. He nudged us to complete tasks when we needed it (we both work and have kids) and I think he built some time into project timeline because he ran pretty much on schedule. His proposed budget was pretty accurate as well - except when we wanted to do something crazy (which we did). He works with several vendors - including cabinets, tile, and a decorator. All of them were professional and kept us within the budget and told us when our ideas would work and when they would not. Ultimately, we are very happy with the quality or work and look of our bathrooms. As for complaints, no home improvement project goes completely according to plan. When there were disagreements (we had 1 or 2) Matt was willing to work with us and ultimately tried very hard to make sure we were happy. Which we are. As I said above, I would hire him again.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Matt and his team on our bathroom remodel. They did a great job of putting down plastic to keep the rest of our house clean during the six-week project. They were punctual and stayed on schedule. I also appreciated that Matt checked in regularly and kept us updated about their progress. We particularly loved working with his designer, Amanda, who has impeccable taste and a good sense of humor. The finished project is great, and we will enjoy it for many years to come. We would not hesitate to use their team again!

We highly recommend Matt and his team! We were very happy with the master bath remodel last year so we had him back to remodel our shared bath and stairway, and to replace kitchen countertop, backsplash and sink. While he was here, we decided to add on a new sink for the laundry room, and additional painting for stairwell, landing, entryway, kitchen, laundry room and guest bath. Everything looks beautiful…the updates really opened up the kitchen and the stairway is stunning with its new handrails, wrought iron balusters and runner. We gutted the shared bathroom and it’s now as pretty as our remodeled master bath. The entire process went smoothly and the quality of work is top-notch. What we appreciate most about working with Matt is that he’s an excellent communicator and he completes projects on-time; his team is experienced, friendly and neat; and his designer, Amanda, made selections easy because she knew my taste and style. Not only that, Matt is just a really great guy so we enjoy doing business with him!

We hired Matt with The HomeWright for our master bathroom remodel. We were extremely happy with the entire process. Matt was on time for every meeting and finished the project on time. He gave us a schedule of our six week remodel so we knew everyday what was happening and who would be at our house. The sub contractors were always timely, very friendly, trustworthy and cleaned up everyday when they were finished. The quality of the work was excellent. We won't use anyone else for future remodels. We were happy from start to finish! You will not find a better contractor!

From start to finish The HomeWright, LLC (Matt Wright) gave us a superior customer experience. Our high expectations were exceeded every step of the way. Matt Wright's personal commitment to the agreed upon project plan and timeline was extraordinary. This was one of many clear demonstrations by him of his honesty, trustworthiness and integrity as a contractor. The design process and the execution of demo and construction was of superior quality -- a high value experience. We were most impressed by all the skilled trades professionals on this project, especially the electrician, plumbers, carpenters/cabinet installers, painters and tile installers. They all performed those extra little steps to ensure all work was perfect. We were also very apprectiative of the daily clean ups and low level of disturbance to our home by The HomeWright's crews. There was minimal distruption to our home during all phases of this 6 week project. On a personal note, we highly value the personable, friendly and respectful manner that all individuals showed us when they were in our home. After being completely satisfied with two bathroom remodels, we contacted Matt to finish off our bonus room above our garage. This required some engineering expertise, due to the rooflines, so Matt brought in the experts to design the ceiling pitches and angles to not only be visually appealing, but most importantly to maintain the structural integrity. I was impressed with the thoroughness in design and the quality of the workmanship to make this room a great hangout for our family. His team was able to tie in the HVAC to existing supply and return run into the room when we built the house 20 years ago. New circuits were needed and his electrician did a great job in running new lines and getting the numerous cable connectors sorted. Amanda Wilson was, again, amazing in providing decorating guidance with wall color and carpeting. Overall, we have added some valuable square footage that is really nice now and will be valuable to any prospective buyer down the road. I'd highly recommend Matt Wright for any remodeling project. You can be sure that it will be done with high quality, on time and within budget.

Best experience working with a contractor to-date. Matt is super about staying on schedule, following through on commitments, and paying attention to detail. His communication and responsiveness are impeccable. His designer Amanda offered some great ideas that pushed my comfort zone and turned out amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with the final results!
