Stanley Steemer - Carmel

Carpet cleaning went OK. The grout and tile cleaning and sealing was a rush job. They charged about $500.00 for what turned out to be about an hours work for 2 guys. They promised the grout would look like new. While improved it did not turn out that well. They were careless, and missed dirt in corners. etc. What really frosted me was that they charged so much for so little time spent. They charge by the square foot. I never dreamed they would spend so little time on the job given the quoted price. Had it turned out perfectly I would have still felt ripped off. These are higher rates than a skilled mechanic or plumber, or mechanic gets per hour. Beware of this rip off. About half the price charged would approach a fair rate. I suggest you negotiate a much better rate,or pass on the tile cleaning service. They offered to attempt to re-do the cleaning, but refused any adjustment on price. I won't be using them again unless they adjust the price to a fair amount.

I booked the company on line which was incredibly easy. Someone called to verify the appointment the day before. The crew called and asked if they could come early which was fine. They were professional, were mindful not to let pets out, patiently answered questions and didn't hard sell any extra services. After their second trip out, I signed up for 3 more cleanings in the next year. The carpets looked great.

This price is for 4 visits. They sent a group and the job was not very good. I called then and they sent another crew, and they did a very good job. Overall I was very pleased.

They were recommended from my mother. They do a good job. The approximate cost is for three areas.

Overall a good and fast experience. The house has no furniture in it at this time so that made it pretty easy to complete the job.

I had no problems. The only reason I would not use them again, is that I moved from Indianapolis.

This is the second time I had Stanley Steemer out. My first experience was better. The gentleman was very thorough. This time, the service man did not ask about any specific spots or concerns and really didn't put down protectors consistently around the house. He didn't seem concerned about his work.

I like how the cleaning goes. It does make the carpet wet and takes almost 2 days to dry. With small children, I would be worried about stairs, but I would use them again. I liked what they did, I thought the price was right.

They guys that came out were very professional. They came out and did what they said they would do. They did a good job and I would use them again.

They were knowledgeable. They moved the furniture and put it back. The same guy has always cleaned it.

They did a good job cleaning the carpet and removing stains left by the previous homeowner. They also cleaned, polished, and applied grout sealer to my tile flooring. They did a good job on that also but I feel that the tile cleaning portion of the job was a little overpriced.

The carpets are perfectly clean and odor-free, with all stains removed, and we are quite happy. The recliner is better than it was, but the crew warned us in advance that the recliner might remained stained even after cleaning.

Service was wonderful. Servicemen were wonderful. Gave us lots of suggestions to help clean up after pets and to remove pet hair from our furniture. Very knowledgeable. Did a spot test on the upholstery before cleaning to ensure no damage would occur. Very professional. Would definitely use them again.

Great job! I called Stanley Steemer when another company could not get a stain out of the rug, right before I was to put my house on the market. Jon and Don came within 30 minutes of my call and immediately were able to remove the stain. In fact, the small area of the carpet they cleaned was so much cleaner than the other areas, they had to clean the rest of the carpet to match! (I have attached a picture of this) I can't believe how dirty the other company left the carpets just the day before! I will always use Stanley Steemer for my carpets.

This is the second time we've used Stanley Steamer. The first time, we were serviced by some unprofessional looking and speaking gentlemen. But, they did the job well. Performance was good. Presentation was very poor. This time, that was not the case at all. The job was done well. The servicemen made an error in the final cost. But, the head office rectified the discrepancy immediately. The response time was incredibly fast as well!

They were very good and I was really happy that they could come out the same day. They were very considerate and I was very pleased.

I would use them again. They arrived on time and did a great job.

They called to let me know they were on the way and to get directions. The team of 2 arrived a short time later and I went over the areas to clean and what furniture needed to be moved. They quickly went to work and were done in less than an hour and moved the furniture back, doing a good job. They cleaned a small area rug used to protect unsealed wood flooring between 2 areas they were to clean without charge (or asking). Solution spilled on the wood and also seeped in around the edges of the rug. I noticed it when reviewing the bill and was going to get paper towel to dry it, but was told the guy coiling hose at the truck was getting a towel for it. After a few moments I asked again and B. went and got a towel, but laid it on the doormat and wiped his feet and then folded the towel and wiped the floor, saying he was using the clean part. There is now a whitish stain on the wood. They also did not turn the water off all the way, leaving a stream flowing the size of a pencil.

The experience was pretty good, but there were a few things that weren't that great. There were several stains that went untreated until I pointed them out. There were a few that I missed, and they didn't come up. The two representatives were friendly and helpful. They didn't mind when I showed them the stains, and I asked them to treat them again.

Called in morning and they were out before noon. Did a great job and very professional.

2 workmen from Stanley Steemer arrived within the time frame I had chosen while using their website to place the request. Ordering this work via their website made it very easy to understand all of the cleaning services they provide and the cost associated with each of them. The work was well done with the 2 men taking care to move all movable furniture and then place it back in its original position. All the work was done in approximately 5 hours. Very pleasant clean young men.

They were prompt, efficient and thorough. They left extra foam blocks and plastic papers for table/chair legs for me if I needed them.

Very well. We use them often and they are always friendly, responsive, punctual, and careful to do a good job. They have come on very short notice when necessary. We recommend them without reservation.

Really well. The carpets look 5 years newer.
